Machina Synchron

Hi, good games :). About your deck, I will build it on DN and play a few duels before telling anything about important features. Just by looking at it, I have 2 minor remarks.

1) I don't agree with the extra deck. You have way too many Xyz monsters. I'd swap Abyss Dweller, Gear Gigant X and Utopia for Celestial Dragon (steal a Stadust or BLS) and 2 other synchro monsters.

2) One Memory of an Adversary seems a bit random to me. I'd drop it and another card (maybe Warning or 1 Steam Synchron as it has 3 searchers) for 2 CotH. I have that card on 3 in my deck and I find it pretty useful.

Hi, I made the testing on DN, and the deck is okay. Its biggest weakness is the hand loss with both the Machinas and Synchrons, I usually ran out of cards in a few turns, so I recommend maybe 2 Maxx "C"s to slow down the opponent and draw some cards. Before you actually ask for an official test, I can give you a few practice decks to complete.

My thoughts were to use Hallowed Dragon Boneyard to mill out a Normal/Gemini then send Soul-Eating Divine Dragon - Drain Dragon and use Queen Dragun Djinn and Roar of the Silver Dragon to revive the 2 Dragons and get Number 46: Ethereal Dragon - Draggluong. I'm a little wary on DAD but depending on how many DARKs you wanted to include he could make a good candidate, Lightpulsar could work too since it can revive a Schwarzschild, the Limit Dragon if its included. I was thinking maybe Collapsarpent the Ebony Dragon or Wyburstar the Ivory Dragon to get a quick Level 4, plus if you detach Eclipse Wyvern you instantly have a live Collapsarpent. I was actually thinking about that earlier today, and I was thinking of asking you the same question. It sounds like it should work in theory, but I think it will depend on what Omni-Heroes you want to focus on. I was thinking Tidal and Blaster might be the only ones that would be used since Heat and Bubbleman seem like the only ones somebody would use outside of Stratos and Alius, although with Redox's revival effect that would pretty much break Stratos. The amount of the Dragon Rulers seem fine, Wildheart can make the cut for Redox's effect, and if need be a sided Mask Change for Dian. Maybe Dandy for another Earth monster, there's tons of possibilities for that. The deck would probably thin like that's it's job, with Stratos, E-Call, RotA, and the Dragon Rulers so it could work. Not to mention The Warrior Returning Alive could just grab any E-Hero back. I could work on a decklist when I'm done with the Enthusiastic for Gaurdmaster, if need be. I like the deck, I made a draft using the original idea with Redox, and it is a kinda hit or miss right now. I made it more like a Dragon Ruler deck, bigger monster line with a few traps if needed. I didn't really think of Ocean since Bubbleman is able to special summon itself if need be, but the extra recycling is cool is Ocean sticks around. I made edits to my original build, and ended up with this. I found that using Bubbleman I was able to make some big pushes in a single turn, with the right hand. I figured I could drop Tidal to 2 since I'm using 3 Bubbleman and Stream, Redox can help with revival, if I need another monster to summon another Dragon Ruler, and Gaia to help get over bigger threats. Other than that its pretty stright forward.

I'd say Dire Wolf or maybe Maestroke over Emeral, too much banishing going on to really recycle the monsters you need. I'm still going to test Wildheart and Redox, they have their uses, fairly flexable, and if needed I could side them out games 2 and 3. And it is lame how Heat isn't a Warrior, I've had that problem when I tech'd a Voltic in a previous build a while back. I'm thinking I should switch Gaia Dragon for a generic Rank 4 because of Heat. I've only ran into a few dead draws, and its been pretty consistent. The only problem I came across other than that is not being able to Xyz summon with Heat, which kinda killed an amazing first turn if Heat was a Warrior. Some More Questions

Thanks for your input!! I'm 38 and very well educated but this is a hard game to jump into. I am going to get my son in what is called the dragons (13 and under novice) at a local shop (yetti gaming, St.Louis)and they will teach him how to duel but I'm on my own. I'm going to help him but I'm struggling with this. What about 5Ds? The guys at the shop said, "no". They were nice though, I spent some money, they gave him a deck box, and some single sleeves to protect the cards.

If I buy old boxes, depending on the series, can I get the black numbered cards? The white ones (syncros?) Where is that stuff at? One more thing.. What about the duelist packs?

Synchro deck

Creature swap, definitely 3 of it. I didn't play TG for a really long time, but that card saved me at least once in almost every single game I had. Also it's just my opinion, but the GK engine is too slow and not worth running. If it was my deck, I'd go with -4 GK, -2 Duality, -2 not sure what (BEar or Pot of Duplicity or 1 of the Psychics), and +2 Junk Synchron, + RotA, +2 Maxx "C", +3 Creature Swap. It's just more like my style this way instead of the Gravekeepers, so it'm not sure if it works better or not. But the Swap is really needed and is an awesome card. Lightray Bujins?

Bouncing an idea off of the deck idea you told me about using Chaos Zone and Lightrays, what are your thoughts on throwing Bujins into the mix? I made a decklist earlier without the Bujins and it worked fine, it just seemed a little too close to Jason's Lightray Agent deck or any Lightray Agent deck for that matter. I wanted to try Bujins, but all their decks seem to be like Dragon Rulers where all the decks look a lot alike, except for a couple of cards. I like to think Dragon Rulers are all the same, Prophecy have a few differences, and even though Evilswarms aren't really the greatest right now they're still a lot alike. Re:Pro Move

I'd have to say, attacking for game with Rescue Rabbit is too pro. But it looks like it was a long duel judging from the amount of cards in both graves and in both decks. Saving Drystan with your own Compulsory twice is definitely strange, I can see it happening at least once but twice is surprising.

Personally I don't see Noble Knights running Hidden Armory, but I would consider 1-2 seeing as they don't have a reliable way to get a specific equip needed. It just seems to make sense to me, the mill isn't bad especially if you get lucky and mill a Noble Arms. Its like what happened to me twice while testing my deck for the contest, summon Dimensional Alchemist, use effect and banish top card, banish Tempest on complete luck, search Debris/Lightning.

On another note, I haven't tried Noble Knights yet, I feel like I would get easily confused with both the Knight's and Arm's effects. For some reason they seem overly complicated to me. Hastydemon2 (talk • contribs) 04:14, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

Not sure if it's worth re-opening.. I just wanted to see if an updated Cyber Dragon/Cyber Dark deck could be made. The only thing is that I really want to be both Cyber Dragon AND Cyber Dark. It wouldn't have to be very competitive. Just fun for casual games (i.e. using the Traditional Format). Any language that is not English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Japanese, or Korean is Unofficial. There are two exceptions to this: "Dark Magician" and "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" have Official Chinese names and lores, they use zhname and zhlore; every other card release should use chname and chlore. Also, while Portuguese is official, 99% of our names are unverified. Until a name can be verified, it should use ptnameu for the variable, rather than ptname. Use the latter for names that have been checked against Portuguese card images. I had considered that idea, and may very well do that, but I feel as if the deck is still not at its best yet, even with cards currently released. The deck will only get better as more Rank 6's and deck thinners/searchers are created, but if I get to where I'm satisfied with it then I will definitely write an article. P.S. Hobanomics

The basic idea was that if you look at all the different kind of cards you run, you can find the ideal numbers for each. He used Ravine/Dragon Ruler format as an example, with categories such as "Normal Summons" (for which he found 5 to be ideal), "Defensive cards" (7), Dragon Rulers (12), and so on. He also argued that decks operate ideally at a certain number of cards. Mermails, for example, at 33, Dragon Rulers at 40, Exodia at 5, and so on. His Upstart theory then, is to play your deck as close to the ideal number of cards as possible (i.e. 3 Upstart for anything at or under 37).

It all seemed a bit arbitrary to me, although I saw a lot of stuff in it that I liked. I definitely agree with the deck size stuff (there is clearly an essential core for almost every deck you run and a number of important support cards), but I feel that the cards that are bad in x situation thing varies from card to card too much to give you a solid ideal number. - BF2 Talk Deck Guides 15:13, March 31, 2014 (UTC)

Obstructive poster on the Forums

Hey DarkAce, I have been having a problem with DreadKaiser. I wrote a forum topic intending to discuss a certain topic in Yugioh anime continuity. Dreadkaiser is using his ability to post on the forums in order to be rude, and obstructive. He has repeatedly insulted me, and isn't reading what I post to support my opinions, basically shouting his own ideas over mine without taking them into consideration.
