"Dark Town - The Stolen Pendulum Summon!!" is the third episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. It first aired in Japan on April 20, 2014.
A shadow approaches Yuya who is trying to master Pendulum Summoning with help from Yuzu and the gang. That "shadow" is Shingo Sawatari, a student of the Elite Duel School, LDS. Shingo claims he wishes to see Yuya’s Pendulum Summoning, but…!?

Yuya Sakaki vs. Noboru Gogenzaka
Yuya's turn
Yuya places "Timegazer Magician" in the left Pendulum Zone (Pendulum Scale: 8) and "Stargazer Magician" in the right Pendulum Zone (Pendulum Scale: 1). Yuya Pendulum Summons "Performapal Whip Snake" (1700/900), "Performapal Sword Fish" (600/600) and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (2500/2000) from his hand in Attack Position.
As the Duel was meant as a means for Yuya to figure out Pendulum Summoning, it ends here.
Yuya Sakaki vs. Shingo Sawatari
At the start of the Duel, the Field Spell Card "Dark Town's Prison Tower" is activated, as per the rules of an Action Duel. It will allow the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time.
Turn 1: Yuya
Yuya Normal Summons "Performapal Whip Snake" (1700/900).
Turn 2: Shingo
Shingo Normal Summons "Lightning Board" (1400/1200). Yuya finds and activates an Action Card, but it turns out to be the Trap Card "Break Shot", whose effect reduces the ATK of "Whip Snake" by 900 (1700 → 800). "Lightning Board" attacks "Whip Snake". Yuya finds another Action Card, but it again turns out to be a Trap Card, "Jump Shot", which lowers the ATK of "Whip Snake" by 400 (800 → 400). The attack continues and "Whip Snake" is destroyed (Yuya 4000 → 3000).
Turn 3: Yuya
Yuya draws and Normal Summons "Performapal Skeeter Skimmer" (500/1600).
Turn 4: Shingo
Shingo draws "Tribute Trade". He activates it, letting him Tribute a monster to add a monster from his Deck to his hand that is one Level higher than the Tributed monster. He Tributes the Level 4 "Lightning Board" to add the Level 5 "Stargazer Magician". Shingo's hand also contains "Breakthrough Skill", "Power Darts Shooter", "Rocket Darts Shooter", "Ultimate Darts Shooter" and "Timegazer Magician". Shingo places "Timegazer Magician" in the left Pendulum Zone (Pendulum Scale: 8) and "Stargazer Magician" in the right Pendulum Zone (Pendulum Scale: 1). Shingo Pendulum Summons "Power Darts Shooter" (1800/???), "Rocket Darts Shooter" (1900/???) and "Ultimate Darts Shooter" (2400/???) in Attack Position.
