Yuki, Jaden

Jaden Yuki, known as Judai Yuki (遊城十代, Yūki Jūdai) in the Japanese version, is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller video game. This is a video game depiction of Jaden Yuki, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.

Biography

Jaden and the player were late for the Duel Academy entrance exam. Vellian Crowler gave them both a second chance to enter, if they could defeat him in a Duel. After losing, he developed a dislike for both of them.

After they arrived on the Duel Academy island, Jaden challenged the player to a Duel one night just as the player was about to go to bed.

After arriving late for class, Crowler assigned Jaden and the player a task, where they must search for the Duelist in Disguise, who had been attacking Obelisk Blue students. Crowler believed he had a win-win situation, where either they would be pummeled by the culprit or catch the culprit, in which case he would take the credit. Jaden decided they should go out at night, when the culprit was most likely to appear. They encountered Raizou Mototani, who had been confronted by the Duelist and lost his rare card in an ante Duel. They later found the Duelist in Disguise. When the player defeated him, he was unmasked as Beauregard, being aided by Brier as a joint effort to get revenge on Obelisk blue bullies. Jaden complimented their skills and expressed interest in Dueling them sometime. The two became confident to Duel unmasked by themselves and Jaden decided not to report them to Crowler.

When the player acquired their first duel spirit, Jaden informed the player that he was also able to see duel spirits and told them about his spirit, Winged Kuriboh.

Lyman Banner invited some Slifer Red students, including Jaden to the cafeteria, to welcome the new transfer student, Blair Flannigan, who unbeknownst to them, was a girl disguised as a boy. Jaden introduced himself, Syrus Truesdale, Chumley Huffington and the player to her. Blair asked them if they knew Zane Truesdale, stating that she had business with him, but would not give further details. Jaden had no idea who Zane was, but Chumley pointed out that he must be the only person on campus who does not know who Zane is and explained that he was the strongest Duelist at the academy and had skills that put pros to shame. This got Jaden interested in Dueling Zane and asked where he could find him. Chumley replied that he was a third year and could obviously be found in the Obelisk Blue dormitory. Blair also took note of this information and excused herself, saying she was going to her room. Syrus asked if Jaden thought Blair seemed a bit strange, but Jaden was more focused on Zane.

The next day, Jaden went to the Obelisk Blue dormitory, in search of Zane. He met the player there and they spotted Blair also going inside. They secretly followed Blair, who led them to Zane's room. When they confronted Blair, she fled, just as Zane and Mototani arrived. Jaden was honored to meet Zane, but opted not to ask him for a Duel, in favor of locating Blair. He and the player split up to search for her. The player found her first and by the time Jaden caught up, Blair's disguise had been removed, leaving him surprised to learn she was a girl. Blair decided it was then time for her to go home. Jaden and his friends went to the pier to say goodbye. After she left, Syrus told Jaden that he and Zane were brothers and that he had joined the academy because he wanted to become as good as Zane.
