Joey Normal Summons "Hayabusa Knight" in Attack Position (1000 ATK / 700 DEF) then activates Magic Card "Giant Trunade", but Odion activates Counter Trap Card "Judgment of Anubis" to negate "Giant Trunade's" effect then destroys it. Then, it destroys every monster Joey controls to inflict damage equal to half their total ATK to his Life Points (Joey: 4000 → 1900 Life Points). (NOTE: The real "Judgment of Anubis" would only destroy one of Joey's monsters, and inflict the full ATK to his Life Points as well as only activate against the Spell Card that would destroy the owner's card.)

Odion's turn
Odion Sets 2 cards.

Joey's turn

Joey's turn
Joey Normal Summons "Rocket Warrior" in Attack Position (1500 ATK / 1300 DEF). "Rocket Warrior" attacks Odion, but Odion activates Trap Card "Eye of Wdjat" to redirect the attack to "Alligator's Sword". Joey then activates his set Quick-Play Magic Card "Fairy Box"; "Rocket Warrior's" attack misses. Odion activates 3 Continuous Trap Cards "Embodiment of Apophis" to Special Summon them in Attack Position (1600 ATK / 1800 DEF). (NOTE: In the real game Fairy Box is a Trap Card and it lets you toss a coin, if you guess right the attacking monster's ATK points become 0 but if you are wrong then the battle continues. Also as long as Fairy Box remains face-up on the Field, you can choose to pay 500 Life Points to keep it on the Field or destroy it without paying any Life Points).

Duel continues next episode.

Changes to the English Version

  • In the US version, Giant Trunade is shown traveling across the screen in front of Odion's face as he explains what happened.
  • Right after Mai's close-up, a shot of Odion looking fierce in the US version replaces a shot of Yugi, Mai and Tea's backs. Note that the shot of Odion is reversed—his tattoo's on the wrong side of his face.
  • A shot of Joey getting all wound up is cut from the US version.
  • A shot of the gang reacting to Jounouchi's boasts is cut from the US version.
  • The words "To Be Continued" are added at the end of the dub episode.
