"Hack Attack", known as "Infiltrate SOL's Cyber Fortress" in the Japanese version, is the sixteenth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS anime. It first aired in Japan on August 30, 2017, became available with official subtitles via Crunchyroll on the same day, and aired in Canada on October 21, 2018.

In order to search for the truth about the incident ten years ago, Playmaker hacked into SOL's mother computer, and heads for the data bank that lies deep within its system. However, standing in his way is a Dueling AI program! Can Playmaker get past this new threat and seize the truth?!

The Duel is conducted as a Speed Duel.

Turn 1: Green-A
Green-A activates the effect of "Tentacluster Darkwhip" in its hand, paying 500 LP to Special Summon it (100/500) (Green-A: 4000 → 3500 LP). Green-A activates the Spell "Machine Duplication", targeting a Machine monster he controls with 500 or less ATK and Special Summoning up to two monsters from his Deck with the same name as that face-up monster. He targets "Darkwhip" and Special Summons two copies of "Darkwhip" (100/500). Green-A sets three copies of "Darkwhip" in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Tentacluster Nautilus" (0/↙↓↘) to the Extra Monster Zone. As "Nautilus" was Link Summoned, Green-A activates its effect, Special Summoning a "Tentacluster" monster from his hand to his zone "Nautilus" points to. He Special Summons "Tentacluster Drillworm" (600/1200) to a zone "Nautilus" points to. Green-A Normal Summons "Drillworm" to a zone "Nautilus" points to. Green-A activates the effect of "Nautilus", targeting all monsters it points to and destroying them. He targets and destroys two copies of "Drillworm". As the two Attack Position copies of "Drillworm" were destroyed by a card effect, Green-A activates their effects, sending a random card from Playmaker's hand to the GY, and if it was a monster, he sends an additional random card from Playmaker's hand to the GY. He sends the Monster Card "Flick Clown" and "Dual Assembwurm" with the effect of the first "Drillworm", then sends the Monster Card "Linkslayer" and "Cynet Defrag" with the effect of the second "Drillworm".

Turn 2: Playmaker
During the Standby Phase, as Green-A has no cards in his hand and controls no monsters in his Main Monster Zones, he activates the effect of "Drillworm" in his GY, banishing a card with the same name from his GY to send a random card from Playmaker's hand to the GY, then Special Summoning "Drillworm" in Defense Position. He banishes the other copy of "Drillworm", sends "Dotscaper", and Special Summons "Drillworm" (600/1200).
