Decks[edit]
Nathan uses "B.E.S." Decks in every game, adding "B.E.S. Assault Core" and "Shield Recovery" to his Decks in the later installments. He also uses many other cards referencing the Gradius series.
Nathan's Decks in Tag Force 2 and Tag Force 3 are named after Solar Assault, a spin-off videogame of the Gradius series released by Konami in 1997.
