"What Determination Leads To" is the forty-seventh chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures manga. It was first published April 21, 2023, in the V Jump magazine.
Summary[edit]
Tendo is forced to make a tough call front Jukyu's "Maxx "C"", and their Duel comes to a touching conclusion.

Turn 4: Tendo
Tendo Tributes "Nemeses Corridor" to Special Summon "Thunder Dragon Colossus" from his Extra Deck. Due to the effect of "Maxx "C"", Jukyu draws a card. Since Jukyu activated the effect of "Maxx "C"" this turn, Tendo activates "Triple Tactics Talent" to take control of Jukyu's "Giant Beetrooper Invincible Atlas". Tendo enters his Battle Phase. "Invincible Atlas" attacks "Heavy Beetrooper Mighty Neptune", destroying both monsters in a Double KO. "Spright Red" attacks "Beetrooper Cruel Saturnas", with Tendo activating the effect of "Spright Pixies" in his hand, increasing the ATK of "Red" by the ATK of "Cruel Saturnas" (ATK 1200 → 4600). "Cruel Saturnas" is destroyed (Jukyu's LP: 8000 → 6800). "Thunder Dragon Colossus" attacks Jukyu directly (Jukyu's LP: 6800 → 4200).
Turn 5: Jukyu
Jukyu draws "Battlewasp - Sting the Poison" and subsequently Normal Summons it. However, he is unable to activate its first effect, since Tendo's "Thunder Dragon Colossus" prevents him from adding cards from his Deck to his hand except by drawing them. Since he controls an Insect monster, Jukyu Special Summons a 2nd "Battlewasp - Pin the Bullseye" from his hand, and subsequently activates its effect, inflicting 200 damage to Tendo (Tendo's LP: 5300 → 5100). Next, he activates the effect of "Sting the Poison", Tributing "Pin the Bullseye" to negate the effects of "Thunder Dragon Colossus".
At this point, some steps of Jukyu's turn are skipped. Jukyu now controls "Beetrooper Cruel Saturnas", "Battlewasp - Sting the Poison", "Beetrooper Assault Roller", "Beetrooper Sting Lancer" and a "Beetrooper Token", as well as the Field Spell Card "Beetrooper Formation", and has 1800 LP. Jukyu activates "Beetrooper Landing", using "Cruel Saturnas", "Sting the Poison", "Assault Roller" and the Token as materials to Fusion Summon "Ultra Beetrooper Absolute Hercules". Next, he shuffles his banished "Pin the Bullseye", "Gokipole" and "Maxx "C"" into the Deck to Special Summon a 2nd "Heavy Beetrooper Mighty Neptune" from his hand. Jukyu enters his Battle Phase. "Beetrooper Sting Lancer" attacks and destroys "Spright Red" (Tendo's LP: 5100 → 3900). "Heavy Beetrooper Mighty Neptune" attacks and destroys "Thunder Dragon Colossus" (Tendo's LP: 3900 → 3500). Finally, "Ultra Beetrooper Absolute Hercules" attacks Tendo directly (Tendo's LP: 3500 → 0).
