Episode Summary

Jaden finds out from Banner that Atticus knew who Yusuke was and tries to question him. Alexis is shocked to see that Jaden question Atticus when he wasn't well. Atticus decides to duel Jaden while wearing Nightshroud's mask to help find out about happened. During the duel Atticus refuses to stop until he recovers the memories that he's looking for despite that risk he's putting himself. He's able to find that he did know Yusuke, and that he followed him into the abandoned dorm, during which he Yusuke disappears and traps Atticus in another world where Atticus has to use Nightshroud's power to survive. Jaden defeats Atticus after this, and Alexis reprimands him for putting her brother in danger until she finds that the duel was his idea and not Jaden's. After this, Yusuke appears, and Jaden reveals out that this Yusuke is really a card spirit called Honest.

Jaden Summons "Elemental Hero Clayman" (ATK 800/DEF 2000) in Defense Position and Sets a card.

Nightshroud Summons "Red-Eyes B. Chick" (800/500) in Attack Position and Tributes it to Summon "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" (2400/2000). He then activates "Inferno Fire Blast" (Jaden 1600). Next, he Tributed "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" to Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" (3000/2000). He attacks "Clayman", but Jaden activates "Hero Signal" to Summon "Elemental Hero Bubbleman" (800/1200) in Attack Position and draw two cards. Nightshroud Sets two cards.

Jaden equips "Bubbleman" with "Grade Sword", making "Bubbleman" count as two Tributes to Tribute Summon "Elemental Hero Neos" (2500/2000), whom he equips with "Neos Force" (3300/2000). He then attacks and destroys "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon". (Nightshroud 3700) and inflicts damage equal to "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's" ATK (Nightshroud 700). Nightshroud activates "Red-Eyes Spirit" to revive "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon". During the End Phase, "Neos Force" returns to Jaden's deck.

Nightshroud attacks "Neos" with "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" (Jaden 1100).

Jaden activates "Convert Contact", then activates "O - Oversoul" to Special Summon "Neos" from the Graveyard, He then activates "Elemental Storm", but Nightshroud counters with "Magic Reflector Armor - Metal Plus". Jaden Sets a card.

Nightshroud tributes "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" and "Magic Reflector Armor - Metal Plus" to Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" (2800/2400), which gains 400 ATK for each Dragon-Type monster in Nightshroud's Graveyard (4000/2400). He then attacks Neos, but Jaden activates "Hero's Guard", removing "Bubbleman" from play to halve the Battle Damage and stop Neos from being destroyed, also allowing Jaden to draw 1 card (Jaden 350).

Jaden activates "Contact Soul", but Nightshroud activates "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's" effect, discarding "Cave Dragon" to negate its effect. ("Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" also gains 400 ATK [4400/2400].) Jaden then activates "Hero's Rule 1: Five Freedoms" to remove "Red-Eyes B. Chick", "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon", "Cave Dragon" and "Inferno Fire Blast" in Nightshroud's Graveyard from play ("Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" 2800/2400). He then activates "Neo Space", giving "Neos 500 ATK (3000/2000). He then activates "H - Heated Heart" ("Elemental Hero Neos" 3500/2000). He then attacks "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" (Nightshroud 0)

Jaden wins.
