Welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki!
Hey guys! We have some amazing news that we wanted to let you know about today. Jellyneo is extremely excited to announce that we've joined the Viacom family! We are now a wholly owned subsidiary of Viacom. For full details, read the official press release below:
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki, an online property dedicated to covering developments on the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, has just been purchased by Viacom, Inc. for the sum of $32 million (USD) in a transaction consisting of cash and stock. Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki will change their logo and background accordingly and will be housed under the Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds Group (NVWG), a division within Viacom's MTV Networks that builds online virtual worlds for kids. Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki has covered Yu-Gi-Oh! since its inception and will continue to provide coverage to its large user base.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki's new mission under the Viacom umbrella will be to cross-promote multiple MTV Networks brands and introduce users to other NVWG brands who may have not been previously familiar with brands such as Spongebob Squarepants, Team Umizoomi, etc. The newly planned promotions and events will commence immediately.
We're super excited to be joining the fine folks at Viacom, and to celebrate, we're releasing a new site theme and a new logo to replace our older ones! Let us know whether you like the theme or the logo in our comments, and it'll become the new Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki Default!
And while you're sounding off in our comments, be sure to let us know what new content you'd like to see. Now that we'll be posting about all of Nickelodeon's brands, the sky's the limit, but we want to hear what you want to see! :)
Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki is a free repository on all aspects of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, that anyone can edit.
We have 174,333 articles, and 408,522 files since May 26, 2005. (more statistics)

Featured Card
With the March 1, 2013 format upon us, one of the pivotal cards of the format is likely to be "Fire Formation - Tenki". "Fire Formation - Tenki" allows you to add 1 Level 4 or lower Beast-Warrior-Type monster from your Deck to your hand, and then it gives all Beast-Warriors on your side of the field an extra 100 ATK points. "Tenki" is widely reminiscent of the popular "Reinforcement of the Army", though with the drawback that only 1 "Tenki" can be used per turn.
Not only does "Tenki" search out key "Fire Fist" monsters like "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Gorilla" and "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear", it also searches out important monsters such as "Constellar Kaus" in "Constellar" Decks, "Gladiator Beast Laquari" or "Gladiator Beast Darius" in "Gladiator Beast" Decks, "Wind-Up Rabbit" in any Deck that uses it, and key "Fire King" monsters such as "Fire King Beast Yaksha" and "Fire King Avatar Barong".
Trivia
- "Malice Doll of Demise" is a retrained version of "Doll of Demise". Its effect references how the original "Doll of Demise" was used with "Ectoplasmer" by Arkana. "Malice Doll" would later be used by "Jinzo", who also used "Ectoplasmer".
- "Moja" and "Desertapir" appear in the artwork of "Beastborg Fusioner".
- When "Frightfur Sheep" was released, it had part of the effect of "Frightfur Defender" integrated into its own effect, which was a card that was used with "Frightfur Sheep" in the anime.
