The current copyright notice on a card in the TCG.

The copyright notice is a notice printed on physical cards to indicate the copyright holder for the game the cards are part of.

TCG and OCG[edit]

The previous copyright notice on a card in the TCG prior to 2020.

On Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game and Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game cards, the copyright notice is placed in the bottom right corner of the card's front face, underneath the card text box. It is just to the left of the Eye of Anubis Hologram, though it also appears on cards that lack the hologram (such as Boss Duel cards).

Sets that are reprinted after the debut of a new card layout may use that new layout's copyright notice. For example, when EX Starter Box was reprinted after the debut of the Series 2 layout, the reprinted cards also used the updated notice.

In English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, and Simplified Chinese the notice is printed in the font ITC Serif Regular. In Japanese and Traditional Chinese, it is printed in the font Rodin Medium.

In the TCG, on Strategy Cards (except Card Checklists) the copyright notice "©1996 KAZUKI TAKAHASHI" appears in the center at the bottom of the front face of the card. It does not appear on Card Checklists.

In Korean, on Strategy Cards (except Card Checklists) the copyright notice 「©1996 KAZUKI TAKAHASHI ©2011 NAS・TV TOKYO」 appears in the lower left corner of the front face of the card. It does not appear on Card Checklists.

On Tip Cards, the copyright notice "©1996 KAZUKI TAKAHASHI" appears in the center at the bottom of the front face of the card.

On Duel Checker cards, the copyright notice 「©高橋和希 スタジオ・ダイス/集英社」 (in Japanese) or 「©1996 KAZUKI TAKAHASHI」 (in Korean) appears in the lower right corner of the card text box.
