"The Search for Shadows", known as "Let's Go - To the Final Battle! Airship of the Emperor's Key, Liftoff!!" in the Japanese version, is the ninety-fifth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japan on March 17, 2013 and in the United States on February 1, 2014.

With "Number 66: Master Key Beetle", Astral is able to activate the Different Dimension Airship inside the Emperor's Key. Yuma is determined to use it to go to the Barian World to save Ray. They head, out, accompanied by Shark, Rio, Kite, Orbital 7 and the Super Secret Number Cards Investigation Club. They are pulled in by a black hole and came out of the portal at a place called the "Sargasso", where Vector, Dumon and Mizar await them.

Featured Duels

All three of these Duels start with an active Field Spell Card - "Sargasso the Different Dimension Battlefield", which will inflict 500 damage to any player who Summons an Xyz Monster and 500 damage to any player who controls an Xyz Monster at the End Phase.

Yuma Tsukumo vs. Vector

Start Duel

Turn 1: Yuma
(Yuma's Deck: 40 → 35) Yuma draws (Yuma's Deck: 35 → 34) and Normal Summons "Goblindbergh" (1400/0). Its effect activates, letting him Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster from his hand. He Special Summons "Ganbara Knight" (0/1800). Yuma overlays his two Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia" (2500/2000) in Attack Position (Yuma 4000 → 3500).

Reginald "Shark" Kastle vs. Dumon

Start Duel

Turn 1: Shark
Shark draws and Normal Summons "Double Fin Shark" (1000/1200). He then Special Summons "Silent Angler" (800/1400) from his hand via its own effect as he controls a WATER monster. Shark overlays his two Level 4 monsters, with "Double Fin Shark" being treated as two Overlay Units via its effect. He Xyz Summons "Number 32: Shark Drake" (2800/2100) in Attack Position (Shark 4000 → 3500).

Kite Tenjo vs. Mizar

Start Duel

Turn 1: Kite
Kite draws and Special Summons "Photon Thrasher" (2100/0) as he does not control a monster. He then Normal Summons "Photon Delta Wing" (1800/900). Kite overlays his two Level 4 LIGHT monsters to Xyz Summon "Starliege Lord Galaxion" (2000/2100) in Attack Position (Kite 4000 → 3500).
