Yu-Gi-Oh!

Miscellaneous

  • This card's effect is able to destroy or disable any opposing monster that targets this card in battle or with its effect.

Duelist Kingdom

  • During Yugi Muto's duel against Weevil Underwood, Yugi Normal Summons this card in Defense Position, but Weevil activates "Parasite Worm" to destroy this monster and inflict damage to Yugi's Life Points equal to its ATK.
  • During Yami Yugi's second duel against Seto Kaiba, Yugi summons this card in Attack Position. Yami Yugi then uses "Multiply" to transform this card into an ever-multiplying wall of "Kuribohs" that not even Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" is capable of destroying.
  • In episode 30, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he remembers his Duel with Kaiba on top of the castle and Kaiba wagering his life right when Yami Yugi was about to win. Yami notes that he thought if he had lost, he would have lost his pride as a duelist, but instead he realized something else.
  • In episode 33, this card appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monsters and Spell and Trap Cards.
  • In episode 35, this card can be seen when Yugi looks through his Deck before his duel with Pegasus begins.
  • During Yugi's final duel against Maximillion Pegasus, Yami Yugi sets this monster in Defense Position. When Pegasus' "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" tries to absorb Yugi's "Magician of Black Chaos", Yami Yugi reveals that the set monster is this card. Yami Yugi then activates "Multiply" to summon forth more Kuribohs which forces Pegasus' "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" to absorb the Kuribohs instead, resulting in the Kuriboh swarm self-destructing and blinding Pegasus' "Thousand-Eyes Restrict". While Yugi takes damage equal to its attack points, it's all worth it since Yugi's "Magician of Black Chaos" becomes free from the effect of Pegasus' "Thousand-Eyes Restrict".

Legendary Heroes

  • When dueling inside The Big Five's Virtual World, Yami Yugi summons this card and launches it using "Catapult Turtle". He then activates "Multiply" to turn it into many Kuriboh clones which were then used to destroy a swarm of "Great Moths" that had hatched out of some cocoons.

Battle City

  • During Yugi's and Kaiba's first tag-team duel against Lumis and Umbra, Yugi summons this card in Defense Position, but he respected Kaiba's wishes to not interact in the duel so his monster remained on the field until the duel ended.
  • During Yugi's and Kaiba's second tag-team duel against Lumis and Umbra, Yugi plays this card in Defense Position. Later, Yugi activates "Multiply" to protect Kaiba from a direct attack made by Umbra's "Shining Abyss". Later Lumis activates "Mask of Dispel" to negate the effect of "Multiply", turning the swarm back into one monster, Lumis' "Grand Tiki Elder" then attacks and destroys this monster.
  • In episode 82, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he passes by Odion(posing as Marik) and remembers Marik possessing him to Duel Yami Yugi and get what Marik desires.
  • In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.

Virtual World

  • In episode 99, this card appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck before his Duel with Gansley.
  • During Yugi's duel against Gansley, Yugi had to choose a monster that will be his Deck Master for the Duel. Yugi was about to choose "Dark Magician" since it never let him down previously, but this card immediately chose itself as Yugi's Deck Master. Yugi had no other choice but to go with it as once a Deck Master is chosen, it can't be changed. When Gansley's "Ruklamba the Spirit King" attempts to attack Yami Yugi directly, This monster activates its Deck Master ability to protect Yugi, but this also puts it on the field, putting it in danger of being destroyed(when a Deck Master is destroyed, the player automatically loses). On the next turn, Yami Yugi used his Deck Master's appearance on the field to activate "Rainbow Blessing" which allows Yugi's "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight" to attack Gansley directly and bypass Gansley's Deck Master's ability(which doesn't work against direct attacks), winning Yugi the duel.
  • In episode 100, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he notes he can't attack with "Chimera" again as Gansley will use his Deck Master's ability to negate the attack and inflict damage to Yugi equal to the ATK of "Chimera".
  • In episode 103, this card appears in a flashback Téa Gardner has when she remembers Yugi talking about "Maha Vailo" looking similar to him and having a great power inside its effect.
  • During Yugi Muto's and Joey Wheeler's tag-team duel against The Big Five (combined while using Tristan's body), Yugi summons this card in Defense Position. Later, Johnson's Deck Master's ability destroys it along with Yugi's "Mystical Elf" and Joey's "Aligator's Sword" and "Cyber Harpie Lady".
  • During Yugi Muto's duel against Noah Kaiba, Yugi summons this card and attacks Noah directly. On the next turn, Yugi switches it to Defense Position. Later the effect of Noah's "Otohime" forces this card into Attack Position. Noah's "Yamata Dragon" then destroys this monster. This attack would have made Yugi lose the duel, but Yugi activates "Nutrient Z" which gives him 4000 more Life Points before the damage is subtracted from his Life Points.

Battle City Finals

  • In episode 129, this card is seen in a flashback Yugi has when he remembers the last time he used "Exchange" and how the latter card helped him save Joey from Marik's mind control.
  • During Yugi Muto's third duel with Seto Kaiba, this card is seen at the bottom of Yugi's deck when Kaiba activates "Lullaby of Obedience" to take Yugi's "Slifer the Sky Dragon" from Yugi's deck. This card later got into Yugi's hand through unknown means. Later, Yugi discards this card to protect his Life Points from the effect of Kaiba's "Obelisk the Tormentor"("Slifer" was already immune to the effect due to its status as an Egyptian God, but Kaiba's true aim was Yugi's Life Points, hence why he used this card's effect). Yugi then thanks this monster as he would have lost the duel without its help. Kaiba then becomes greatly angered that Yugi would defy and mock his Egyptian God's power with this card.
  • In episode 135, this card is seen in a series of flashbacks that Yugi has when he notes to himself that his rivalry with Kaiba allowed him to fight harder and reach new heights.
  • During Yami Yugi's duel with Yami Marik, this monster is shown in Yami Yugi's hand. Later, Yugi banishes this card via "Ragnarok". This card was then shown as one of the many monsters that were used to hold down Yami Marik's "The Winged Dragon of Ra".
  • In episode 139, this card appears in a flashback Yami Marik has when he explains to Yami Yugi that he used "De-Fusion" to avoid losing the Duel and when he explains how he got the said card from Yugi.

When the attack from Yugi's "Kuribabylon" towards Rafael's "Guardian Grarl" fails, Yugi removes the former from play to special summon the five Kuriboh brothers. When Rafael's "Guardian Grarl" attacks this card, Yugi activates the effect of "Kuribi" to negate the attack. Yugi then removes the five Kuriboh brothers from play to special summon "Kuribabylon" as a tribute to summon "Dark Magician Girl". Later after he revives "Kuribabylon" along with three other monsters ("Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts", "Berfomet" and "Big Shield Gardna") via "Necromancy", Yugi removes "Kuribabylon" from play to Special Summon the five Kuriboh brothers. Each Kuriboh brother then received a 500 ATK power up from "The Seal of Orichalcos". Yugi then removes the Kuriboh brothers from play to Special Summon "Kuribabylon" who now had 4000 ATK. • During Yami Yugi's second duel with Rafael, Yugi summons all five Kuriboh brothers (this card, "Kuriba", "Kuribi", "Kuribe" and "Kuribu") through the effect of "Five Star Twilight". He then uses the effect of "Kuribu" to decrease the Attack points of Rafael's "Guardian Grarl" by 1500. He then removes the five Kuriboh brothers from play to special summon "Kuribabylon". Later Yugi removes "Kuribabylon" from play to special summon the five Kuriboh brothers. He then removes the five Kuriboh brothers from play to summon "Kuribandit".

All the monsters summoned by Yami, Joey, and Kaiba then attack The Great Leviathan, but it doesn't work. Yami then has "Timaeus" absorb the power of this card and "Multiply".
