Marik Ishtar is a character who appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. While he does have dialogue in the overworld, he does not appear as a duelist. This is a video game depiction of Marik Ishtar, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
A silhouette of Marik Ishtar appeared at the end of the special event Unleash the Egyptian God Card! Yami Marik Returns II, although he was not identified by name. Marik Ishtar also appears during the story of the special event Duelist Chronicles: Battle City Begins!
Marik is rumored to have an unlock or roaming event based on himself soon. Marik is likely to use a Gravekeeper's deck and/or cards that were in Yami Marik's Anime Decks that were not brought to the game.
