She first appeared on October 23, 2023, in her own dedicated event "Dive in! Treasure Hunter Ghost Gal". She became an unlockable character on October 25, 2023.
If you need to find secrets hidden in the digital world, Ghost Gal is the treasure hunter you call! Akira Zaizen hires her to dig up information on Playmaker and the Ignis, but Ghost Gal and Playmaker form a unique relationship where they cooperate just as often as they compete. Also known as Emma Sharpe, Ghost Gal hacks her adversaries with her Altergeist Deck.
When beginning a Duel against Playmaker and Ai, Ghost Gal says, "Been a while, Playmaker. And that cutie Ai is with you too!"
When she loses the Duel, Ghost Gal says, "You sure know how to show a girl a good time." followed by, "Ai, want me to introduce you to some cute little widgets?"
Blue Angel
When beginning a Duel against Blue Angel, Ghost Gal says, "Oh hey now. You changed your avatar back." followed by "Did you also change your strategies for the better?"
When she wins the Duel, Ghost Gal says, "Hey, you're playing pretty good!"
When she loses the Duel, Ghost Gal says, "They can take everything. But don't let 'em take your heart."
Varis
When starting a Duel against Varis, Ghost Gal announces, "I never expected to battle Varis in a place like this..." followed by "But if I'm gonna Duel, I'm gonna win!" or "His deck contains a powerful Link Monster." followed by "The longer this Duel lasts, the worse position I'll be in!"
When she loses the Duel, she says, "Varis was toying with me the whole Duel..." or "How does he able to get that terrifying card?"
When Ghost Gal Summons "Altergeist Primebanshee" she chants, "I'll create a circuit that links the known with the unknown!" followed by "I set my monsters in the Link Arrows! Link the circuit!" and then "Link Summon!" Afterwards, a cut-in of Ghost Gal briefly appears, and she announces, "Appear! Link 3 Altergeist Primebanshee!" If its summoning animation has not played during the Duel, a cutscene of "Altergeist Primebanshee" being Summoned plays afterward.
