Z-one is a Legendary Duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. This is a video game depiction of Z-one, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime. He makes his formal appearance during his special event "The Last Survivor of Mankind: Z-one!".

Blue Gate Keys are required to Duel Z-one at the Gate.

Description

Z-one is one of the four Emperors of Iliaster and the last survivor of the apocalypse. Knowing that the Ener-D Reactor would annihilate the world, he vowed to change the future by executing Aporia and Antinomy's plan: Drop the Ark Cradle on the Reactor to destroy it - along with New Domino City. He used his Timelords - the most powerful beings in history - to wage a ferocious battle against Yusei for the fate of the future.

Yusei Fudo

• When starting a Duel with Yusei Fudo, Z-one says "Yusei, everything you believe in is pointless against me."

    • "Saving one person requires the sacrifice of another." followed by "You are naive if you think you can save everyone."

Antinomy

• When starting a Duel with Antinomy, Z-one says "Antinomy, you're a dreamer. And dreams aren't real."
  • When he wins the Duel, he says "Antinomy, you held on tightly to a tiny sliver of hope." followed by "But reality proved it never existed."
  • When he loses the Duel, he says "I see why your new friends have instilled you with hope."

Aporia

• When starting a Duel with Aporia, Z-one says "Aporia, you know how strong I am. You know you cannot win." or "Aporia, need I remind you that hope is an illusion?"
  • When he wins the Duel, he says "There is no hope in the future, only despair." followed by "You know that more than anyone, Aporia."
  • When he loses the Duel, he says "Aporia, so this is the hope that you found."

Paradox

• When starting a Duel with Paradox, Z-one says "Paradox, show me the results of your research."
  • When he wins the Duel, he says "Paradox, you can't change the future." followed by "Your mission failed."
  • When he loses the Duel, he says "Well done, Paradox. But it's not enough to save the future."
