Solomon Muto is a playable Legendary Duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links who appears in Duel World (DM). This is a video game depiction of Solomon Muto, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.

He first appeared as a Roaming Duelist during his event "Solomon Muto is here!". He became an unlockable character in his own dedicated event "Grandpa Arrives! Solomon Muto".

White Gate Keys are normally required to Duel Solomon Muto at the Gate.

Description[edit]

Yugi Muto's grandfather is the owner of a tiny game shop. Though he may seem like a quirky old man who loves to stay home and play with his grandson, he was an adventurer and expert game player in his younger days. He traveled the globe and defeated opponent's worldwide. He met the Pharaoh's spirit in an Egyptian tomb and obtained Yugi's Millennium Puzzle in a Shadow Game.

Trivia[edit]

  • Many of Solomon's card voice-lines are references to both the anime and manga in many ways:
    • Many cards are from the first ever Deck Yugi has used in the series, originally being Solomon's Deck.
    • The inclusion of Exodia support being a reference to him using Exodia cards.
    • Him claiming he'll win a Duel once he summons Blue-Eyes is a reference to him believing he'll win just by Summoning his 1 Blue-Eyes while Kaiba had then Summoned 3 of his own.
