Special Regulation Duels
Special Regulation Duels is a special type of Tryout Duel for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.
Players can either use a Loaner Deck or create their own Deck to Duel under historic banlists from the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG and TCG.
TCG Regulations[edit]
- 30 Jan — 02 Feb 2024
Players adhere to the January 2024 TCG Lists (excluding cards not yet available in Master Duel) for this event.
The Loaners offer a choice between a "Kozmo", "Valkyrie", or "Gold Pride" Deck: all archetypes that debuted in the TCG over the OCG.
The reward for 3 wins is 1 Selection Pack: "Indomitable Pride".
Time Travel 2004[edit]
- 01 — 05 Mar 2024
Players are both restricted to cards available in the OCG prior to 25 November 2004 (before Flaming Eternity as well as excluding cards not available in Master Duel) and must abide by the September 2004 OCG Lists.
The Extra Monster Zones are unavailable, and the player going first gets to draw on their very first Draw Phase.
The Loaners offer a choice between a "Gadget", generic Fusion, or "Horus the Black Flame Dragon" Deck.
The reward for 3 wins is 1 Selection Pack: "Name of Champions".
Time Travel 2010[edit]
- 24 — 28 June 2024
Players are both restricted to cards available in the OCG prior to 13 November 2010 (up to Storm of Ragnarok as well as excluding cards not available in Master Duel) and must abide by the September 2010 OCG Lists.
The Extra Monster Zones are unavailable, and the player going first gets to draw on their very first Draw Phase.
The Loaners offer a choice between an "Elemental HERO", "Dragunity", or a "Quickdraw Dandywarrior" Deck.
The reward for 3 wins is 1 Selection Pack: "Lord of Dimensions".
