"Proto-Velgear" is the seventy-sixth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on September 17, 2023.

Created on a planet at the edge of the universe, he gradually obtained more comrades and gave rise to a massive civilization in the Velgear Star Cluster. One day, he was drawn to Rush Duels, setting everything in motion in the process. The shocking truth will now be revealed as Kuaidul Velgear, the first of the Kartumata, makes his entrance!

Yudias has 4000 LP, "Darkness Galactica Oblivion" (3000/2500) face-up on his field, in Attack Position and equipped with the Equip Spell Card "Galactica Blazar Horn", and "Mirror Universe" face-down in his Spell & Trap Zone; Zuwijo has 4000 LP, "Abysslayer Leviaknight" (2500/2000 → 0/2000) face-up on his field, in Attack Position, and "Fusion" face-down in his Spell & Trap Zone. The effect of "Galactica Blazar Horn" increases the ATK of the equipped monster by 1200, but if Yudias has two or more monsters on his field, its ATK is decreased by 1000 ("Darkness": 3000/2500 → 4200/2500).

Turn 2: Yudias
As Yudias ends his turn, the ATK and Continuous Effect of "Leviaknight" return to normal ("Leviaknight": 0/2000 → 2500/2000 → 4000/2000).

Turn 3: Zuwijo

Zuwijo's hand contains "Abysslayer Vodyanoy", "Deep Sea Dragon Bat Eel", "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra [L]", "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra [R]", "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [R]", and an unknown Trap. Zuwijo Normal Summons "Vodyanoy" (1000/400) and "Bat Eel" (1000/0). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Bat Eel", allowing him to reveal up to 3 Level 10 monsters from his Graveyard into his Deck to draw cards equal to the number of monsters revealed with this effect, then shuffle cards from his hand into his Deck equal to the number of cards he drew with this effect. Zuwijo reveals "Abyss Posedira [L]", "Abyss Poseidra [R]", and "Abyss Kraken [R]" in his hand and draws "Chaos Trident", "Depth Gazer", and "Voidvelgr Requiem", then shuffles "Abyss Poseidra [L]", "Abyss Poseidra [R]", and "Abyss Kraken [R]" from his hand into his Deck. Zuwijo Tributes "Vodyanoy" and "Bat Eel" to Tribute Summon "Requiem" (2500/2000). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Requiem", allowing him to send the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to have it gain 300 ATK for each DARK monster he controls until the end of this turn, then if Yudias controls a LIGHT monster, "Requiem" gains an additional 600 ATK until the end of this turn. Zuwijo sends "Abysslayer Cetus" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Zuwijo activates his Set "Fusion", allowing him to Fusion Summon a monster from his Extra Deck using face-up monsters he controls as materials. Zuwijo fuses "Requiem" and "Leviaknight" to Fusion Summon "Voidvelgr Chaosmachia" (3400/???). Zuwijo activates "Chaos Trident", equipping it to a DARK monster he controls. Zuwijo equips "Chaos Trident" to "Chaosmachia". The effect of "Chaos Trident" causes the equipped monster to gain 100 ATK for each DARK monster in Zuwijo's Graveyard. Zuwijo has 8 DARK monsters in his Graveyard ("Chaosmachia": 3400/??? → 4200/???). Zuwijo Sets 2 Cards. "Chaosmachia" attacks "Darkness Galactica Oblivion", but since a monster Zuwijo controls declared an attack, Yudias activates his Set "Mirror Universe", allowing him to send all cards in his hand to the Graveyard to choose a Trap in Zuwijo's Graveyard and apply its effect. Yudias sends "Bright Sentinel", "Silver Seyfert", "Vortex Shooter", "Shadow Sentinel" and "Cosmo Titan" from his hand to the Graveyard chooses "Interstellar Change". The effect of "Interstellar Change" makes each player draw five cards and reveal their hands, then if all the revealed cards are monsters, the Battle Phase ends, then Zuwijo must switch with another player. Zuwijo draws and reveals "Deep Sea Dragon Bat Eel", "Abysslayer Selkie", "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken", and two copies of "Abysslayer Makara", while Yudias draws and reveals "Asteroeva", "Interstellime", "Crack Neutron", "Transamu Rainac, and "Darkness Transamu Crisis", then Zuwijo switches with Yuhi Ohdo.
