"Yuamu's Road" is the sixtieth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on May 28, 2023.

Yuhi and That Guy who invented Rush Duels have risked their lives to find out the truth behind the phenomenon that turns Duelists into cards. As Yuamu follows in That Guy's footsteps and tries to figure this out, she runs into Phaser. Through her intense Duel with Phaser, she will reach the truth.

Summary[edit]

Yuamu presses a button in the school's elevator. She and Damamu enter the Student Council room, where they meet up with Ranran. Yuamu didn't think she'd sneak in there, known to only members of the Student Council. Ranran tells Yuamu that the Nanahoshi family is a line of ninjas and it was no trouble. Damamu wonders where the trouble is and Ranran concludes that though she hoped that she and Yuamu meet alone. Yuamu apologizes and tells her that she decided to sneak out with Damamu's power since her brother was turned into a card while Tazaki and company always made sure she doesn't get carded. Ranran asks if the UTS members can keep a secret. Yuamu says that even if they know, it's not like they'd be good at spreading it. She asks Ranran why did she want to talk with her. Ranran shows her the two cards, much to Yuamu's shock.

Yuamu discovers that the two cards Ranran is holding are her brother and That Guy. Ranran explains to her that two years ago, she saw Phaser and That Guy's duel. She witnessed the cruel act of carding a flashback plays, where That Guy gets turned into a card after losing the duel to Phaser by the blue crystal. Ranran is shocked and approaches to Phaser, who notices her immediately. Without thinking, she recovered Phaser's card. Yuamu asks why Phaser wants That Guy's card and Ranran reminisces the other day when Yuhi was turned into a card after losing to Tremolo. Yuamu requests Ranran to show her the cards again. She reads the kanji "Yuhi" and says in thought that she won't be depressed again. She then looks at the second card, officially realizing in surprise that the card is That Guy. Ranran came to conclusion that she should entrust these cards to Yuamu. Yuamu tells her that even if it's cards, she wants to stay together with her brother but she doesn't know what "The person that card needs to go isn't me" means. Ranran informs Yuamu that she'll be heading off. Yuamu instructs her to go with Damamu. Damamu conjures their pink bubble and they and Ranran exit the office. The UTS members arrive as Tazaki asks Yuamu if she's alright. Yuamu, her hand behind her head, tells him that he's worrying too much. Yudias believes so as well and says that Yuamu would never do anything dangerous. Tazaki tells him to refrain acting on his own. As he scolds Yudias, Yuamu tells the others that she is heading home now.

Back at the UTS building, Tazaki declares that they will protect Yuamu without fail. Yudias asks him if there is a need to go this far. Tazaki says since Yuamu is sly, they must go this far. In Yuamu's room, Yuamu is slumping her head on her desk, looking at a photo of her, her brother, and Yudias as she laments about Yuhi's sacrifice. She takes off her glasses and stares at the mirror, telling Yuhi in thought that he must work on his instinct and use whatever methods he thinks to get the truth.

Outside Yuamu's room, Yudias and Tazaki are at the door. Tazaki orders Yuamu to come out of her room. They realize the door is locked (because Yuamu left her room so early). Tazaki wonders if Yuamu left because he and Yudias were so strict of her, she closed off her heart. Yuamu, her voice in a recording tape in her room, asks what's the Ohdo family's secret, which questions Tazaki and Yudias.

At the Zaidavelgear, Manabu, as Muda and Dinois' servant, is obeying the duo's orders as he gets annoyed at being called "Manabubu". Muda explains to him that he gave him a Velgearian-style name. Manabu, annoyed, says that it's not Velgearian-like at all and Muda can at least call him "Manavelgear". Dinois asks Nyandestar what Manabu's current position and Nyandestar answers Muda and Dinois' subordinate. Dinois and Muda ask for a refill, annoying Manabu even more. Manabu wishes he hadn't lost the duel to Zuwijo and asks Nyandestar why is she taking Muda and Dinois' side. Dinois tells him that Nyandestar agreed to being their subordinate if it meant by staying his side. Muda explains that they decided to let her in on her ship as a guest. Manabu suggests an allowance, but he is cut off by Muda and Dinois, who tell him that he's their servant. This also includes Nyandestar as well. Manabu declares asking Zuwijo as well, but Muda and Dinois tell him to call him "Master Zuwijo". Dinois informs that their mission is to go pick a space delivery on their own.

As the rest of UTS arrive at the building, Yudias asks them what secret lies between the Ohdo twins' family line. He suspects it is a grand secret. Tazaki nervously informs that the twins' family is absolutely normal and free from secrets. Yudias wonders why would Yuamu ask such a question. Tazaki orders Yudias to eye beam on the doorknob. The team discovers that Yuamu has left her room and realize that she left a tape recorder. Tazaki wonders where Yuamu is.

Outside of MIK, a security camera has its focus, on Yuamu, who narrates what happened two years ago. Then, the billboard lowers, Phaser finds Yuamu there and thinks that That Guy knows the victory in this battle. He sensed the unfathomable feeling he sensed from him and questions what did he learn from him in the duel. He then suspects that Yuamu is bluffing and knows nothing. Phaser tells Yuamu that this will be the final farewell he makes to the Ohdo name. Damamu pops out behind the building and is about to call Yuamu's name, but Ranran shushes them and ducks behind. The rest of UTS arrive at the scene. Yuamu and Phaser decide to Rush Duel each other. They call out their names and shout "Go Rush!!" as a holographic field surrounds them and their LPs are both at 4000.

Phaser declares his turn and draws "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra [L]" and Maximum Summons "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [L]" with 2300 ATK, "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken" with 2500 ATK, and "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [R]" with 4000 ATK in Maximum Mode. Yudias and Tazaki are impressed. Phaser sets a card and ends his turn.

Yuamu declares her turn and draws, her hand containing "Spindle Dragon", "DBF Rebuildra", "Booster Wyvern", and "Accoundra Burns Rage". She summons three monsters: "Spindle Dragon" with 200 ATK, "DBF Rebuildra" with 900 ATK, and "Booster Wyvern" 300 ATK after drawing and adds "Red Boot Boost Dragon" to her hand to the Graveyard. She reveals "Red Boot Boost Dragon" in her hand to activate DBF Rebuildra's effect and sets "Dragon's Boot Fusion" from her Graveyard. She then sacrifices two monsters ("Spindle Dragon and "DBF Rebuildra") to Tribute Summon. Yuamu chants "Watts are volts and amps! Now it's time to switch on the acceleration with the strongest hertz! Rise and shine! Red Boot Boost Dragon!" as "Red Boot Boost Dragon" is summoned with 2400 ATK. Since her monster is on her field, she can activate Booster Wyvern's effect. Phaser takes 600 damage of his LP as it goes from 4000 to 3400. Yudias and Tazaki are delighted. Yuamu isn't done yet, so she activates the Spell, "Dragon's Boost Fusion". "Red Boot Enhanced Boost Dragon" has been Fusion Summoned with 2900 ATK. She explains that if "Red Boot Boost Dragon" was used as a Fusion material, she can send seven cards from the top of both of their Decks to the Graveyard. Yudias is surprised that Yuamu did have a plan. Yuamu activates Red Boot Enhanced Boost Dragon's effect. She can choose up to 9 monsters from both of her and Phaser's Graveyards and deal 200 damage for each one, so she chooses all monsters in her Graveyard. That makes nine, so LP damage is 1800. Phaser's LP reduces to 1600 now. Yuamu says at the end of this turn, her monster gains 1800 ATK as "Red Boot Enhanced Boost Dragon" gets 4700 ATK and the chosen monsters get sent back to Yuamu's Deck. Once again, Ranran hides Damamu from behind a building. Tazaki discovers that Yuamu can take over "Abyss Kraken". Phaser activates the Trap "Abyss Gash" and explains that "Abyss Kraken" gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn. Yuamu activates the Equip Spell, "Jamming Rate Sword". As the monster is summoned, Yudias is taken aback by this. Yuamu tells Phaser that the equipped monster's ATK goes up by 1000 and "Abyss Kraken" can't activate its effects or attack. Abyss Kraken's ATK increases to 6000, impressing Tazaki and Yudias even more. Ranran thinks that Phaser's LP is halfway gone and Yuamu sealed off his Maximum to buy time so she can shave away what remains of his LP with effect damage. Yuamu sets a card and ends her turn.

Phaser declares his turn and draws. He tells Yuamu that he commends it since her courage for challenging a Maximum monster without her own and explains that when the equipped monster is no more, the Equip Spell is sent to it's owner's Graveyard as he sends "Abyss Kraken" from his field to the Graveyard, much to Yuamu's shock. He Maximum Summons "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra" with 4000 ATK in Maximum Mode after he chants "When the heart of the sea trembles, the door to the abyss delves further into the depths. The abyss' fate will sing its cursed song! Come forth, Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra!". Yuamu is taken aback to find out that Phaser has another Maximum monster, but Phaser still has plenty of materials. He explains that that if he has five or more sea serpents in his Graveyard, he returns all those monster to the bottom of his Deck and activate Abyss Poseidra's effect and can destroy one of Yuamu's monsters. Yuamu hesitantly says that she still has a trap, but Phaser expected that too. Since "Abyss Kraken" was returned to Phaser's Deck, Yuamu's entire field is destroyed, much to Yuamu's horror. "Abyss Poseidra" uses "Cleaning Waves" as it blasts its trident at "Red Boot Boost Dragon". Yuamu and the rest of UTS are shocked at this. "Abyss Poseidra" attacks directly at Yuamu, leaving her zero LP thus losing the Duel to Phaser.

Everyone grieves over Yuamu's defeat. Phaser tells Yuamu that she will become a card since she lost to a Maximum monster. Yuamu says that it's true that she wasn't bluffing at first, but she saw it as her road. She then sacrifices herself as the blue crystal turns her into a card. UTS horrifyingly watches this as the Yuamu card falls slowly and reveals her name on top. The MIK soldiers arrive to capture UTS. As UTS confronts them, Ranran collects the Yuamu card with the Yuhi and That Guy cards, but she is struck by the net, giving Yudias the chance to catch the three cards. Yudias and Tazaki look at the cards and discover that one of them has the name "Yuga Ohdo". Yudias is shocked to learn that That Guy's real name is "Yuga Ohdo". Tazaki realizes that the name "Yuga" isn't anywhere in the family registry of the line of Ohdo family ancestors. The boys look at the cards once more and are surprised to see that the three kids-in-cards have been turned into cats. They get surrounded by the soldiers and see everyone else is defeated. The soldiers take the cards from Yudias' hand, but Ranran takes them again and catches up with Damamu, in their bubble. Phaser orders the soldiers to retrieve all three cards and that the Ohdos must be erased.

In the card world, Yuamu wakes up as a cat and realizes where she is now.

As Yuamu has three or less monsters in her Graveyard, she activates the effect of "Spindle Dragon" to send the top two cards of her Deck to the Graveyard, then if Phaser has a face-up monster with 2500 or more ATK on his field, Yuamu can add a Level 3 or higher Dragon Type monster from her Graveyard to her hand. Yuamu sends "Dragon's Boost Fusion" and "Red Boot Boost Dragon" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Red Boot" from her Graveyard to her hand. As "DBF Rebuildra" was Normal Summoned or Special Summoned during this Main Phase, Yuamu activates its effect, revealing a "Blue Tooth Burst Dragon" or a "Red Boot" in her hand to Phaser to Set a "Dragon's Burst Fusion" or a "Dragon's Boost Fusion" from her Graveyard in her Spell & Trap Zone. Yuamu reveals "Red Boot" in her hand to Phaser and Sets "Dragon's Boost Fusion" from her Graveyard in her Spell & Trap Zone. Yuamu Tributes "Spindle Dragon" and "DBF Rebuildra" to Tribute Summon "Red Boot" (2400/1600). As Yuamu has "Blue Tooth" or "Red Boot" face-up on her field during the Main Phase she Normal Summoned or Special Summoned "Booster Wyvern", she activates its effect to inflict 600 damage to Phaser (Phaser: 4000 → 3400 LP). Yuamu activates the effect of "Red Boot Enhanced Boost Dragon" to choose up to nine monsters in the Graveyards, inflict damage to Phaser equal to the number of those monsters x 200 and increase its ATK by the number of those monsters x 200 until the end of this turn, then Yuamu shuffles those monsters into the owner's Deck. Yuamu chooses "Blue Tooth", "Spindle Dragon", "DBF Rebuildra", "Booster Wyvern", "Red Boot", "1seg Wurm", "SSD Drake", "Recovery Dragon" and "Multi-Mode Dragon" in her Graveyard (Phaser: 3400 → 1600 LP; "Red Boot Enhanced Boost Dragon": 2900/2100 → 4700/2100), then shuffles them into her Deck. As a card was returned from either Graveyard to the Deck, Phaser activates his face-down Trap Card "Abyss Gash" to increase the ATK of a face-up Sea Serpent Type monster on his field by 1000 until the end of this turn. Phaser chooses "Abyss Kraken" ("Abyss Kraken": 4000 → 5000). As Yuamu has a face-up Dragon Type monster on her field, she activates the Equip Spell Card "Jamming Rate Sword", equipping it to a face-up monster on the field to increase its ATK by 1000, but prevent it from activating its effects or attacking. Yuamu equips "Jamming Rate Sword" to "Abyss Kraken" ("Abyss Kraken": 5000 → 6000). Yuamu Sets "Accoundra Burns Rage" in her Spell & Trap Zone.
