"Phaser's Secret" is the fifty-ninth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on May 21, 2023.
Yudias spots Tremolo entering the Coruffium. He challenges Tremolo to a Duel in order to avenge Yuhi. Tremolo has broken the rules and entered the Coruffium in order to track down Fisher Sukai, the alien who has been spying on him and his brother. There is a secret that he wants to protect, no matter what.
Summary[edit]
At the Mutsuba Town mansion, Phaser and Tremolo are having breakfast. Tremolo questions about last night, but Phaser tells him that he was too tired to remember. The Butler informs the brothers that the Hottenmeyer has moved to tears. She never thought she would get to see her masters have breakfast again at the mansion. Tremolo reminisces that he and his brother were stuck in the Central Ward for a while. He says in thought that he and Phaser will always be together.
Outside of MIK headquarters, the guards say "Good morning, Tremolo!" as they bow down. The minnow from before, named "Heel No. 6" tells "Neck No. 2" that the wind blows quickly. Neck No. 2 informs Heel No. 6 that Tremolo has arrived. A third minnow, Right Ear No. 3 and a fourth, Shoulder No. 11 tells their friends that if they have got Phaser's secret, their mission will be complete. at the vending machine room. Tremolo takes out his net and declares that it's time to exterminate. The minnows are shocked that Tremolo knew about this. Tremolo catches the minnows as much as he can with his net. It shows that the minnows are stored in five bags. Tremolo laments about his brother's secrets, especially anything about himself. He then finds a missing minnow he hasn't caught: Elbow No. 15, who is inside the vent. Elbow No. 15 escapes, saying that he has to warn Rovian and all the other rebels.
Meanwhile, Yudias thinks of the rebels-turned-into-cards, saying that they must defeat the Ryugu brothers at all costs. Yuamu warns him that he'll get scolded by Tazaki if he keeps loitering around, and that the Ryugu brothers are formidable opponents. Yudias tells her that she shouldn't worry as he has "Magnum Overlord", which he pulls out of his Deck case. As Yudias looks in the other direction, the cards begin to glitch and produce a weird noise, which Yuamu notices, but as she tells him, they go back to normal.
Elbow No. 15 has arrived at the school, but Tremolo finds him quickly. Tremolo takes off his hood in a cloak, declaring that he must protect his brother. Yuamu and Yudias find Tremolo entering the Coruffium, which was a lively place where aliens could duel. Ganiko replies that it is all deserted now. When Tremolo discovers the battleground, Ganiko sees him as a new customer after a long while. She panickedly asks him if he's from the MIK. Tremolo tells her to not tell anyone he was here. In thought, he says that it is a violation of MIK regulations to set foot in the Alien Residential Area unless on an official operation so he would like to catch it. As Elbow No. 15 cowers behind, Ganiko tells Tremolo that they don't have an opponent until Yudias and Yuamu arrive at the scene. Yudias tells him that the match was 888 years in the making and challenges him to a Rush Duel. Yuamu shouts Yudias' name in worry and Yudias tells her that he still has the thing That Guy left for him and it is their chance to claim revenge for Yuhi. Tremolo thinks he doesn't know where it's hiding, but it may came out to give Yuamu and Yudias' info. He accepts the challenge and takes off his cloak. Yudias transforms into his white ceremonial garb. He and Tremolo shout out their names and call "Go Rush!!". The boys' LP are at 4000 as the holographic field forms around them.
Tremolo declares his turn and draws, his hand containing two copies of "Groundmaster Bathynomus", "Legacyrex Legarex", "Darkglow Angler" and "Abysskite Prevent Wall". He decides to start gently then Summons "Groundmaster Bathynomus" with zero ATK and "Darkglow Angler" with 1200 ATK. He Tributes "Groundmaster Bathynomus" to Tribute Summon "Legacyrex Legarex" with 1800 ATK. Yuamu tells Yudias to keep his guard up in thought. Tremolo sends another "Groundmaster Bathynomus" from his hand to the Graveyard to use Darkglow Angler's effect. He then sends the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Shinesteel Ultra Dragon Devastar Okeabyss [L]") and adds a Maximum Monster from his Graveyard to his hand. Yudias asks is it coming. Legarex's effect is activated and Tremolo sends the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Sea Dragon Knight", "Shinesteel Ultra Dragon Devastar Okeabyss [R]" and "Shinesteel Ultra Dragon Devastar Okeabyss"). He explains if there was a Sea Serpent Type among them, he can add two Sea Serpents of the same Level from his Graveyard to his hand. Yudias braces himself as Tremolo Maximum Summons "Devastar Okeabyss" with 3500 ATK. He sends the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to use the first effect of "Devastar Okeabyss", gaining 500 ATK until at the end of this turn as its ATK rises up to 4000. Tremolo laments how unfortunate it is and also tells Yudias that he can destroy a Level 8 or lower monster in his field, but he doesn't have any. Ganiko exclaims that Yudias is lucky. Yuamu thinks Tremolo has been continuously piling monsters up in his Graveyard and he is planning on something. Tremolo Sets a card and ends his turn.
Yudias declares his turn and Velgear Draws, his hand containing "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord", "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [R]", "Cosmo Titan" and "Galactica Healing". He is glad That Guy's cards are here, but the cards glitch again like before and turn grey. He wonders what is happening and at this rate, he will not be able to use the Maximum. Yuamu asks Yudias what's wrong, before realizing it's the Maximum. Meanwhile, at the basement Goha Company, Kaizo puts himself back together and re-activates with a beep. Tremolo tells Yudias that he is being indecisive and he doesn't mind waiting. Tremolo in thought asks the Informant what's wrong and thinks Yudias and Yuamu are right before his eyes. If he wants to pass his info, now is the perfect time. Yudias hesitates while staring at the cards and panics a little, asking himself what he should do. Just then, Kaizo arrives shouting "Boom!" as he shoots lasers at Yudias. Everyone is shocked that Kaizo is here. Kaizo yells that he is 45 degrees to the right and chops the cards on Yudias' hand conjuring a shining beam that blinds Ganiko, Yuamu and Tremolo. The cards return to normal, but then transform into a brand new Maximum: "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord". Yudias is concerned while Kaizo falls, exhausted from the shock. Yudias discovers that Kaizo stabilized the Maximum cards with his last ounce of strength. Tremolo wonders what was that. Yudias says to answer Kaizo's wishes, he mustn't lose the Duel. He glows yellow as he declares that this is his new Maximum and Maximum Summons his new "Magnum Overlord" with 3500 ATK. Ganiko glances at how amazing it is. Yuamu learns that "Supreme Skystream" became "Supreme Fullsteam". Yudias uses its effect and sends "Cosmo Titan" to the Graveyard to inflict 500 damage as Tremolo's LP reduces to 3500. He tells him that if his monster is in Maxmimum Mode, he can also deal 100 damage x the Level of "Cosmo Titan". Tremolo's LP damages even more, this time to 2800. Yudias sends the top card of his Deck ("Heavy Storm") to the Graveyard to use its second effect and it gains 600 ATK until the end of this turn as "Supreme Fullsteam" has 4100 ATK. Until the end of Tremolo's turn, it cannot be destroyed by card effects. Yudias shouts that they are still hurtling through the galaxy and activates his monster's third effect. He returns three monsters ("Levia-Dragon - Daedalus", "Sea Dragon Knight" and "Darkglow Angler") from Tremolo's Graveyard to his Deck and Sets a card. "Magnum Overlord" attacks "Devastar Okeabyss" and Yudias exclaims "Storm Gustav Kanome!" as the Maximums blast all their beams at "Devastar Okeabyss". Tremolo activates the Trap Card "Abysskite Prevent Wall", so "Devastar Okeabyss" can't be destroyed by this battle, and Tremolo gains 1000 LP as his LP go from 2800 to 3800, then go down to 3200 as he takes damage. Yudias relucantly ends his turn, the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" going back to 3500. Ganiko tells Yudias good work while Yuamu wonders in thought why Tremolo came all the way down here alone?
Tremolo declares his turn and draws, his hand containing "Abysskite Ultimail", "Abysskite Prevent Wall", "Legacyrex Legarex", "Groundmaster Bathynomus", and "Heavenly Gift". He sends three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to use Devastar Okeabyss' first effect. His monster gains 500 ATK as the ATK goes from 3500 to 4000. Then, Tremolo pays 500 LP to use Devastar Okeabyss' second effect as his LP reduces to 2700. He adds "Abysskite Prevent Wall" from his Graveyard to his hand and sets two cards. He tells himself that he must not get carried away and has to focus on his brother's secret. Elbow No. 15 suggests that this is the time as he flies away. Tremolo declares that he must protect it and activates the spell "Heavenly Gift". He sends two monsters from his hand to his Graveyard as he flings the cards like a boomerang. Ganiko thinks that Tremolo is making such a big deal. Tremolo explains that there are 10 monsters in his Graveyard so he sends a card from his hand to the Graveyard to use Devastar Okeabyss' third effect. "Devastar Okeabyss" gains 7500 ATK equal to Magnum Overlord's ATK, much to Yudias' shock. "Devastar Okeabyss" attacks "Magnum Overlord" as Tremolo exclaims "Trinity Vibration!". "Devastar Okeabyss" fires three yellow beams at "Magnum Overlord", but luckily, Yudias is able to activate the trap "Galactica Healing". He sends the top three cards from his Deck to the Graveyard and gains 300 LP for every monster sent to the Graveyard as his LP goes up to 4900. He says if there was a Galaxy monster sent, neither of his or Tremolo's monsters can be destroyed by battle. Tremolo tells him that even if his monsters wasn't destroyed, he'll take it. Yudias still takes the damage as his LP decreases to 900 and he screams "4000". Yuamu and Ganiko scream Yudias' name as Tremolo ends his turn.
Yudias declares his turn and Velgear Draws, his hand containing "Satellite Pegasus", "Ozone Layer", "Mobius Linker", "Asteroeva", and "Vanishing Heliacal Riser". He cries that "Magnum Overlord" has yet to be defeated and sends his monster from his hand to the Graveyard to use Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord's effect. He deals Tremolo 500 damage as Tremolo's LP reduces to 2200. Yudias tells him that its effect also deals him Vanishing Heliacal Riser's Level in damage x 100. Then, Tremolo's LP reduces even more to 1500. Yuamu predicts that if Tremolo's LP can gain more from "Abysskite Prevent Wall", he will be done for. Yudias says that Yuamu is correct and tells Tremolo that it is better for him to inflict the continuous effect damage than to rush in and attack carelessly. Tremolo informs Yudias that he has bad news: when Yudias sends a card to the Graveyard, he can send one set card on his field to the Graveyard to activate "Abysskite Ultimail". "Devastar Okeabyss" gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn as "Devastar Okeabyss" gains 4500 ATK. Tremolo also gains 1000 LP as his LP increases to 2500. Until the end of this turn, "Devastar Okeabyss" cannot be destoryed by battle or card effects. Yuamu comments how powerful the trap card is. Yudias laments how he should not have carelessly challenged either of the Ryugu brothers to Rush Duel. He asks himself if he was too overconfident in his Maximum's power since he needs to win this duel. He thinks Zuwijo will laugh at him if he gives up. He then flashbacks to Zuwijo calling Manabu a weak coward, and gets the courage to cativate Magnum Overlord's third effect. Yudias exclaims "Potentialize Express!" and returns three monsters from Tremolo's Graveyard to his Deck. Tremolo says it's stubborn, but Yudias tells him that is not the full effect. Yudias then returns "Magnum Overlord" to his Deck. Ganiko is shocked at this. Yudias draws three cards and Ganiko thinks it's a waste. Yudias activates the Spell "Advance Impact" and chooses one monster on Tremolo's field and sends monsters from his hand to the Graveyard whose Levels equal that of Tremolo's monsters. He summons "Interstellime" with 1000 ATK and Tribute Summons "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord". Ganiko is amazed at this, but Tremolo thinks it's impossible and explains when tribute summoning Level 10 monsters, Yudias needs to sacrifice two monsters. Yudias activates Advance Impact's effect and when he Tribute Summons, he can use one monster on his field and Tremolo's "Devastar Okeabyss" as sacrifices, much to Tremolo's horror. Yudias sacrifices "Interstellime" and Tremolo's "Devastar Okeabyss" for the requirement. Yudias then Maximum Summons "Magnum Overlord" with 1900 ATK and sends the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to use Magnum Overlord's effect and it gains 600 ATK until the end of this turn as "Magnum Overlord" gains 2500 ATK. Yuamu is amazed that Yudias can use Maximums like this as well. "Magnum Overlord" uses "Siegfried Kanone" attacks directly at Tremolo, leaving him zero LP.
Yudias now understands Zuwijo's rule while Tremolo gets arrested by the MIK. Copyko holds up a walkie talkie in front of Tremolo, revealing that Phaser is calling him. Phaser tells his brother that even if he is a Special Enforcement Officer, he cannot be allowed to act alone and go against MIK regulations. They will have to take Tremolo to custody. Yuamu rushes to the scene and wonders why was Tremolo acting alone to the point of going against regulation.
Tremolo, in jail, laments how he lost the Duel and got captured by his own allies, but he was able to protect his brother's secret to the very end, looking at his Deck case and revealing he managed to catch Elbow No. 15 when he used the effect of "Heavenly Gift" as an excuse to throw the cards at him.
Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear vs Tremolo Ryugu[edit]
This Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Tremolo
Tremolo's hand contains two copies of "Groundmaster Bathynomus", "Legacyrex Legarex", "Darkglow Angler" and "Abysskite Prevent Wall". Tremolo Normal Summons a "Groundmaster Bathynomus" (0/1500) and "Darkglow Angler" (1200/400). Tremolo Tributes "Groundmaster Bathynomus" to Tribute Summon "Legacyrex Legarex" (1800/400). Tremolo activates the effect of "Darkglow Angler", sending a Sea Serpent Type monster from his hand to the Graveyard to send the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard, then he can add a Sea Serpent Type Maximum Monster from his Graveyard to his hand. Tremolo sends "Groundmaster Bathynomus" from his hand to the Graveyard and sends "Shinesteel Ultra Dragon Devastar Okeabyss [L]" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Devastar Okeabyss [L]" from his Graveyard to his hand. As Tremolo has five or less monsters in his Graveyard, he activates the effect of "Legacyrex Legarex" to send the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he sent a Sea Serpent Type monster to the Graveyard this way, he can add two Level 7 or higher Sea Serpent Type monsters with the same Level from his Graveyard to his hand. Tremolo sends "Sea Dragon Knight", "Shinesteel Ultra Dragon Devastar Okeabyss [R]" and "Shinesteel Ultra Dragon Devastar Okeabyss" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Devastar Okeabyss" and "Devastar Okeabyss [R]" from his Graveyard to his hand. Tremolo sends "Darkglow Angler" and "Legacyrex Legarex" from his field to the Graveyard and Maximum Summons "Devastar Okeabyss [L]" (2200/0), "Devastar Okeabyss" (2500/0) and "Devastar Okeabyss [R]" (2400/0) in Maximum Mode (3500). Tremolo activates the effect of "Devastar Okeabyss [R]", sending the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 500 until the end of this turn, then if it is in Maximum Mode, he can destroy a face-up Level 8 or lower monster on Yudias's field. Yudias's hand contains "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord", "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [R]" and "Cosmo Titan". Yudias draws "Galactica Healing".
At this point, "Magnum Overlord [L]", "Magnum Overlord" and "Magnum Overlord [R]" begin to glitch, but Kaizo appears and transforms the cards into "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord" and "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord [R]" respectively, stabilizing them.
Yudias Maximum Summons "Magnum Overlord [L]" (800/0), "Magnum Overlord" (1900/0) and "Magnum Overlord [R]" (500/0) in Maximum Mode (3500). Yudias activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [R]", sending a monster from his hand to the Graveyard to inflict 500 damage to Tremolo, then if it is in Maximum Mode, he inflicts damage to Tremolo equal to the Level of the monster sent to the Graveyard this way x 100. Yudias sends "Cosmo Titan" from his hand to the Graveyard (Tremolo: 4000 → 3500 → 2800 LP). Yudias activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 600 until the end of this turn, then if it is in Maximum Mode, it cannot be destroyed by Tremolo's card effects until the end of his next turn. Yudias sends "Heavy Storm" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 4100). As Yudias has ten or more cards in his Deck and has no other monsters on his field, he activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [L]" to shuffle three monsters from the Graveyards into the owner's Decks, then if it is in Maximum Mode, he can shuffle it into the owner's Deck to draw three cards. Yudias shuffles "Daedalus", "Sea Dragon Knight" and "Darkglow Angler" from Tremolo's Graveyard into his Deck. Yudias Sets "Galactica Healing" in his Spell & Trap Zone. "Magnum Overlord" attacks "Devastar Okeabyss". As Yudias's monster declared an attack targeting Tremolo's face-up Sea Serpent Type monster, Tremolo activates his face-down Trap Card "Abysskite Prevent Wall" to prevent the attack target from being destroyed by that battle, then if it is in Maximum Mode, he gains 1000 LP (Tremolo: 2800 → 3800 LP). The attack continues (Tremolo: 3800 → 3200 LP). As Yudias ends his turn, the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" returns to normal ("Magnum Overlord": 4100 → 3500).
Turn 3: Tremolo
Tremolo draws "Abysskite Ultimail", "Abysskite Prevent Wall", "Legacyrex Legarex", "Groundmaster Bathynomus" and "Heavenly Gift". Tremolo activates the effect of "Devastar Okeabyss [R]". Tremolo sends two copies of "Darkglow Angler" and "Sea Dragon Knight" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Devastar Okeabyss": 3500 → 4000). Tremolo activates the effect of "Devastar Okeabyss [L]", paying 500 LP to add an "Abysskite Protection" or an "Abysskite Prevent Wall" from his Graveyard to his hand, then if it is in Maximum Mode, he can add an "Abysskite Ultimail" from his Graveyard to his hand. Tremolo pays 500 LP (Tremolo: 3200 → 2700 LP) and adds "Abysskite Prevent Wall" from his Graveyard to his hand. Tremolo Sets an "Abysskite Prevent Wall" and "Abysskite Ultimail" in his Spell & Trap Zones. Tremolo activates the Spell Card "Heavenly Gift" to send any number of monsters from his hand to the Graveyard, and if the total Levels of those monsters sent to the Graveyard this way is 10 or higher, he can draw two cards. Tremolo sends "Legacyrex Legarex" and "Groundmaster Bathynomus" from his hand to the Graveyard. As "Devastar Okeabyss" is in Maximum Mode and Tremolo has ten or more Sea Serpent Type monsters in his Graveyard, he activates its effect, sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the ATK of a face-up monster on Yudias's field until the end of this turn. Tremolo sends "Abysskite Prevent Wall" from his hand to the Graveyard and chooses "Magnum Overlord" ("Devastar Okeabyss": 4000 → 7500). "Devastar Okeabyss" attacks "Magnum Overlord". As Tremolo's monster declared an attack, Yudias activates his face-down Trap Card "Galactica Healing" to send the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, then he gains LP equal to the number of monsters sent to the Graveyard this way x 300, then if he sent three Galaxy Type monsters to the Graveyard this way, monsters cannot be destroyed by that battle. Yudias sends "Rebirth Cycle", "Strange Traveler" and "Sorapuyo" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard (Yudias: 4000 → 4900 LP). The attack continues (Yudias: 4900 → 900 LP). As Tremolo ends his turn, the ATK of "Devastar Okeabyss" returns to normal ("Devastar Okeabyss": 7500 → 3500).
Turn 4: Yudias
Yudias draws "Satellite Pegasus", "Ozone Layer", "Mobius Linker", "Asteroeva" and "Vanishing Heliacal Riser". Yudias activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [R]". Yudias sends "Heliacal Riser" from his hand to the Graveyard (Tremolo: 2700 → 2200 → 1500 LP). As a card was sent to Yudias's Graveyard, Tremolo activates his face-down Trap Card "Abysskite Ultimail", sending another Spell/Trap Card from his field to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of a face-up Sea Serpent Type monster on his field by 1000 until the end of this turn and gain 1000 LP, then if that monster is a Maximum Monster, it cannot be destroyed by battle or Yudias's card effects until the end of this turn. Tremolo sends his face-down "Abysskite Prevent Wall" from his field to the Graveyard and chooses "Devastar Okeabyss" ("Devastar Okeabyss": 3500 → 4500; Tremolo: 1500 → 2500 LP). As Yudias has ten or more cards in his Deck and has no other monsters on his field, he activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [L]". Yudias shuffles three copies of "Legacyrex Legarex" from Tremolo's Graveyard into his Deck, then shuffles "Magnum Overlord" from his field into his Deck and draws "Interstellime", "Magnum Overlord" and "Advance Impact". As Yudias has no monsters on his field, he activates the Spell Card "Advance Impact" to send monsters from his hand to the Graveyard whose total Levels equal the Level of a face-up monster on Tremolo's field, and this turn if Yudias would Tribute Summon a monster, he can Tribute that face-up monster instead of a monster on his field. SEVENS - Episode 045, where That Guy obtained "Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan", which wound up rewritten into "Supreme Skystream" in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS - Episode 070, and finally "Supreme Fullsteam" in this episode.
