Summary[edit]

Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear vs Phaser Ryugu[edit]

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Yudias has 2000 LP and no cards on his field; Phaser has 2400 LP, "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [L]" (2300/0), "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken" (2500/0) and "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [R]" (2300/0) face-up on his field, all in Maximum Mode (4000) and equipped with the Equip Spell Card "Abyss Arms - Madness Shell", and "Naked Abyss" and "Violence Abyss" face-down in his Spell & Trap Zones. The effect of "Abyss Arms - Madness Shell" allows the equipped monster to attack twice each turn, and inflicts 300 damage to Yudias when it destroys his monsters by battle.

Turn 4: Yudias
Yudias draws "Transamu Rising", "Transamu Crisis", "Transamu Warcry", "Transamu Rainac Overwrite" and "Transamu Craione". Yudias Normal Summons "Craione" (500/500). As Yudias has no other monsters on his field, he activates the effect of "Craione" to add a LIGHT Attribute Galaxy Type Normal Monster from his Graveyard to his hand, but he can only attack with Galaxy Type monsters this turn. Yudias adds "Transamu Rainac" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yudias Normal Summons "Rainac" (1600/0). Yudias Tributes "Craione" and "Rainac" to Tribute Summon "Overwrite" (2500/1600). Yudias activates the effect of "Overwrite", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to reduce the Level of a face-up Level 4 or higher monster on the field by 3 until the end of this turn, then he increases the ATK of "Overwrite" by 500 until the end of this turn, then if he has "Rainac" in his Graveyard, the name of "Overwrite" becomes "Rainac" this turn. Yudias sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Abyss Kraken" ("Abyss Kraken": Level 10 → 7; "Overwrite" → "Rainac": 2500/1600 → 3000/1600). Yudias activates the Spell Card "Transamu Warcry", shuffling three monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to decrease the ATK of a face-up Level 7 or lower monster on Phaser's field by 400 until the end of this turn, then Yudias can make it lose additional 1600 ATK until the end of this turn if he has "Rainac" face-up on his field. Yudias shuffles "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord" and "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord [R]" from his Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Abyss Kraken" ("Abyss Kraken": 4000 → 3600 → 2000). Yudias Sets "Transamu Crisis" and "Transamu Rising" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Rainac"/"Overwrite" attacks and destroys "Abyss Kraken" (Phaser: 2400 → 1400 LP). As Yudias ends his turn, the name and ATK of "Rainac"/"Overwrite" return to normal ("Rainac" → "Overwrite": 3000/1600 → 2500/1600).

Turn 5: Phaser
Phaser draws "Abyss Form", "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra [R]", "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra", "Abyss Flash" and "Abyss Vortex". Phaser activates the Spell Card "Abyss Vortex" to send the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he sent three monsters to the Graveyard this way, he can add a Level 8 or higher Sea Serpent Type monster from his Graveyard to his hand. Phaser sends "Abysslayer Cetus", "Abysslayer Apsaras" and "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra [L]" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Abyss Poseidra [L]" from his Graveyard to his hand. Phaser Maximum Summons "Abyss Poseidra [L]" (2300/0), "Abyss Poseidra" (2500/0) and "Abyss Poseidra [R]" (2300/0) in Maximum Mode (4000). As Phaser Normal or Special Summoned a monster, Yudias activates his face-down Trap Card "Transamu Crisis" to inflict damage to Phaser equal to the Level of an Attack Position Galaxy Type monster with 1600 or more ATK on Yudias's field x 100, then he can change that monster to face-up Defense Position and prevent it from being destroyed by card effects this turn. Yudias chooses "Overwrite" (Phaser: 1400 → 700 LP), then changes it to Defense Position. As Phaser has five or more Sea Serpent Type monsters in his Graveyard, he activates the Spell Card "Abyss Flash", shuffling all monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to change the battle position of all monsters on Yudias's field. Phaser shuffles "Abyss Kraken [R]", "Abyss Kraken", "Abyss Kraken [L]", "Apsaras", "Cetus" and "Abysslayer Makara" from his Graveyard into the Deck and changes "Overwrite" to Attack Position. Phaser Sets "Abyss Form" in his Spell & Trap Zone. "Abyss Poseidra" attacks and destroys "Overwrite" (Yudias: 2000 → 500 LP).

Turn 6: Yudias
Yudias draws "Vortex Shooter", "Silver Seyfert", "Magnum Overlord [L]", "Magnum Overlord" and "Magnum Overlord [R]". Yudias Maximum Summons "Magnum Overlord [L]" (800/0), "Magnum Overlord" (1900/0) and "Magnum Overlord [R]" (500/0) in Maximum Mode (3500). As Yudias Normal or Special Summoned a monster, Phaser activates his face-down Trap Card "Abyss Form" to increase the ATK of a face-up Sea Serpent Type monster on his field by 1000 until the end of this turn, then if he has no monsters in his Graveyard, this turn he takes no effect damage and Spell/Trap Cards on his field cannot be destroyed by Yudias's card effects. Phaser chooses "Abyss Poseidra" ("Abyss Poseidra": 4000 → 5000). As Yudias has ten or more cards in his Deck and has no other monsters on his field, he activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [L]" to shuffle three monsters from the Graveyards into the owner's Decks, then if it is in Maximum Mode, he can shuffle it into the owner's Deck to draw three cards. Yudias shuffles "Overwrite", "Rainac" and "Craione" from his Graveyard into his Deck, then shuffles "Magnum Overlord" from his field into his Deck and draws "Yuhi Ohdo", "Yuamu Ohdo" and "Yuga Ohdo".

At this point, "Yuhi", "Yuamu" and "Yuga" are rewritten into "Super Galaxy King Lord of Galactica", "Super Galaxy King Lord of Galactica [L]" and "Super Galaxy King Lord of Galactica [R]" respectively.

Yudias Maximum Summons "Lord of Galactica [L]" (2500/0), "Lord of Galactica" (2500/0) and "Lord of Galactica [R]" (2500/0) in Maximum Mode (4000). As "Lord of Galactica [R]" is in Maximum Mode, Yudias activates its effect to send Normal Monsters from his hand to the Graveyard whose total Levels equal the Level of a face-up monster on Phaser's field, and Yudias increases its ATK by that monster's ATK until the end of this turn. Yudias sends "Silver Seyfert" and "Vortex Shooter" from his hand to the Graveyard and chooses "Abyss Poseidra" ("Lord of Galactica": 4000 → 9000). As a card was sent from the hand to the Graveyard, Phaser activates his face-down Trap Card "Violence Abyss" to make Yudias take all battle damage from battles involving a face-up Sea Serpent Type monster on Phaser's field this turn, then if he has no monsters in his Graveyard, Yudias's monsters that can attack must attack this turn. Phaser chooses "Abyss Poseidra". Yudias activates the effect of "Lord of Galactica [L]", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to decrease the ATK of a face-up Galaxy/Spellcaster/Machine/Dragon Type monster with 4000 or more ATK on his field by 4000 until the end of this turn, then he can destroy up to four cards on Phaser's field. Yudias sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Lord of Galactica" ("Lord of Galactica": 9000 → 5000), then tries to destroy "Abyss Poseidra" and Phaser's face-down "Naked Abyss", but as he has no monsters in his Graveyard and "Abyss Poseidra" is in Maximum Mode, its Continuous Effect prevents it from being destroyed by Yudias's card effects, and due to the effect of "Abyss Form", Phaser's face-down "Naked Abyss" is not destroyed. "Lord of Galactica" attacks "Abyss Poseidra", so both monsters are destroyed. As a face-up Galaxy Type monster on Yudias's field was destroyed by battle, Yudias activates his face-down Trap Card "Transamu Rising" to draw a card and show it, and if that card is a LIGHT Attribute Galaxy Type Normal Monster, he can Special Summon it to his field in Attack Position, then he can equip a "Transamu Lionheart" from his Graveyard to that monster. Yudias draws and shows "Rainac" (1600/0), and Special Summons it in Attack Position, then equips "Transamu Lionheart" from his Graveyard to it. The effect of "Transamu Lionheart" increases the ATK of the equipped monster by 400, and during Yudias's turn, a "Rainac" equipped with it gains additional ATK equal to the total Levels of the Level 7 or higher monsters in his Graveyard x 100 ("Rainac": 1600/0 → 2000/0 → 5000/0). As Yudias Normal or Special Summoned a monster, Phaser activates his face-down Trap Card "Naked Abyss" to draw a card and show it, and if that card is a Sea Serpent Type monster, he can also Special Summon it to his field in Attack Position. Phaser draws and shows "Abysslayer Leviaknight" (2500/2000), and Special Summons it in Attack Position. The Continuous Effect of "Leviaknight" increases its ATK by the number of Level 10 or higher Sea Serpent Type monsters in Phaser's Graveyard x 500, then if he has three or more Level 10 or higher Sea Serpent Type monsters in his Graveyard, during Yudias's turn, it cannot be destroyed by his card effects ("Leviaknight": 2500/2000 → 4000/2000). "Rainac" attacks and destroys "Leviaknight" (Phaser: 700 → 0 LP).
