"The Jobless" is the eighty-fourth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on November 12, 2023.
"Nice shot!" A basketball hoop shouts out of nowhere. As it turns out, it's a friend of Mitsuko from the Three-Meter Planet, Tamako Kago, who is also known as Big Sis Goalko Baske. Both her and Mitsuko are acting strange, so in order to snap them out of it, Yuamu and Epoch challenge them to a two-on-two Duel!
Featured Duel: Yuamu Ohdo and Ehoko "Epoch" Kamijo vs Mitsuko Hiramori and Tamako Kago[edit]
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel. The Duel is also conducted as a Tag-Team Duel: Both pairs share fields, LP, and Graveyards.
Turn 1: Mitsuko
Mitsuko's hand contains "Secret Trailokya Star Cluster", "Secret Investigator Mismatch", "Secret Investigator Mislead", "Secret Investigator Mistral" and "Secret File 3000 - Final Tragedy". Mitsuko activates the Spell Card "Secret Trailokya Star Cluster", sending three LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monsters from her hand to the Graveyard to send the top three cards of her Deck to the Graveyard, then she can Special Summon up to three LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monsters from among the cards sent to the Graveyard this way face-up to her field. Mitsuko sends two copies of "Mislead" and "Mistral" from her hand to the Graveyard and sends three copies of "Elite Secret Investigator Mystery" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard, then Special Summons three copies of "Mystery" (2300/1000) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. Mitsuko Sets "Secret File 3000 - Final Tragedy" in her Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 2: Yuamu
Yuamu's hand contains "Blue Tooth Reconnect", "Blue Tooth Burst Dragon", "Striping Wyvern" and "Booster Wyvern". Yuamu draws "Dralightning Storm". Yuamu Normal Summons "Striping Wyvern" (0/0) and "Booster Wyvern" (300/300). Yuamu activates the effect of "Striping Wyvern", sending the top two cards of her Deck to the Graveyard and sending it from her field to the Graveyard to Special Summon a "Blue Tooth" or a "Red Boot Boost Dragon" from her hand to her field in face-up Defense Position, then she can add a "Dragon's Burst Fusion" or a "Dragon's Boost Fusion" from her Graveyard to her hand. Yuamu sends "Dragon's Boost Fusion" and an unknown monster from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard, sends "Striping Wyvern" from her field to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Blue Tooth" (2500/1500) from her hand in Defense Position, then adds "Dragon's Boost Fusion" from her Graveyard to her hand. As Yuamu has "Blue Tooth" or "Red Boot" face-up on her field during the Main Phase she Normal Summoned or Special Summoned "Booster Wyvern", she activates its effect to inflict 600 damage to Mitsuko (Mitsuko/Tamako: 4000 → 3400 LP). Yuamu activates the Spell Card "Dragon's Boost Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up Dragon Type monsters from her field to the Graveyard as material, then if she sent "Red Boot" to the Graveyard this way, she can send the top seven cards of her Deck to the Graveyard, then if she sent a card to the Graveyard this way, she can send the top seven cards of Mitsuko's Deck to the Graveyard. Yuamu sends "Blue Tooth" and "Booster Wyvern" from her field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Blue Tooth Enhanced Burst Dragon" (3000/2000) in Attack Position. As Mitsuko has a face-up Level 7 or higher monster on her field, Yuamu activates the Spell Card "Blue Tooth Reconnect", shuffling two LIGHT Attribute Dragon Type monsters from her Graveyard into the Deck to Special Summon a "Blue Tooth" from her Graveyard face-up to her field. Yuamu shuffles "Booster Wyvern" and "Striping Wyvern" from her Graveyard into the Deck and Special Summons "Blue Tooth" (2500/1500) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. Yuamu activates the effect of "Blue Tooth Enhanced Burst Dragon", sending a monster from her field to the Graveyard to destroy a face-up card on the field, then if she sent a monster whose original Level is 7 or higher to the Graveyard this way, she can Special Summon a "Blue Tooth" from her Graveyard face-up to her field. Yuamu sends "Blue Tooth" from her field to the Graveyard and destroys the second "Mystery", then Special Summons "Blue Tooth" (2500/1500) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. Yuamu Sets "Dralightning Storm" in her Spell & Trap Zone. "Blue Tooth" attacks and destroys the third "Mystery" (Mitsuko/Tamako: 3400 → 3200 LP). "Blue Tooth Enhanced Burst Dragon" attacks and destroys the first "Mystery" (Mitsuko/Tamako: 3200 → 2500 LP).
Turn 3: Tamako
Tamako's hand contains "Secret Base Guardian Misshot", "Secret Investigator Miscast", "Mislead", "Mistral" and "Secret File 3 - 3-on-3". Tamako Normal Summons "Miscast" (300/300). As Tamako has no other monsters on her field, she activates the effect of "Miscast", paying 300 LP to send the top three cards of her Deck to the Graveyard, and if she sent a LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monster to the Graveyard this way, she adds a LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monster from her Graveyard to her hand. Tamako pays 300 LP (Mitsuko/Tamako: 2500 → 2200 LP), sends three copies of "Mismatch" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard and adds "Mismatch" from her Graveyard to her hand. Tamako Normal Summons "Mismatch" (1300/300). As Yuamu has a face-up Level 7 or higher monster on her field, Tamako activates the effect of "Mismatch", sending a Level 3 Reptile Type monster from her hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Level 7 Reptile Type monster from her Graveyard to her field in face-up Attack Position. Tamako sends "Mislead" from her hand to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Mystery" (2300/1000) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. As Tamako has three face-up LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monsters on her field, she activates the effect of "Mystery" to shuffle two other monsters from her field and a monster from her hand into the owner's Deck and increase its ATK by 300 until the end of this turn, then she Special Summons two Reptile Type monsters from her hand and/or Graveyard face-up to her field. Tamako shuffles "Mismatch" and "Mislead" from her field and "Mistral" from her hand into her Deck ("Mystery": 2300/1000 → 2600/1000), then Special Summons two copies of "Mystery" (2300/1000) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. Tamako Tributes the second and third "Mystery" to Tribute Summon "Misshot" (300/2400). Tamako activates the effect of "Misshot", shuffling three LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monsters from her Graveyard into the Deck to increase its ATK by 3000 until the end of Epoch's next turn, then if Tamako activated this effect during the turn she Tribute Summoned it by Tributing "Mystery", she can destroy up to three face-up Level 8 or lower monsters on the field. Tamako shuffles "Mistral" and two copies of "Mislead" from her Graveyard into the Deck ("Misshot": 300/2400 → 3300/2400), then destroys "Blue Tooth". Tamako Sets "Secret File 3 - 3-on-3" in her Spell & Trap Zone. "Misshot" attacks and destroys "Blue Tooth Enhanced Burst Dragon" (Yuamu/Epoch: 4000 → 3700 LP). "Mystery" attacks Yuamu directly (Yuamu/Epoch: 3700 → 1100 LP). As Tamako ends her turn, the ATK of "Mystery" returns to normal ("Mystery": 2600/1000 → 2300/1000).
Turn 4: Epoch
Epoch's hand contains "Dice of Greed", two copies of "Dice Archangel", "Skull Dice" and "Dice Archswordsman". Epoch activates the Spell Card "Dice of Greed", sending three cards with an effect that requires a die roll from her hand to the Graveyard to roll a six-sided die, and she draws cards equal to the result, then she can add up to two "Graceful Dice" and/or "Skull Dice" from her Graveyard to her hand if the result is three or lower. Epoch sends two copies of "Dice Archangel" and "Skull Dice" from her hand to the Graveyard, cheats to roll a six and draws two copies of "Dice Angel", two copies of "Dice Demon", "Graceful Dice" and "Dice Archdemon". Epoch Normal Summons two copies of "Dice Angel" (0/600) and "Dice Demon" (600/0). As Epoch Normal or Special Summoned a monster, Tamako activates her face-down Trap Card "Secret File 3 - 3-on-3" to Special Summon a LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monster from her Graveyard face-up to her field, then if each player has three monsters on their field, she gains 3000 LP and inflicts 300 damage to Epoch. Tamako Special Summons a second "Mystery" (2300/1000) from her Graveyard in Attack Position (Mitsuko/Tamako: 2200 → 5200 LP; Yuamu/Epoch: 1100 → 800 LP). Epoch Tributes both copies of "Dice Angel" to Tribute Summon "Dice Archdemon" (2400/1500). Epoch Normal Summons a second "Dice Demon" (600/0). Epoch Tributes both copies of "Dice Demon" to Tribute Summon "Dice Archswordsman" (600/2400). Epoch activates the effect of "Dice Archdemon" to roll a six-sided die, and she decreases the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters on Tamako's field by the result x 100 until the end of this turn, then they lose additional ATK and DEF equal to the result x 100 until the end of this turn if Epoch has "Skull Dice" in her Graveyard. Epoch cheats to roll a six ("Mystery" x2: 2300/1000 → 1700/400 → 1100/0; "Misshot": 3300/2400 → 2700/1800 → 2100/1200). Epoch activates the Spell Card "Graceful Dice" to roll a six-sided die, and she increases the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters on her field by the result x 100 until the end of this turn. Epoch rolls a six ("Dice Archdemon": 2400/1500 → 3000/2100; "Dice Archswordsman": 600/2400 → 1200/3000). Epoch activates the effect of "Dice Archswordsman" to roll a six-sided die, and it can attack a number of times equal to the result during this turn. Epoch rolls a six. As Tamako has three monsters on her field, Epoch activates her face-down Spell Card "Dralightning Storm", shuffling three Level 7 or higher LIGHT Attribute Dragon Type monsters from her Graveyard into the Deck to destroy all Spell/Trap Cards on Tamako's field. Epoch shuffles "Blue Tooth Enhanced Burst Dragon", "Blue Tooth" and an unknown monster from her Graveyard into the Deck and destroys Tamako's face-down "Secret File 3000 - Final Tragedy". "Dice Archdemon" attacks and destroys "Misshot" (Mitsuko/Tamako: 5200 → 4300 LP). "Dice Archswordsman" attacks and destroys both copies of "Mystery" (Mitsuko/Tamako: 4300 → 4200 → 4100 LP), then attacks Tamako directly four times (Mitsuko/Tamako: 4100 → 2900 → 1700 → 500 → 0 LP).

- When Mitsuko sends three LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monsters from her hand to the Graveyard to activate "Secret Trailokya Star Cluster", "Secret Investigator Mismatch" is replaced with a second copy of "Secret Investigator Mislead".
