"An Animal Star Is Born" is the ninety-second episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on January 14, 2024.
In order to save the Velgearians, Yuga's knowledge will be required. Yuamu and co. use Manya's connections to help look for Yuga. They visit a studio to film a movie, but run into Bochi, who has previously disappeared after saying that he won't come back until he's become a star. And so, Manya begins a Duel against Bochi to punish him!
Featured Duel: Manya Atachi vs Bochi[edit]
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Manya
Manya's hand contains "Jacuzzi Bath", "Aqua Privacy", "Nuvia the Wicked Mischief Maker", "Dian Keto the Cleaning Maiden" and "The Agent of Cleaning - Venus". Manya Normal Summons "Venus" (1400/0). Manya activates the effect of "Venus", paying 500 LP to send the top card of her Deck to the Graveyard, and if that card was an Aqua Type monster, she can Special Summon an Aqua Type monster with 500 or less ATK from her Graveyard face-up to her field. Manya pays 500 LP (Manya: 4000 → 3500 LP), sends "Cleaning Fairy Lily" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Lily" (400/1500) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. Manya activates the Spell Card "Jacuzzi Bath" to return a face-up Aqua Type monster from her field to the owner's hand. Manya returns "Venus" from her field to her hand. Manya Normal Summons "Venus" (1400/0). Manya activates the effect of "Venus". Manya pays 500 LP (Manya: 3500 → 3000 LP), sends "Spirit of the Soup" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Soup" (0/1400) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. Manya Tributes "Lily" and "Soup" to Tribute Summon "Dian Keto" (2500/1000). Manya Normal Summons "Nuvia" (1000/800). As Manya has three face-up Aqua Type monsters on her field, she activates the effect of "Nuvia", sending the top card of her Deck to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of all face-up Aqua Type monsters on her field by 200 until the end of this turn, then she can add a "Rainy Megalopolis" from her Graveyard to her hand. Manya sends "Rainy Megalopolis" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard ("Venus": 1400/0 → 1600/0; "Dian Keto": 2500/1000 → 2700/1000; "Nuvia": 1000/800 → 1200/800), then adds "Rainy Megalopolis" from her Graveyard to her hand. As Manya's LP are lower than Bochi's LP, Manya activates the effect of "Dian Keto", sending a card from her hand to the Graveyard to gain 1000 LP, then she increases its ATK by 1000 until the end of this turn. Manya sends "Rainy Megalopolis" from her hand to the Graveyard (Manya: 3000 → 4000 LP; "Dian Keto": 2700/1000 → 3700/1000). Manya Sets "Aqua Privacy" in her Spell & Trap Zone. As Manya ends her turn, the ATK of "Venus", "Dian Keto" and "Nuvia" returns to normal ("Venus": 1600/0 → 1400/0; "Dian Keto": 3700/1000 → 2500/1000; "Nuvia": 1200/800 → 1000/800).
Turn 2: Bochi
Bochi's hand contains "Wander Triple", "Heartless Hound Blade - Sorrowful Beast", "D and Care", "Woofderful Heartless Hound" and "Heartless Hound Martial Master Shiba". Bochi activates the Spell Card "Wander Triple" to send the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, then he can Special Summon a Beast-Warrior Type monster from among the cards sent to the Graveyard this way face-up to his field. Bochi sends "Shiba", "Heartless Hound Thunder Emperor Drainu" and an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then Special Summons "Shiba" (2500/1800) from his Graveyard in Attack Posiiton. As "Shiba" was Normal Summoned or Special Summoned during this Main Phase, Bochi activates its effect to Special Summon a Level 5-7 Beast-Warrior Type monster from his Graveyard face-up to his field. Bochi Special Summons "Drainu" (2400/1500) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. Bochi activates the effect of "Drainu" to send the top two cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he activated this effect during the Main Phase he Normal Summoned or Special Summoned it, he can Special Summon a Level 6 or lower Beast-Warrior Type Normal Monster from his Graveyard face-up to his field. Bochi sends "Rage of the Beasts" and "Heartless Hound Blaster Chaka Chow Chow" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then Special Summons "Chaka Chow Chow" (800/2100) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. Bochi Tributes "Drainu" and "Chaka Chow Chow" to Tribute Summon a second "Shiba" (2500/1800). As the second "Shiba" was Normal Summoned or Special Summoned during this Main Phase, Bochi activates its effect. Bochi Special Summons "Drainu" (2400/1500) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. As Bochi has two or more face-up Beast-Warrior Type monsters on his field, he activates the Spell Card "Woofderful Heartless Hound" to send the top four cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he sent four Beast-Warrior Type monsters to the Graveyard this way, he can increase the ATK of a face-up monster on his field by 1200 until the end of this turn. Bochi sends "Vorse Raider", "Heartless Hound Blade Aikuchihuahua", "Heartless Hound Blaster Gundog" and "Heartless Hound Blade Bulldosu" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then chooses the first "Shiba" ("Shiba": 2500/1800 → 3700/1800). Bochi Sets "D and Care" and "Heartless Hound Blade - Sorrowful Beast" in his Spell & Trap Zones. The first Shiba attacks and destroys "Dian Keto" (Manya: 4000 → 2800 LP). "Drainu" attacks and destroys "Venus" (Manya: 2800 → 1800 LP). The second "Shiba" attacks and destroys "Nuvia" (Manya: 1800 → 300 LP). As Bochi ends his turn, the ATK of the first "Shiba" returns to normal ("Shiba": 3700/1800 → 2500/1800).
Turn 3: Manya
Manya draws "Cosmo Clean", "Dian Keto the Gourmet Maiden", "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden", "Aqua Inflation" and "Revival 2510". As Bochi has a face-up Level 7 or higher monster on his field, Manya activates the Spell Card "Revival 2510" to Special Summon a monster with 2500 ATK/1000 DEF from her Graveyard face-up to her field. Manya Special Summons "Dian Keto the Cleaning Maiden" (2500/1000) from her Graveyard in Attack Position. Manya activates the Spell Card "Aqua Inflation" to Special Summon up to two Aqua Type monsters with the same ATK and DEF as a face-up Aqua Type monster on her field from her hand face-up to her field. Manya Special Summons "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden" (2500/1000) and "Dian Keto the Gourmet Maiden" (2500/1000) from her hand in Attack Position. As Manya's LP are lower than Bochi's LP, Manya activates the effect of "Dian Keto the Cleaning Maiden". Manya sends "Cosmo Clean" from her hand to the Graveyard (Manya: 300 → 1300 LP; "Dian Keto the Cleaning Maiden": 2500/1000 → 3500/1000). As a player gained LP, Bochi activates his face-down Trap Card "D and Care" to increase the ATK of all face-up monsters on his field by 200 until the end of this turn, then if Manya has a face-up Level 7 or higher monster on her field, Bochi gains 1000 LP and he inflicts 1000 damage to Manya ("Shiba" x2: 2500/1800 → 2700/1800; "Drainu": 2400/1500 → 2600/1500; Bochi: 4000 → 5000 LP; Manya: 1300 → 300 LP). Manya activates her face-down Spell Card "Aqua Privacy", shuffling a Field Spell Card from her Graveyard into the Deck to choose 2 to 3 face-up Aqua Type monsters with the same Level on her field, and she increases their ATK by the number of those monsters x 500 until the end of this turn. Manya shuffles "Rainy Megapolis" from her Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Dian Keto the Gourmet Maiden", "Dian Keto the Cleaning Maiden" and "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden" ("Dian Keto the Gourmet Maiden": 2500/1000 → 4000/1000; "Dian Keto the Cleaning Maiden": 3500/1000 → 5000/1000; "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden": 2500/1000 → 4000/1000). "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden" attacks and destroys the first "Shiba" (Bochi: 5000 → 3700 LP). "Dian Keto the Gourmet Maiden" attacks and destroys the second "Shiba" (Bochi: 3700 → 2400 LP). "Dian Keto the Cleaning Maiden" attacks and destroys "Drainu" (Bochi: 2400 → 0 LP).
