"Proto-Velgear" is the seventy-sixth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on September 17, 2023.
Created on a planet at the edge of the universe, he gradually obtained more comrades and gave rise to a massive civilization in the Velgear Star Cluster. One day, he was drawn to Rush Duels, setting everything in motion in the process. The shocking truth will now be revealed as Kuaidul Velgear, the first of the Kartumata, makes his entrance!
Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear vs Zuwijo zir Velgear[edit]

Yudias has 4000 LP, "Darkness Galactica Oblivion" (3000/2500) face-up on his field, in Attack Position and equipped with the Equip Spell Card "Galactica Blazar Horn", and "Mirror Universe" face-down in his Spell & Trap Zone; Zuwijo has 4000 LP, "Abysslayer Leviaknight" (2500/2000 → 0/2000) face-up on his field, in Attack Position, and "Fusion" face-down in his Spell & Trap Zone. The effect of "Galactica Blazar Horn" increases the ATK of the equipped monster by 1200, but if Yudias has two or more monsters on his field, its ATK is decreased by 1000 ("Darkness Galactica Oblivion": 3000/2500 → 4200/2500).
Turn 2: Yudias
As Yudias ends his turn, the ATK and Continuous Effect of "Leviaknight" return to normal ("Leviaknight": 0/2000 → 2500/2000). The Continuous Effect of "Leviaknight" increases its ATK by the number of Level 10 or higher Sea Serpent Type monsters in Zuwijo's Graveyard x 500, then if he has three or more Level 10 or higher Sea Serpent Type monsters in his Graveyard, during Yudias's turn, it cannot be destroyed by his card effects ("Leviaknight": 2500/2000 → 4000/2000).
Turn 3: Zuwijo
Zuwijo's hand contains "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [R]", "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra [R]", "Abyssal Dragon Lord Abyss Poseidra [L]", "Deep Sea Dragon Bat Eel" and "Abysslayer Vodyanoy". Zuwijo draws "Depth Geyser". Zuwijo Normal Summons "Bat Eel" (1000/0) and "Vodyanoy" (1000/400). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Bat Eel", revealing up to three Level 10 monsters in his hand to Yudias to draw cards equal to the number of monsters revealed this way, then Zuwijo shuffles cards from his hand into the Deck equal to the number of cards drawn this way. Zuwijo reveals "Abyss Kraken [R]", "Abyss Poseidra [R]" and "Abyss Poseidra [L]" in his hand to Yudias and draws "Chaos Trident", "Abyss Maxibubble" and "Voidvelgr Requiem", then shuffles "Abyss Poseidra [L]", "Abyss Poseidra [R]" and "Abyss Kraken [R]" from his hand into the Deck. Zuwijo Tributes "Bat Eel" and "Vodyanoy" to Tribute Summon "Requiem" (2500/2000). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Requiem", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the number of face-up DARK Attribute monsters on his field x 300 until the end of this turn, then it gains additional 600 ATK until the end of this turn if Yudias has a face-up LIGHT Attribute monster on his field. Zuwijo sends "Abysslayer Cetus" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Requiem": 2500/2000 → 3100/2000). Zuwijo activates his face-down Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from his field to the Graveyard as material. Zuwijo sends "Leviaknight" and "Requiem" from his field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Voidvelgr Chaosmachia" (3400/2500) in Attack Position. Zuwijo activates the Equip Spell Card "Chaos Trident", shuffling a DARK Attribute monster from his Graveyard into the Deck and equipping it to a face-up DARK Attribute monster on his field to increase its ATK by the number of DARK Attribute monsters in his Graveyard x 100, but it cannot attack face-up monsters with a Level equal to or higher than it. Zuwijo shuffles "Vodyanoy" from his Graveyard into the Deck and equips "Chaos Trident" to "Chaosmachia" ("Chaosmachia": 3400/2500 → 4200/2500). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Chaosmachia", shuffling two DARK Attribute monsters with different Types from his Graveyard into the Deck to shuffle up to two face-up cards from Yudias's field into the owner's Deck. Zuwijo shuffles "Requiem" and "Leviaknight" from his Graveyard into the Deck and shuffles "Darkness Galactica Oblivion" and "Galactica Blazar Horn" from Yudias's field into his Deck ("Chaosmachia": 4200/2500 → 4000/2500). Zuwijo Sets "Abyss Maxibubble" and "Depth Geyser" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Chaosmachia" attacks Yudias directly. As Zuwijo's monster declared an attack, Yudias activates his face-down Trap Card "Mirror Universe", sending his entire hand to the Graveyard to Set a Trap Card from Zuwijo's Graveyard in Yudias's Spell & Trap Zone, then he can activate the Trap Card Set this way. Yudias sends "Cosmo Titan", "Shadow Sentinel", "Vortex Shooter", "Silver Seyfert" and "Bright Sentinel" from his hand to the Graveyard and Sets "Interstellar Change" from Zuwijo's Graveyard in Yudias's Spell & Trap Zone, then activates his face-down Trap Card "Interstellar Change" to make each player draw five cards and reveal their entire hand to their opponent, and if all revealed cards are monsters, he ends the Battle Phase, then its owner must switch with another player. Zuwijo draws and reveals "Bat Eel", "Abysslayer Selkie", "Abyss Kraken [R]" and two copies of "Abysslayer Makara" to Yudias while he draws and reveals "Asteroeva", "Interstellime", "Crack Neutron", "Transamu Rainac" and "Darkness Transamu Craisis" to Zuwijo, then he switches with Yuhi Ohdo.

Errors[edit]
- When Zuwijo draws five cards and reveals his entire hand by the effect of "Interstellar Change", his hand is shown to contain "Deep Sea Dragon Bat Eel", "Abysslayer Selkie", "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [R]" and two copies of "Abysslayer Makara", but in a later shot, both copies of "Makara" are replaced with two copies of "Selkie".
- During the UTS Report segment at the end of the episode, the featured card, "Voidvelgr Chaosmachia", has a slightly different requirement and effect than the ones shown during the actual Duel. The text on it reads as follows:
