"Farewell, Tazaki" is the ninety-fifth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on February 4, 2024.
The 8.88 million Velgearians are nearing the end of their lifespan, and they want Tazaki to keep it a secret from Yudias. Tazaki agrees, and asks Asaka for help with this, but she vehemently refuses. Not wanting to give up, Tazaki challenges Asaka to a Duel!
Featured Duel: Galixon Tazaki vs Asaka Mutsuba[edit]
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Tazaki
Tazaki's hand contains "Police Scoop", "Digger Skipper", "Drilling Tractiger" and "Holy Drill". Tazaki draws "Super Pierce!!!". Tazaki Normal Summons "Police Scoop" (1500/0) and "Digger Skipper" (0/1400). Tazaki Tributes "Police Scoop" and "Digger Skipper" to Tribute Summon "Tractiger" (2500/1000). Tazaki activates the Equip Spell Card "Holy Drill", equipping it to a face-up Machine Type monster on his field to increase its ATK by 200 and allow it to inflict piercing battle damage. Tazaki equips "Holy Drill" to "Tractiger" ("Tractiger": 2500/1000 → 2700/1000). Tazaki Sets "Super Pierce!!!" in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 2: Asaka
Asaka's hand contains "Demolition Soldier Shokku Du", "Demolition Soldier Sakan Yasan", "Demolition Soldier High Kanko" and "Demolition Soldier Ashiba Bikke". Asaka draws "Demolition Wyvern Blasthurricane". Asaka Normal Summons "Ashiba Bikke" (100/1100). As Asaka has no other monsters on her field, she activates the effect of "Ashiba Bikke" to send the top two cards of her Deck to the Graveyard, and if all of those cards were Wyrm Type monsters, this turn she can treat it as two Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a monster in Attack Position. Asaka sends "Demolition Soldier Kasetsu Baiten" and "Demolition Soldier Haken Haken" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard. Asaka Tributes "Ashiba Bikke" to Tribute Summon "Blasthurricane" (2500/2000). Asaka activates the effect of "Blasthurricane", sending up to two Wyrm Type Normal Monsters from her hand to the Graveyard to return Spell/Trap Cards from Tazaki's field to the owner's hand equal to the number of monsters sent to the Graveyard this way, then she inflicts damage to Tazaki equal to the number of cards in his hand x 300. Asaka sends "Sakan Yasan" and "High Kanko" from her hand to the Graveyard and returns "Holy Drill" and Tazaki's face-down "Super Pierce!!!" from his field to his hand (Tazaki: 4000 → 3400 LP; "Tractiger": 2700/1000 → 2500/1000). Asaka Normal Summons "Shokku Du" (1000/1000). Asaka activates the effect of "Shokku Du", shuffling a Wyrm Type monster from her Graveyard into the Deck to increase the ATK of a face-up Wyrm Type monster on her field by 100 until the end of this turn, then if she shuffled a Normal Monster into the Deck this way, she can add a Normal Monster from her Graveyard to her hand. Asaka shuffles "High Kanko" from her Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Blasthurricane" ("Blasthurricane": 2500/2000 → 2600/2000), then adds "Sakan Yasan" from her Graveyard to her hand. Asaka Normal Summons "Sakan Yasan" (1300/800). "Blasthurricane" attacks and destroys "Tractiger" (Tazaki: 3400 → 3300 LP). "Sakan Yasan" and "Shokku Du" attack Tazaki directly (Tazaki: 3300 → 2000 → 1000 LP). As Asaka ends her turn, the ATK of "Blasthurricane" returns to normal ("Blasthurricane": 2600/2000 → 2500/2000).
Turn 3: Tazaki
Tazaki draws "Perfect Tractiger", "Stumbling Rock" and "Drill Tiger". Tazaki Normal Summons "Drill Tiger" (1000/500). As "Drill Tiger" was Normal Summoned this turn, Tazaki activates its effect to send the top two cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he has "Tractiger" in his Graveyard, he can add an EARTH Attribute Machine Type monster with 1500 or more ATK from his Graveyard to his hand. Tazaki sends "Quadcopter GA84" and "Pierce!" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Police Scoop" from his Graveyard to his hand. Tazaki Normal Summons "Police Scoop" (1500/0). Tazaki Tributes "Drill Tiger" and "Police Scoop" to Tribute Summon "Perfect Tractiger" (2500/1000). Tazaki activates the Spell Card "Super Pierce!!!", paying 2000 LP or sending a "Pierce!" from his hand to the Graveyard to allow up to three face-up monsters on his field to inflict piercing battle damage this turn, then if he has "Pierce!" in his Graveyard, he can change all Attack Position monsters on Asaka's field to face-up Defense Position. Tazaki sends "Holy Drill", whose name becomes "Pierce!" while in the hand or Graveyard, from his hand to the Graveyard and chooses "Perfect Tractiger", then changes "Shokku Du", "Blasthurricane" and "Sakan Yasan" to Defense Position. Tazaki Sets "Stumbling Rock" in his Spell & Trap Zone. The Continuous Effect of "Perfect Tractiger" prevents it from being destroyed by battle or Asaka's card effects while it is in Attack Position if Tazaki has "Pierce!" in his Graveyard, and if he has three or more "Pierce!" in his Graveyard, it can make a second and third attack each turn. "Perfect Tractiger" attacks and destroys "Blasthurricane", "Shokku Du" and "Sakan Yasan" (Asaka: 4000 → 3500 → 2000 → 300 LP).
Turn 4: Asaka
Asaka draws "Constructor Battler Big Roller", "Demolition Dragon Blasthamut", "Fusion", "Demolition Soldier Toby Shock" and "Demolition Soldier Hell Met". Asaka Normal Summons "Hell Met" (400/400) and "Toby Shock" (1500/0). As Asaka Normal Summoned a monster and she has two or more monsters on her field, Tazaki activates his face-down Trap Card "Stumbling Rock" to change all Attack Position monsters on Asaka's field to face-up Defense Position and prevent them from being Tributed for a Tribute Summon this turn. Tazaki changes "Hell Met" and "Toby Shock" to Defense Posiion. Asaka activates the Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from her field to the Graveyard as material. Asaka sends "Hell Met" and "Toby Shock" from her field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Demolition Emperor Blastkaiser" (2600/0) in Attack Position. Asaka activates the effect of "Blastkaiser", sending a Wyrm Type monster from her hand to the Graveyard to shuffle up to three cards from Tazaki's Graveyard into the Deck, then if she sent a Level 8 or higher monster to the Graveyard this way, it gains ATK equal to the number of cards shuffled into the Deck this way x 300 until the end of this turn. Asaka sends "Blasthamut" from her hand to the Graveyard and shuffles "Pierce!", "Holy Drill" and "Super Pierce!!!" from Tazaki's Graveyard into the Deck ("Blastkaiser": 2600/0 → 3500/0). "Blastkaiser" attacks and destroys "Perfect Tractiger" (Tazaki: 1000 → 0 LP).
