"The Last Dragon Chronicles" is the sixty-third episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on June 18, 2023.
Phaser uses Yuhi and the other carded people as hostages in order to pressure Yudias into helping out with Operation MIK. Yudias agonizes over what choice he should make, but upon learning that there is a way to return the carded people back to normal, he decides to face Phaser in a Duel, with the fate of all his friends on the line!

Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear vs Phaser Ryugu[edit]
This Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Phaser
Phaser's hand contains "Naked Abyss", "Violence Abyss", "Abysslayer Apsaras" and two copies of "Abysslayer Vodyanoy". Phaser Normal Summons two copies of "Vodyanoy" (1000/400). Phaser Tributes both copies of "Vodyanoy" to Tribute Summon "Apsaras" (2500/1500). Phaser Sets "Naked Abyss" and "Violence Abyss" in his Spell & Trap Zones.
Turn 2: Yudias
Yudias's hand contains "Recombination Galactica", "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord", "Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord [R]" and "Transamu Arrive". Yudias Maximum Summons "Magnum Overlord [L]" (800/0), "Magnum Overlord" (1900/0) and "Magnum Overlord [R]" (500/0) in Maximum Mode (3500). Yudias activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 600 until the end of this turn, then if it is in Maximum Mode, it cannot be destroyed by Phaser's card effects until the end of his next turn. Yudias sends "Transamu Rainac" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 4100). Yudias Sets "Transamu Arrive" and "Recombination Galactica" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Magnum Overlord" attacks and destroys "Apsaras" (Phaser: 4000 → 2400 LP). As Yudias ends his turn, the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" returns to normal ("Magnum Overlord": 4100 → 3500).
Turn 3: Phaser
Phaser draws "Abysslayer Makara", "Abyss Arms - Madness Shell", "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [L]", "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken" and "Abyssal Sea Dragon Abyss Kraken [R]". Phaser Maximum Summons "Abyss Kraken [L]" (2300/0), "Abyss Kraken" (2500/0) and "Abyss Kraken [R]" (2300/0) in Maximum Mode (4000). Phaser activates the effect of "Abyss Kraken [L]", shuffling up to five monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to decrease the ATK and DEF of a face-up monster on Yudias's field by the number of monsters shuffled into the Deck this way x 300 until the end of this turn, then if it is in Maximum Mode and Phaser has no monsters in his Graveyard, he can destroy a Spell/Trap Card on Yudias's field. Phaser shuffles "Apsaras" and two copies of "Vodyanoy" from his Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Magnum Overlord" ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 2600), then destroys Yudias's face-down "Transamu Arrive". As Phaser has no monsters in his Graveyard, he activates the Equip Spell Card "Abyss Arms - Madness Shell", sending a Sea Serpent Type monster from his hand to the Graveyard and equipping it to a face-up Sea Serpent Type monster on his field to allow to attack twice each turn, and inflict 300 damage to Yudias when it destroys his monsters by battle. Phaser sends "Makara" from his hand to the Graveyard and equips "Abyss Arms - Madness Shell" to "Abyss Kraken". "Abyss Kraken" attacks and destroys "Magnum Overlord" (Yudias: 4000 → 2600 → 2300 LP). As a monster on Yudias's field was destroyed by Phaser's attack, Yudias activates his face-down Trap Card "Recombination Galactica" to Special Summon a Galaxy Type Normal Monster from his Graveyard face-up to his field. Yudias Special Summons "Rainac" (1600/0) from his Graveyard in Defense Position. "Abyss Kraken" attacks and destroys "Rainac" (Yudias: 2300 → 2000 LP).
