A duelist of Team Ragnarok, the team most likely to win the WRGP.
Known by many as the "Norse God of Death".
A strong young man who is the inheritor of "Thor, Lord of the Aesir", one of the Three Aesir, and bears a Rune Eye on his left eye.

Needing a large amount of money to pay for his father's treatment, who had been seriously injured at the time he obtained Thor, he accepted Rex's and Yeager's offer of facing Jack, the King, in a rigged duel in exchange for a monetary reward.
He managed to save his father, but throwing away his pride as a duelist made him lose sight of himself and casted Thor's card away. He took to climbing mountains recklessly, as if looking for a place to die, until he got caught in an avalanche. With his life being spared because of his pride, he was told his destiny was to fight on as the inheritor of Thor, and got back on his feet in order to regain his pride as a duelist.
He is noticiably hostile towards Jack because of his life's circumstances, but Jack is completely unaware of the context behind their previous encounter.

He uses "Nordic" Decks centered on the use of "Nordic Beast" monsters.
His ace monster is of course "Thor, Lord of the Aesir".
