Appearance
Asaka closely resembles Asana Mutsuba from Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS. She is a slim pale-skinned girl with mauve eyes and gray hair that passes her shoulders. Similarly to Asana, Asaka dresses in a style based on equestrian riders, wearing a short white coat with silver buttons, a white collared shirt with a red cravat and a gold brooch in the shape of the Mutsuba Heavy Machinery logo, a black waistcoat, white riding pants, white gloves, and black heeled boots.
In the second season, Asaka also wears a sailor fuku uniform: a white blouse with a blue collar tied at the neck by a red ribbon, a pleated blue skirt, and calf-length white socks with white shoes.
Personality
As the self-proclaimed top elite of Mutsuba Town, Asaka is highly arrogant and entitled, making significant decisions on behalf of the town with little care for consequence or opposition, as her significant wealth often allows her to compensate many who voice opposition to her. Consequently Asaka is somewhat short-tempered and has little patience for riddles.
Despite her arrogance, Asaka is fiercely honorable and capable of compassion to those she deems close friends. While she has feelings for Yuga Ohdo, her recognition of Yuna Goha's feelings for Yuga causes her not to act on her own.
Biography
First Arc
Tell Kawai visited Asaka, apologizing for his intrusion, and Asaka asked him what his business was.[2] A Rush Duel between Yudias Velgear and Zuwijo zir Velgear had begun atop Mutsuba Tower, and Zuwijo had used the power of the Earthdamar - a substance Kawai had previously extracted from Yuhi Ohdo - to materialize and clad himself in his "Voidvelgr Requiem". The power was also being spread across Mutsuba Town by Mutsuba Tower's radio transmitter, resulting in monsters like Kawai's "Kappa Avenger" being partially materialized. After Asaka ordered Kawai to be concise, he explained that the soul of the Earthdamar's origin, Yuhi, had been drawn into "Voidvelgr Requiem", though Kawai wasn't sure what would happen to Yuhi. Though initially unsure what Kawai wanted her to do about the situation, Asaka took EX6 to Mutsuba Tower, where she faced off against Zuwijo's servant, Mitsuko Hiramori. Asaka easily withstood Mitsuko's attacks using EX6 and carved a portion of the tower away to extract the Earthdamar, successfully stopping it from materializing more monsters, though "Requiem" remained materialized with Yuhi's soul trapped inside. Asaka asked Kawai what would happen to Yuhi if Zuwijo won the Duel, and Kawai admitted that Yuhi's soul could remain trapped inside "Requiem" if it wasn't destroyed during the Duel. Fortunately Yudias was able to do so and defeated Zuwijo, and Asaka moved away from Mutsuba Tower once she noticed the phenomenon had stopped.[3]
Second Arc
Though the Earthdamar was of interest to Kawai, Asaka viewed it as an uninteresting and disgusting liquid and relinquished it to MIK.[4] She reappears again shortly after London Kirishima and Netsuzo Shinjitsu steal a UTS spaceship, using her Heavy Cavalry to catch Yuamu Ohdo who fell off the spaceship as it was mid-flight.[5]
Third Arc
After learning about the impending arrival of the Great King of Terror and gaining access to the spaceship that was hidden below Mutsuba Town, Asaka takes control over the city and forces Velgearians inside Valvelgear into manually generating power for space flight, putting her at odds with Yuhi Ohdo.[6] She was also present for the Friendship Rush Duel Tournament, but did not directly participate.
Fifth Arc
In the second season, Asaka is banished to the Alien Residential Area by MIK due to her affiliation with aliens, where she remains for two years. After MIK takes out Yuna Goha, she sets up a resistance group and raids MIK headquarters as an attempt to buy time for Yuamu and Yudias to infiltrate the Goha Company building. While Asaka and her team were successful in stalling for long enough for Yudias to pick up a Maximum Monster, she ends up being taken out by Energy Copyko.[7]
Deck
Asaka uses a Demolition Deck, comprised of FIRE Attribute Wyrm Type monsters and based on a strategy revolving around Normal Monsters. Her ace monsters have powerful effects to destroy her opponent's monsters and inflict damage for each monster they destroy, which she backs up with Equip Spell Cards.
