Brown

Brown, known as Yuiitsu Kurokawa in the Japanese version, is a character appearing in the Tag Force series. He is an Obelisk Blue student.

Appearances[edit]

Tag Force[edit]

Brown is found at the Obelisk Blue dorm or the Stadium, and is grouped with Truly, Celia, Seydina, Dante and Rock as each of them wields a Deck of one of the six Attributes. Brown is the group's DARK user.

Upon acquiring his Deck Recipe, Brown also gifts the player with a "Two-Mouth Darkruler" card.

Brown is the only student that does not take part in the Tag Force tournament.

Tag Force 3[edit]

In Obelisk Blue Syrus' third event, Brown and Dante Tag Duel against the player and Syrus.

Non-spawn[edit]

When a new storyline is started in Tag Force 2, the game checks if the number of duelists that have to be randomly placed and paired on the overworld is an even number or an odd number. If the number is odd, the game will force the number of characters to be even by making Brown not appear on the overworld.

If the player's save file has unlocked an even number of characters for random generation on the overworld, Brown can only appear while the player is partnered with a character that is not randomly generated on the overworld. Those characters would be those that appear only in specific areas at specific times (Lioside, Sadie and Dorothy), and those that appear only during random events in Tag Force 2 and do not appear on the overworld at all in Tag Force 3 (Inoso, Emperor.Umiuma, Mokuma, Sanzyudai Yuki, Senjome and Sironos).

In the Japanese version of Tag Force 3, Brown is set to not appear in the overworld while the player is partnered with the alternate version of Bastion Misawa. Brown will otherwise always appear in the overworld in all versions of Tag Force 3 regardless of whether the number of duelists generated is even or odd.

If the player chooses to partner with Brown and the game has to generate an odd number of opponents, one Tier 3 opponent will roam alone on the overworld. Trying to Tag Duel against that character will have the player and Brown Tag Duel against that character and Jaden Yuki, even if Jaden is not in that area of the map at the time.

Brown uses DARK Decks in every game. He mostly uses Fiend-Type monsters with disruptive battle-based effects in the first installment, while his Decks in the later games are more Beatdown-oriented and also feature "Virus" cards.
