"Heralds" deploy effects from both the Hand and the Field with the ability to deter the Opponent's actions.

They light the way to an ordained destination...

The Herald's Guidance is a Solo Mode Gate in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and focuses on the Herald archetype.

Like most Gates in Solo Mode, each Duel can be played with either the player's own Deck or a provided Loaner Deck fitting the theme of the Gate, with separate rewards for each. Completing this gate for the first time unlocks the "Miraculous Advent" Secret Pack for 24 hours.

Chapter 1: Scenario[edit]

Chapter 2: Practice[edit]

Learn the ins and outs of the "Herald" Deck.

This chapter serves as a tutorial for using Herald.

  • Reward: 150 LIGHT Orbs

Chapter 3: Duel 1[edit]

Loaner Deck[edit]

Use Cards like "Eva" and "Pot of Extravagance" to keep your hand filled with Cards that you can use to activate "Herald" Monster Effects. "Solemn Strike" can be a powerful trump card when you're almost out of Cards and your opponent is going on the offensive, or when your opponent uses a "Herald Monster Effect.

Opponent's Deck[edit]

A Fairy-type Deck focused on "Heralds," synergizing with "The Sanctuary in the Sky" and related cards. "Herald" Monsters can negate Effect activations when discarded from the hand, but if you do that too many times, you will leave yourself with no Monsters to Summon to the Field. Make sure you use their Effects in moderation.

Chapter 3.1 Locked[edit]

This chapter becomes available after completing the first Duel. It can be unlocked by spending 200 LIGHT Orbs.

Chapter 3.2 Duel 2[edit]

Loaner Deck[edit]

A Deck that combines "Heralds" and "Artifacts." Special Summon the "Artifact" Monsters you sent to the Graveyard to activate "Herald of Perfection" back onto your Field on your opponent's turn with "Call of the Haunted." You can turn the tides on your opponent even when it's their turn!

Opponent's Deck[edit]

A Deck that combines "Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended with "Herald" Cards. Just like the "Herald" Monsters, the powerful Ritual Monster "Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended" has an effect that negates an Effect activation by discarding from the hand. "Sprite's Blessing" allows you to Summon any LIGHT Ritual Monster, such as "Herald of Perfection." Take advantage of the Ritual Spell Cards at your disposal to take on your opponent!

Chapter 3.3: Duel 3[edit]

Loaner Deck[edit]

A Deck that uses "Meteonis Drytron" to Ritual Summon "Herald of Ultimateness" and "Herald of Perfection". This Deck is unique as it contains a multitude of support not only for the Ritual Summon of "Heralds," but also "Cyber Angel" and "Drytron" Monsters. Plan your strategies carefully, bearing in mind to keep your Tributes and Effect activation costs well-balanced!

Opponent's Deck[edit]

A Deck that combines "Heralds" and "The Agents." Leave the attacking to "Master Hyperion," a Monster with high ATK and an effect that destroys Cards, and when your opponent activates an Effect, negate it with "Herald of Perfection." The Effect of "The Agent of Creation - Venus" is also helpful for bringing out Materials for Link Summoning and Tributes for a Ritual Summon.

Chapter 4: Goal[edit]

This chapter acts as a Scenario.

  • Reward: 150 EARTH Orbs
