Lancers and Allies' Duel against Zarc is a battle in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime, between Zarc and the Lancers and their allies. As Zarc only focused on 2 opponents at a time, the Duel will be explained separately, with each upcoming Duelist(s) taking an Intrusion Penalty of 2000 LP.

Prior Events

After Yuya, who had absorbed the soul of Yuto, defeated Yuri who had absorbed the soul of Yugo moments beforehand. Zarc then took control of Yuya and used "Astrograph Sorcerer" to fuse his counterparts and dragons back into one, and started his rampage. Aster and Sora then stood against him first.

Part 1: Aster Phoenix and Sora Perse vs. Zarc

Turn 1: Zarc

Zarc activates "Supreme King Gate Zero" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 0) and "Supreme King Gate Infinity" (Left Pendulum Scale.png 13) in his Pendulum Zones. He Pendulum Summons two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" (1800/1200), both in Attack Position.

Turn 2: Aster
Aster activates "Polymerization", fusing "Destiny HERO - Drilldark" and "Destiny HERO - Decider" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Destiny HERO - Dystopia" (2800/2400) in Attack Position. As it was Fusion Summoned, the effect of "Dystopia" activates, letting Aster inflict damage to Zarc equal to the ATK of one of its Fusion Materials. Aster targets "Decider", but the Pendulum Effect of "Zero" reduces any damage Zarc would take to 0. The Pendulum effect of "Infinity" increases Zarc's LP by the amount he would have taken without the Pendulum Effect of "Zero" (4000 → 5600 LP).

Aster using D - Soul Burst.

"Dystopia" attacks a "Darkwurm", but Zarc activates the effect of "Darkwurm", letting him negate an attack once per turn as he controls another "Supreme King" monster. Aster activates "D - Soul Burst", halving the ATK of a "Destiny HERO" monster he controls and inflicting the lost ATK as damage to all players. He targets "Dystopia" ("Dystopia" 2800 → 1400). The Pendulum Effects of "Zero" and "Infinity" reduce the damage Zarc takes to 0 and increase his LP by the same amount (Zarc 5600 → 7000) (Aster 4000 → 2600). As its ATK or DEF was changed, Aster activates the effect of "Dystopia", letting him destroy a card on the field. He destroys a "Darkwurm". Aster Sets a card.

Turn 3: Sora

Sora activates "Frightfur Sanctuary" by sending a card from his hand and two "Frightfur" monsters from his Extra Deck to the Graveyard. He sends "Edge Imp Frightfuloid" in his hand and "Frightfur Bear" and "Frightfur Tiger" in his Extra Deck to the Graveyard. "Sanctuary" treats all Fusion Monsters Sora controls as "Frightfur" monsters. He then activates "Frightfur Fusion" to Fusion Summon a "Frightfur" Monster by banishing its Fusion Materials from his side of the field or his Graveyard. He banishes "Frightfuloid", treated as a "Frightfur" monster by its own effect, "Bear", and "Tiger" from his Graveyard to Fusion Summon "Frightfur Chimera" (2800/2000) in Attack Position. "Chimera" attacks and destroys "Darkwurm". The Pendulum Effects of "Zero" and "Infinity" reduce the damage to 0 and increase Zarc's LP by the same amount (Zarc 7000 → 8000). Sora Sets a card.

Turn 4: Zarc

Zarc Pendulum Summons the two copies of "Darkwurm" (1800/1200) from his Extra Deck in Attack Position. As a monster was Special Summoned while Aster controls a "Destiny HERO" monster, Aster activates his Set "D - Hyper Nova", destroying all monsters that were Special Summoned this turn. As a card or effect that would destroy an opponent's monster was activated while he controls a face-up "Frightfur" monster, Sora activates his Set "Frightfur Mad Parade", destroying all cards on Zarc's field and inflicting 500 damage to him for each monster destroyed. "Zero", "Infinity", and the two "Darkwurm" s are destroyed (Zarc 8000 → 6000).

As his cards were destroyed, Zarc activates the effect of "Astrograph Sorcerer" in his hand, Special Summoning it (2500/2000) in Attack Position and returning all cards destroyed this turn in the same Zone they were in before they were destroyed. Zarc places "Zero" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 0) and "Infinity" (Left Pendulum Scale.png 13) back in his Pendulum Zones and Special Summons the two copies of "Darkwurm". Zarc activates the second effect of "Astrograph Sorcerer", letting him banish "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon", "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon", and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" from his Deck, Extra Deck, field, and Graveyard to Integration Summon "Supreme King Dragon Zarc" from his Extra Deck (4000/4000) in Attack Position. As long as Zarc controls any monsters, the Pendulum Effect of "Supreme King Gate Zero" will prevent him from Pendulum Summon.

At this point, Shay Obsidian and Kite Tenjo join the Duel, taking the intrusion penalty (Shay/Kite: 4000 → 2000 LP). With Shay joining the Duel, the Field Spell Card "Crossover" is activated, as per the rules of an Action Duel. It will allow the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time.

As "Zarc" was Summoned, its effect activates, destroying all monsters his opponent controls control and inflicting damage to a player(s) who controlled those destroyed monster equal to the total ATK of the monsters destroyed. However, "Zarc" cannot attack the turn this effect was activated. "Dystopia" and "Chimera" are destroyed (Aster 2600 → 0, Sora 4000 → 0).

Aster defeated
Sora defeated

Part 2: Shay Obsidian and Kite Tenjo vs. Zarc

At this point, Zarc has 6000 LP, controls "Supreme King Dragon Zarc" (4000/4000) and two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" (1800/1200). He also has "Supreme King Gate Zero" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 0) and "Supreme King Gate Infinity" (Left Pendulum Scale.png 13) in his Pendulum Zones, and 1 card in his hand. And as long as Zarc controls any monsters, the effect of "Zero" will prevent him from using Pendulum Summon. Shay Obsidian and Kite Tenjo both have 5 cards in their hand and 2000 LP. "Crossover" is active on the field. As per the rules of an Action Duel. It will allow the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time.

Turn 5: Shay

Shay Normal Summons "Raidraptor - King's Lanius" (1300/???). He activates its effect, which lets him Special Summon a Level 4 or lower "Raidraptor" monster from his hand once per turn. Shay Special Summons "Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius" (1300/1600). As he controls "Vanishing Lanius", Shay Special Summons "Raidraptor - Fuzzy Lanius" (500/1500) from his hand in Attack Position via its own effect. Shay overlays his three Level 4 Winged Beast-Type monsters to Xyz Summon "Raidraptor - Rise Falcon" (100/2000) in Attack Position. As his opponent Xyz Summoned while Zarc controls "Supreme King Dragon Zarc", he activates the effect of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Dark Rebellion" in his Extra Deck, overlaying his two Level 4 "Darkwurms" to Xyz Summon (2500/2000) it in Attack Position

Shay activates the effect of "Rise Falcon", detaching an Overlay Unit to increase its ATK by the combined ATK of all Special Summoned monsters his opponent controls ("Rise Falcon": 100 → 6600). "Rise Falcon" attacks "Zarc", but due to the effect of "Dark Rebellion", Shay cannot attack other Xyz Monsters Zarc controls, as "Zarc" counts as an Xyz Monster. "Rise Falcon" attacks "Dark Rebellion", but Zarc activates the effect of "Dark Rebellion", detaching an Overlay Unit to reduce the ATK of the monster it battles to 0 and add the lost ATK to "Dark Rebellion" ("Rise Falcon": 6600 → 0, "Dark Rebellion": 2500 → 9100). As "Rise Falcon" would be destroyed by battle, Shay activates "Overlay Burst Armor" from his hand, detaching all Overlay Units from "Rise Falcon" to prevent it from being destroyed by that battle and reducing the battle damage to 0. Shay Sets two cards.

Turn 6: Kite

Kite preparing to take on "Dark Rebellion".

Kite Normal Summons "Cipher Wing" (1400/1200). As he controls a "Cipher Wing", Kite activates the effect of the other "Cipher Wing" in his hand, Special Summoning (1400/1200) in Attack Position. Kite activates the Continuous Spell Card "Double Exposure". He uses its effect, letting him double the Levels of two Level 6 or lower monsters with the same name he controls. He targets both "Cipher Wings" (both "Cipher Wings" 4 → 8). Kite overlays his two Level 8 monsters to Xyz Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon" (3000/2500) in Attack Position.

Zarc declares that his Monsters are unaffected by the effects of Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Monsters.

Kite activates the effect of "Cipher Dragon", detaching an Overlay Unit to take control of a monster his opponent controls until the End Phase. That monster's effects will be negated and it will be unable to attack directly, but its name and ATK will become the same as that of "Cipher Dragon". He tries to take control of "Dark Rebellion", but the effect of "Zarc" makes Zarc's monsters unaffected by the effects of Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monsters his opponents control. Kite Sets three cards.

Turn 7: Zarc

"Dark Rebellion" attacks "Cipher Dragon". Zarc activates its effect, detaching an Overlay Unit to reduce the ATK of the monster it battles to 0 and adding the lost ATK to "Dark Rebellion". ("Cipher Dragon": 3000 → 0 / "Dark Rebellion" 2500 → 5500). As an opponent's monster attacked, Shay activates his face-down "Rank-Up-Magic Devotion Force", allowing him to Rank-Up an Xyz Monster he controls and Xyz Summon another Xyz Monster 1 Rank higher while using the first monster as the Overlay Unit. Shay performs a Rank-Up Xyz Evolution, Ranking Up "Rise Falcon" to Xyz Summon "Raidraptor - Blaze Falcon" (1000/2000) in Attack Position.

As his opponent Special Summoned a Monster with the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic" card, Kite activates "Rank-Up-Magic Limitover Force" by paying half of his LP (Kite 2000 → 1000), and using "Cipher Dragon" as an Overlay Unit for the Xyz Summon of an Xyz Monster 1 Rank higher than it. Kite Ranks Up "Cipher Dragon" to Xyz Summon "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon" (4500/3000) in Attack Position. The last effect of "Limitover Force" multiplies the ATK of the Summoned monster by the number of "Rank-Up-Magic" cards activated this Duel, in this case two ("Neo Cipher Dragon" 4500 → 9000). As his opponent Special Summoned a Monster with the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic" card, Shay activates his own "Rank-Up-Magic Limitover Force", paying half of his LP (Shay 2000 → 1000) to Rank Up "Blaze Falcon" and Xyz Summon "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" (2000/3000) in Attack Position, with its ATK multiplied by 3 as 3 "Rank-Up-Magic" cards were activated this Duel ("Revolution Falcon" 2000 → 6000).

Kite activates his Set "Rank-Up Gravity", which forces Zarc to only attack Monsters Special Summoned by "Rank-Up-Magic" cards. At the end of the Battle Phase, Kite can banish all of Zarc's monsters that did not attack. Zarc activates the effect of "Dark Rebellion", returning it to his Extra Deck to Special Summon two "Supreme King Servant Dragon" monsters from his Graveyard and reduce the ATK of all Xyz Monsters his opponents control to 0, Zarc Special Summons the two "Darkwurms" ("Neo Cipher Dragon" 9000 → 0, "Revolution Falcon" 6000 → 0).

Zarc destroying the Action Cards.

Both "Darkwurms" attack "Neo Cipher Dragon" and "Revolution Falcon", but Shay and Kite find and tries to activate the Action Cards "Miracle" and "Evasion", respectively, the former to prevent Shay's monster from being destroyed by that battle and halving the battle damage and the latter to negate the attack. As card(s) were added to his opponent's hands outside of the Draw Phase, Zarc activates the effect of "Zarc" to destroy those cards.

At this point, Gong Strong and Jack Atlas join the Duel, taking the intrusion penalty (Gong/Jack: 4000 → 2000 LP).

The attacks of both "Darkwurms" continue, and "Neo Cipher Dragon" and "Revolution Falcon" are destroyed (Shay: 1000 → 0 LP; Kite: 1000 → 0 LP).

Part 3: Gong Strong and Jack Atlas vs. Zarc

At this point, Zarc has 6000 LP and controls "Supreme King Dragon Zarc" (4000/4000) and two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" (1800/1200). He also has "Supreme King Gate Zero" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 0) and "Supreme King Gate Infinity" (Left Pendulum Scale.png 13) in his Pendulum Zones, and 2 cards in his hand. Gong Strong and Jack Atlas both have 5 cards in their hand and 2000 LP. "Crossover" is active on the field.

Turn 8: Jack

Jack draws "Dark Resonator". As Jack controls no monsters, he Special Summons "Red Gargoyle" (1200/???) from his hand via its own effect. He then Normal Summons "Red Resonator" (600/200). Jack activates the effect of "Gargoyle", allowing him to double the Level of a monster he controls. He doubles the Level of "Resonator". Jack tunes the Level 4 "Gargoyle" with the Level 4 Tuner monster "Red Resonator" to Synchro Summon "Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend" (3000/2000) in Attack Position. As his opponent Synchro Summoned while Zarc controls "Zarc", he activates the effect of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Clear Wing" in his Extra Deck, Tributing two "Supreme King Servant Dragon" monsters he controls to Synchro Summon it in Attack Position (2500/2000).

Clear Wing's effect.

As "Clear Wing" was Synchro Summoned, Zarc activates its effect, negating the effects of all monsters his opponent controls, and destroying them. Jack activates the effect of "Brutal Red" in his hand, sending it to the Graveyard as a "Red" monster would be destroyed. This turn, it cannot be destroyed and it gains 1000 ATK. Jack targets "Scarlight" (3000 → 4000). "Scarlight" attacks "Clear Wing". As "Clear Wing" is battling, Zarc activates its effect to negate the attack, destroy the opponent's batting monster, and inflict damage to Jack equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster. "Scarlight" is not destroyed due to the effect of "Brutal Red". Jack Sets a card.

Turn 9: Gong

File:Gong with his Superheavy Samurais.jpg
Gong standing with his "Superheavy Samurai" monsters, up against the Supreme King Dragon.

Gong Normal Summons "Superheavy Samurai Battleball" (100/800). He Special Summons "Superheavy Samurai Hexagon" (600/???) from its hand by its effect. Gong tunes the Level 6 "Hexagon" with the Level 2 Tuner monster "Battleball" to Synchro Summon "Superheavy Samurai Swordsmith" (0/2400) in Defense Position. As "Swordsmith" was Special Summoned, Gong activates its effect to Special Summon as many "Superheavy Samurai" monster from his hand as possible. Gong Special Summons "Superheavy Samurai Blue Brawler" (0/2000), "Superheavy Samurai Swordsman" (1000/1800), and "Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei" (1000/3500), all in Defense Position.

Turn 10: Zarc

"Supreme King Servant Dragon Clear Wing" empowered by "Supreme King Violent Spirit", and is about to bring destruction.

Zarc equips "Clear Wing" with "Supreme King Violent Spirit". "Violent Spirit" causes Zarc to change an effect of the equipped monster that targets only one of his opponent's monsters to affect all monsters his opponents control instead. "Clear Wing" attacks "Benkei", with Zarc activating the former's effect to destroy "Benkei" and inflict its ATK as damage. The effect of "Violent Spirit" cause the effect of "Clear Wing" to affect all opposing monsters instead. As an effect would destroy cards on the field, Gong activates the effect of "Superheavy Samurai Bushin Fudomyo'o" in his hand by Tributing a "Superheavy Samurai" monster he controls to Special Summon it from his hand. Gong Tributes "Swordsman" to Special Summon "Fudomyo'o" (1000/3000) in Defense Position.

As "Fudomyo'o" was Special Summoned by its own effect, the Battle Phase ends. Gong activates the effect of "Fudomyo'o", allowing him to prevent two monsters he controls from being destroyed while it is face-up on the field until the end of the turn. He targets "Fudomyo'o" and "Scarlight". The effect of "Clear Wing" continues and "Benkei", "Blue Brawler", and "Swordsmith" are destroyed. The sum of their ATK is 1000 (Gong / Jack: 2000 → 1000 LP).

Turn 11: Jack

Jack activates the Trap Card "Vision Synchro", allowing him to Synchro Summon a monster using monsters from his hand, but the Summoned monster will return to the Extra Deck during the End Phase. Jack double tunes the Level 4 "Red Sprinter" with the Level 3 Tuner monsters "Dark Resonator" and "Net Resonator" from his hand to Synchro Summon "Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend" in Attack Position (3500/3000). As "Net Resonator" was used for a Synchro Summon, its effect prevents Jack from taking effect damage while he controls the Summoned monster. Gong activates the effect of "Fudomyo'o" to prevent "Scarlight" and "Tyrant" from being destroyed this turn. "Scarlight" attacks "Clear Wing", but Zarc activates the effect of "Clear Wing" to negate the attack, destroy "Scarlight", and inflict its ATK as damage. "Scarlight" is not destroyed, due to the effect of "Fudomyo'o". The effect of "Supreme King Violent Spirit" makes the effect of "Clear Wing" affect all opposing monsters instead. "Fudomyo'o" is destroyed. (Gong: 1000 → 0 LP).

Gong defeated.

"Tyrant" attacks "Clear Wing" and destroys it. The Pendulum Effect of "Supreme King Gate Zero" prevents Zarc from taking damage, while the Pendulum Effect of "Supreme King Gate Infinity" increases his LP by the damage he would have taken (Zarc: 6000 → 7000 LP). Due to the effect of "Vision Synchro", "Tyrant" returns to Jack's Extra Deck during his End Phase.

Turn 12: Zarc
At this point, Sylvio Sawatari and Crow Hogan join the Duel, taking the intrusion penalty (Sylvio / Crow: 4000 → 2000 LP

"Zarc" attacks and destroys "Scarlight". (Jack: 1000 → 0 LP). As "Supreme King Dragon Zarc" destroyed an opponent's monster by battle, Zarc Special Summons two "Supreme King Servant Dragon" monsters in his Extra Deck in Defense Position. Zarc Special Summons two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm". Zarc Sets three cards.

Jack defeated.

Part 4: Sylvio Sawatari and Crow Hogan vs. Zarc

At this point, Zarc has 7000 LP and controls "Supreme King Dragon Zarc" (4000/4000) and two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" (1800/1200). He also has "Supreme King Gate Zero" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 0) and "Supreme King Gate Infinity(Left Pendulum Scale.png 13) in his Pendulum Zones, no card in his hand and 3 set cards in his Spell/Trap Zone. Sylvio Sawatari and Crow Hogan both have 5 cards in their hand and 2000 LP. "Crossover" is active on the field.

Turn 13: Crow

Crow prepares to take on the Supreme King Dragon.

Crow Normal Summons "Blackwing - Kochi the Daybreak" (700/1500). As the only monster he controls is a "Blackwing" monster, Crow Special Summons "Blackwing - Gladius the Midnight Sun" (800/1500) from his hand via its own effect. Crow tunes his Level 3 "Gladius" with his Level 4 "Kochi" to Synchro Summon "Assault Blackwing - Raikiri the Rain Shower" (2600/2000) in Attack Position. As his opponent Synchro Summoned while Zarc controls "Supreme King Dragon Zarc", Zarc activates the effect of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Clear Wing" in his Graveyard by Tributing two "Supreme King Servant Dragon" monsters he controls to Special Summon it in Attack Position (2500/2000). As "Clear Wing" was Synchro Summoned, Zarc activates its effect, negating the effects of all monsters his opponent controls, and destroying them. "Raikiri" is destroyed, but Crow activates "Black Feather Illusion" from his hand as a "Blackwing" Synchro Monster was destroyed. He Special Summons "Raikiri" from the Graveyard with its effects negated.

"Raikiri" attacks "Clear Wing". As "Clear Wing" is battling, Zarc activates its effect to negate the attack, destroy the opponent's batting monster, and inflict damage to Crow equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster. "Raikiri" is destroyed, but Crow activates "Black Feather Reverse" as he would take damage during a battle involving "Blackwing" monster. The battle damage is reduced to 0 and Crow can Special Summon a "Blackwing" monster from his Extra Deck with ATK equal to the damage he would've taken, which is 2600. Crow Special Summons "Assault Blackwing - Chidori the Rain Sprinkling" (2600/2000) in Attack Position. "Chidori" gains 300 ATK for each "Blackwing" monster in his Graveyard ("Chidori" 2600 → 3500). "Chidori" attacks and destroys "Clear Wing". Crow activates the effect of "Black Feather Illusion" in his Graveyard, banishing it to negate a Spell effect during a battle involving "Blackwing" monster. The effect of "Supreme King Gate Zero" is negated (Zarc: 7000 → 6000).

Crow and "Raikiri" against the Supreme King Dragon.

Zarc activates his Set "Supreme King Dance", forcing "Chidori" to attack once again. "Chidori" attacks "Zarc" and is destroyed (Crow: 2000 → 1500 LP). As "Zarc" destroyed an opponent's monster by battle, Zarc Special Summons two copies "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" from his Extra Deck. As "Chidori" was destroyed, Crow can Special Summon a Winged-Beast type Synchro Monster from his Graveyard. Crow Special Summons "Raikiri" in Attack Position. Crow activates the effect of "Raikiri" to destroy cards on the field equal to the number of "Blackwing" monsters he controls. He tries to destroy "Supreme King Dance", but Zarc activates the effect of "Dance", preventing it from being destroyed by a card effect once per turn.

Turn 14: Sylvio
Sylvio activates "Abyss Actor - Evil Heel" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 1) and "Abyss Actor - Funky Comedian" (Left Pendulum Scale.png 8) in his Pendulum Zones. He then Pendulum Summons "Abyss Actor - Superstar" (2500/1800), "Abyss Actor - Wild Hope", (1600/1200) and "Abyss Actor - Leading Lady" (1500/1000), all in Attack Position. As his opponent Pendulum Summoned Pendulum Monsters Zarc activates the effect of the "Supreme King Servant Dragon Odd-Eyes" in his Deck, Tributing two "Supreme King Servant Dragon" monsters to Special Summon it. He Tributes the two "Darkwurms" to Special Summon it in Attack Position (2500/2000). Sylvio activates the effect of "Superstar" to add an "Abyss Script" from his Deck to his hand, once per turn. He adds "Abyss Script - Rise of the Abyss King". As a card was added to his opponent's hand outside of the Draw Phase, Zarc activates the effect of "Zarc" to destroy that card.

File:Sylvio expolits Zarc's effect.jpg
Sylvio managed to exploit "Supreme King Dragon Zarc's" effect.

Sylvio activates the Continuous Spell Card "Abyss Script - Abyss Entertainment" and activates its effect, Tributing an "Abyss Actor" monster to Set an "Abyss Script" card from his Graveyard to his field. Sylvio tributes "Leading Lady" to Set "Rise of the Abyss King". Sylvio activates it, which lets him destroy cards on the field up to the number of "Abyss Actor" monsters he controls, with Zarc being unable to activate cards and effects in response as Sylvio controls a Level 7 o higher "Abyss Actor" monster. Sylvio tries to destroy "Zarc" and "Odd-Eyes", but the effect of "Odd-Eyes" causes the first Pendulum Monster card(s) on the field that would be destroyed to not be destroyed. Sylvio activates the effect of "Abyss Entertainment" again, by Tributing "Wild Hope" and Setting "Abyss King" again. Sylvio activates "Rise of the Abyss King" and tries to destroy "Zarc". As there are Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Monsters in the Graveyards or banished, "Zarc" cannot be destroyed and is unaffected by any effect that would make it leave the field, so the effect fails.

At this point, Leo Akaba joins the Duel, taking the intrusion penalty (Leo: 4000 → 2000 LP).

Zarc activates the last effect of "Supreme King Dance", sending it to the Graveyard to force "Raikiri" and "Superstar" to attack "Zarc". "Zarc" destroys both monsters (Crow: 1500 → 100 LP, Sylvio: 2000 → 500 LP). The effect of "Odd-Eyes" doubles all battle damage Zarc's opponent(s) take from battles involving a Pendulum Monster he controls (Crow: 100 → 0 LP, Sylvio: 500 → 0 LP).

Part 5: Leo Akaba vs. Zarc

Leo Akaba, against Zarc and the Supreme King Dragon.

At this point, Zarc has 6000 LP and controls "Supreme King Dragon Zarc" (4000/4000) and two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" (1800/1200). He also has "Supreme King Gate Zero" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 0) and "Supreme King Gate Infinity(Left Pendulum Scale.png 13) in his Pendulum Zones, no card in his hand and 2 set cards in his Spell/Trap Zone. Leo Akaba has 5 cards in his hand and 2000 LP. "Crossover" is active on the field.

Turn 15: Leo
Leo activates "Spirit Collapse", paying 1000 LP (Leo: 2000 → 1000 LP) to send a Fusion Monster from his Extra Deck to the Graveyard. He sends "Master Spirit Tech Force - Pendulum Ruler".

At this point Declan Akaba joins the Duel, taking the intrusion penalty (Declan: 4000 → 2000 LP).

"The same trick does not work twice" - Natural Energy Cards destroyed by "Supreme King Brutality".

Zarc activates his Set "Supreme King Brutality" to look at Leo's hand and send a number of cards in it to the Graveyard, equal to the number of "Supreme King" cards he controls and inflict 300 Damage to Leo for each sent card. Zarc chooses to send "En Birds", "En Flowers", "En Moon", and "En Winds" to the Graveyard (Leo: 1000 → 0 LP).

Leo defeated.

Part 6: Declan Akaba vs. Zarc

At this point, Zarc has 6000 LP and controls "Supreme King Dragon Zarc" (4000/4000) and two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" (1800/1200). He also has "Supreme King Gate Zero" (Right Pendulum Scale.png 0) and "Supreme King Gate Infinity(Left Pendulum Scale.png 13) in his Pendulum Zones, no card in his hand and 1 set cards in his Spell/Trap Zone. Declan Akaba has 5 cards in his hand and 2000 LP. "Crossover" is active on the field.

Turn 16: Declan

"D/D Savant Dirac" and "D/D Savant Schrödinger", preparing the chain of summonings.

Declan draws "D/D Savant Schrödinger" and subsequently activates it (Right Pendulum Scale.png 2) and "D/D Savant Dirac" (Left Pendulum Scale.png 8) in his Pendulum Zones. He Pendulum Summons "D/D Nighthowl" (600/300), "D/D Vice Typhon" (2300/2800), and two copies of "D/D Savant Nikola" (2000/2000), all in Attack Position. Declan overlays his two Level 6 "Nikola" to Xyz Summon "D/D/D Wave High King Executive Caesar" (2800/1800) in Attack Position. He then tunes his Level 7 "Vice Typhon" with his Level 3 Tuner monster "Nighthowl" to Synchro Summon "D/D/D Gust High King Executive Alexander" (3000/2500) in Attack Position. Declan activates the effect of "Vice Typhon" as it was sent to the Graveyard this turn, allowing him to banish "Typhon" and other appropriate Fusion Materials to Fusion Summon a "D/D/D" Fusion Monster. He banishes "Typhon and "Nighthowl" to Fusion Summon "D/D/D Flame High King Executive Genghis" (2800/2400) in Attack Position. The effect of "Alexander" doubles its own ATK, as there are two or more "D/D" monster on the field other than itself ("Alexander" 3000 → 6000).

Declan activates the effect of "Genghis", allowing him to negate a number of Spell/Trap Cards Zarc controls, up to the number of other "D/D" monsters he controls, until the Standby Phase. Declan negates the effects of "Supreme King Gate Zero" and "Supreme King Gate Infinity". Zarc activates the effect of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Odd-Eyes" by adding itself to his Extra Deck, face-up, and Special Summon two other "Supreme King Servant Dragon" Pendulum Monsters from his Extra Deck. As an effect that would Summon a monster was activated, Declan activates the effect of "Caesar", detaching an Overlay Unit to negate the effect and add the ATK of one of those monsters that would be Summoned to its ATK until the End Phase. Declan chooses a copy "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" ("Caesar" 2800 → 4600 / ORU 2 → 1). He then activates the effect of "Caesar" as its ATK increased by its effect, detaching an Overlay Unit to give the increased ATK to another "D/D" monster the controls until the End Phase. He targets "Genghis". ("Genghis" 2800 → 4600 / "Caesar" ORU 1 → 0).

Beating up Supreme King Dragon Zarc, are...
"Executive Genghis"
"Executive Caesar"
"Executive Alexander"

"Genghis", "Caesar", and "Alexander" attack "Supreme King Dragon Zarc". As there are Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Monsters banished or in the Graveyards. "Zarc" cannot be destroyed and is unaffected by any effect that would make it leaves the field (Zarc 6000 → 5400 → 4800 → 2800 LP). During Declan's End Phase, as Zarc took 2000 or more Battle Damage from one attack while he controls "Zarc", Zarc activates "Supreme King's Wrath". Zarc destroys all monsters he controls, except "Zarc". He then Special Summon "Supreme King Servant Dragon Odd-Eyes" (2500/2000), "Supreme King Servant Dragon Dark Rebellion" (2500/2000), "Supreme King Servant Dragon Clear Wing" (2500/2000), and "Supreme King Servant Dragon Starving Venom" (2800/2000) from his Extra Deck and/or Graveyard, ignoring their Summon conditions and attach two copies of "Supreme King Servant Dragon Darkwurm" from his Extra Deck or Graveyard to "Dark Rebellion" as its Overlay Units. The effect of "Caesar" ends and the ATK of "Caesar" and "Genghis" returns to normal ("Caesar" and "Genghis" 4600 → 2800)

Turn 17: Zarc

"Clear Wing" attacks "Alexander". As "Clear Wing" is battling, Zarc activates its effect to negate the attack, destroy the opponent's batting monster, and inflict damage to Declan equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster. "Alexander" is destroyed, but as Declan would take effect damage, he activates the Pendulum Effect of "Dirac", Special Summoning it from his Pendulum Zone in Defense Position (800/1600). As "Dirac" was Special Summoned, its monster effect reduces that damage to 0. "Dark Rebellion" attacks "Caesar", with Zarc activating the effect of "Dark Rebellion" during damage calculation, detaching an Overlay Unit to reduce the ATK of the monster it battles to 0 and add the lost ATK to "Dark Rebellion" ("Caesar": 2800 → 0 ATK; "Dark Rebellion": 2500 → 5300 ATK). As Declan would take battle damage, he activates the Pendulum Effect of "Schrödinger", reducing the battle damage to 0 and Special Summoning it from his Pendulum Zone in Defense Position (600/2400). "Caesar" is destroyed.

Zarc activates the effect of "Starving Venom", allowing it to negate and copy the effects of a monster on the field or Graveyard. Zarc negates "Alexander". The effect of "Starving Venom" gained from "Alexander" doubles its own ATK there are two or more "D/D" monsters on the field other than itself ("Starving Venom" 2800 → 5600). "Starving Venom" attacks and destroys "Genghis", but Declan activates the effect of "Schrödinger", as he would take battle damage, reducing that damage to 0. "Odd-Eyes" attacks and destroys "Dirac". The effect of "Starving Venom" grants monsters he controls the ability to inflict Piercing Damage. The effect of "Odd-Eyes" doubles any battle damage his opponent takes from battles involving Pendulum Monsters Zarc controls. (Declan 2000 → 200). "Zarc" attacks "Schrödinger".

At this point, Riley/Ray enters the Duel and takes the Intrusion Penalty. (Ray: 4000 → 2000)

"Schrödinger" is destroyed. With the effect of both "Starving Venom" and "Odd-Eyes" granted to "Zarc", "Zarc" inflicts double piercing damage (Declan 200 → 0).

As there are three or more Xyz Monster in any Graveyard or banished while she controls "En Flowers", Ray activates her Set "En Birds", which treats all Xyz Monsters in the Graveyard, are banished, or on the field, as Normal Monsters, and negates their effects. As there are three or more Synchro Monsters in any player's that are banished or in the Graveyard while she controls "En Birds", Ray activates her Set "En Winds", which treats all Synchro Monsters in any player's Graveyard, are banished, or on the field, as Normal Monsters, and negates their effects.

As there are three or more Fusion Monsters in any player's Graveyard or are banished while she controls "En Winds", Ray activates her Set "En Moon", which treats all Fusion Monsters in any player's Graveyard, are banished, or on the field, as Normal Monsters, and negates their effects. (Zarc 2800 → 1000 LP)

At this point. Yuya suppresses Zarc and continues the Duel in his place while using his cards.
