Aster Phoenix, known as Edo Phoenix (エド・フェニックス, Edo Fenikkusu) in the Japanese version, is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force video game series. This is a video game depiction of Aster Phoenix, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.

Tag Force 2

A second year student in Duel Academy's Obelisk Blue Dorm.
Also a member of the Duel Pro League.

Being a pro duelist, Aster has no need at first to join the duelist training school, Duel Academy. He only enters to search for clues to the identity of the person who, when he was still a child, kidnapped his father.

When he first appears and meets Jaden, he only pretends to be a very polite new student. This is typical of Aster who often acts in a very calculating way. We also learn that he is extremely competitive.
In word and deed, he acts in a very cold manner. Though he worries often about his good friend Sartorius, and tries very hard to rescue his companion from the strange light which was taken over him.
When he duels, Aster places great faith in his Destiny Heroes, cards which his father left him. When he loses, he says it's only his fault as an incomplete duelist and not because of anything to do with the Destiny Heroes themselves.
Having a strong personality with a lot of conviction, he'll never betray anyone or anything that he at one time believes in.
Looking at this, if he ever opens up to you, there's a good chance he'll become a really close friend.

His Deck is built around the Destiny Heroes cards left behind by his father.
As Aster often says, there are many Destiny Hero cards with the power to decide the future. When he uses a well planned out strategy to defeat an opponent, it's as if that opponent is actually being manipulated by the Destiny Hero cards.

He doesn't show any interest in girls, since he always focuses on finding the person responsible for taking his father away from him. When the kidnapper's identity is revealed, Aster finally has time to look for love. It will be really exciting to see if he goes for it or not. Especially since he is pretty good looking.

For food, he likes all kinds of meat, with steak being his favorite thing to eat.

Being a professional duelist, he had no need to attend a vocational school such as Duel Academy in the first place, but he enrolled as he was looking for clues that could help him find the person that killed his father during his childhood.

His personality is competitive and defiant, but he can also be very calculating, as he first approached Judai while acting as a new student that was simply polite.
He duels using Decks focused on Destiny Heroes, left behind for him by his father.

While he is well-known for his cold disposition, he cares deeply for his friend Takuma Saiou, and places his full trust in his father's cards, claiming that "the Destiny Heroes weren't defeated, I'm just not experienced enough yet" when he loses a duel, which makes him come across as a person with strong convictions that never turns his back on anything or anyone he believes in, no matter what.
