"The Events After The Fact" is the third episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime.

Astral's been unable to leave since Yuma Dueled Shark, so, despite his reluctance, he's begun living with Yuma. At an inconvenient time, Akari Tsukumo has trouble when her PC she uses as a stay-at-home reporter crashes. When her big scoop is deleted as a result of Yuma's bumbling, she orders Yuma to find an alternate scoop she can use for another manuscript. When Yuma goes into town, the traffic lights go nuts, causing downtown to fall into chaos. Yuma looks for the criminal who spread the computer virus that caused all this chaos.

Featured Duels

Yuma Tsukumo vs. Toro

Duel is shown from an unspecified turn.

Yuma has nothing on his field and 100 Life Points, while Toro has "Bugman X" (0/2000), "Bugman Y" (1400/1600), and Bugman (100/100), all in Attack Position.

Toro's turn
"Bugman X" attacks directly (Yuma 100 → 0)[Notes 1]

Yuma Tsukumo vs. Professor Ukyo

Professor Ukyo's turn
Professor Ukyo Sets a monster.

Yuma's turn
Yuma Normal Summons "Gagaga Magician" (1500/1000) in Attack Position and attacks Ukyo's Set monster. It is "Bugman X" (0/2000), so Yuma loses 500 Life Points (Yuma 4000 → 3500).

Professor Ukyo's turn
Professor Ukyo Normal Summons "Bugman Y" (1400/1600) in Attack Position and then activates "Bug Load", letting both players Special Summon a Level 4 monster from their hands. Yuma's hand contains "Unprepared Danger", "Gogogo Golem", "Ganbara Knight", "Thunder Short" and "Zubaba Knight". Ukyo Special Summons "Bugman Z" (0/1500) in Attack Position, while Yuma does the same with "Gogogo Golem" (1800/1500). Ukyo overlays his three monsters to Exceed Summon "No. 34 Electronic Computer-Beast Tera Byte" (0/2900) in Defense Position. Ukyo uses the effect of "Tera Byte", sending the overlaid "Bugman Y" to the Graveyard to take control of "Gogogo Golem". "Gogogo Golem" attacks and destroys "Gagaga Magician" (Yuma 3500 → 3200).

Duel continues in the next episode.
