Action Card
Action Cards are cards used exclusively in Action Duels, which appear in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime.
When an Action Duel begins, Action Cards are spread all over the Dueling Field. The Duelists search for them during the Duel, and if they find an Action Card they can add it to their hand or activate it. Duelists can only hold on to one Action Card at a time. As they are added to their hand, Action Cards can be used to pay for discarding effects, so if a card effect requires multiple discards to activte, a Duelist can quickly find and discard consecutive Action Cards to preserve their hand. Action Cards can be activated from the hand during either player's turn.
As of now, all 'Action Spell' cards have a beneficial effect to the player, while 'Action Trap' cards activate automatically upon being picked up and have a negative effect to the player.
So far, all revealed Action Spell Cards feature a black silhouette-like figure.
Action Cards list
Spells:
- Avoid: Negates an attack.
- Miracle: Prevents one of the controller's monsters from begin destroyed by battle, and halves the battle damage from battles involving that monster.
Traps:
- Break Shot: Reduces the ATK of one monster you control by 900.
- Jump Shot: Reduces the ATK of one monster you control by 400.
