Unity Summon |
A Unity Summon, known as an Integration Summon in the Japanese version, is a method of Special Summoning a hybrid Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Pendulum Monster from the Extra Deck. This type of Summon was performed by Z-ARC to Summon "Supreme King Z-ARC" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime.[1]
It is not actually truly a type of Summoning in its own right, as Z-ARC was merely using the monster effect of "Astrograph Sorcerer". When the Summoning is performed in a Duel, dark red clouds surround Z-ARC and red lightning begins to strike from them. Z-ARC arises into the clouds, and his dragon form materializes within them, before beating the clouds away to reveal itself.
Trivia[edit]
- The term "Integrate" (Tōgō) is also used to describe the reunion of the Four Dimensions and Z-ARC and Ray Akaba's Dimensional counterparts. In the dub, the term "reunite" is applied to these events, tying in to the English Summoning name.
- The term "Unity Summon" is only used in the official English subs; the Summoning goes unnamed in the dub itself, where Z-ARC simply says "Let us reunite, reunite as one!"
