The backing of an Action Card.

An Action Card exists inside Action Duels on the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime.

Action Cards being spread in the field.

Similarly to Speed Spell Cards When an Action Duel begins, Action Cards are spread all over the Dueling Field. While they Duel, the Duelists search for them, and once they find an Action Card, they can add it to their hand or activate it. Duelists can only hold on to one Action Card at a time. As they are added to their hand, Action Cards can be used to pay for discarding effects, so a Duelist can quickly find and discard consecutive Action Cards if it requires more than one to preserve their hand.

So far, all revealed Action Cards are Spell Cards, and some of them like Avoid have effects more related to the Action Duel nature by letting the user "dodge" attacks, while others like Miracle have more standarized effects working like Half Unbreak. Worth of note is that so far all revealed Action Cards can be used during the opponent's turn without being set, unlike Quick-Play Spell Cards.

Currently all action cards features a black silhouette-like figure
