Jesse Anderson, known as Johan Andersen (ヨハン・アンデルセン, Yohan Anderusen) in the Japanese version, is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force video game series. This is a video game depiction of Jesse Anderson, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.

Tag Force 2

Jesse is one of the Tier 1 characters the player can have as a partner right from the start of the game.

During the story for Tier 2 and Tier 3 characters, Jesse is dueled twice.

The player can Tag Duel against Jesse and Tyranno as part of an optional random event in the Cliff.

Tag Force 3

Jesse is now a Tier 2 character, being unlockable as a partner after finishing one storyline.

Tag Force 2

A third year student from North Academy.
He enters Duel Academy as an exchange student.

Jesse is generally easygoing just like Jaden.
But, compared to Jaden who doesn't ponder things deeply, he is a little bit more thoughtful.
He also can be too frank at times, and says some wild things in the heat of the moment. He once tells Hassleberry that any follower of Jaden's should be one of his followers too.
He quickly becomes good friends with Jaden, seeing that, in the amount of enthusiasm they both put into their dueling, they have a whole lot in common.

Jesse uses a crystal-themed Rainbow Deck. Its main strength comes from the very powerful Monster Cards it contains.
These monsters, the Crystal Beasts, have a special effect which turns them into a Continuous Spell Card whenever they are destroyed. Such tenacity makes them very difficult to play against.
Jesse always likes to see the full potential of whomever he duels, so, besides some Counter Cards, he places no other cards with destroying effects in his Deck.
At first look, such a strategy might seem foolish and reckless, but, in fact, Jesse can use this Deck to win, proving he's a very skilled duelist.
He thinks of the Crystal Beasts as if they're his family. The strong bond he has with these monsters is surely one of the major reasons behind his powerful dueling.

Nobody knows what kind of girls he likes. If the right young lady does come on the scene though, we wonder if the Crystal Beasts will then call a family meeting...

As for food, Jesse likes to eat bread stuffed with various unusual fillings.

遊城（ゆうき）十代（じゅうだい）に似（に）た能天気（のうてんき）なタイプであるが、物事（ものごと）を深（ふか）く考（かんが）えない十代（じゅうだい）に比（くら）べて、多少（たしょう）は思慮（しりょ）深（ぶか）いところがある。
しかしながら剣山（けんざん）に対（たい）して「十代（じゅうだい）の子分（こぶん）なら俺（おれ）の子分（こぶん）でもあるし」などというかなり乱暴（らんぼう）な理論（りろん）を展開（てんかい）したりと天真爛漫（てんしんらんまん）すぎる一面（いちめん）も覗（のぞ）かせる。
十代（じゅうだい）とはデュエルにかける情熱（じょうねつ）で意気（いき）投合（とうごう）し、すぐに親友（しんゆう）の仲（なか）となる。

デュエルで使（つか）うのは「宝玉（ほうぎょく）獣（じゅう）」という美（うつく）しい宝石（ほうせき）をモチーフとしたモンスターが主力（しゅりょく）のデッキ。
宝玉（ほうぎょく）獣（じゅう）は破壊（はかい）されても永続（えいぞく）魔法（まほう）扱（あつか）いになるというトリッキーなもので相手（あいて）としたときのしぶとさは容易（ようい）に想像（そうぞう）できる。
デュエルする相手（あいて）の可能（かのう）性（せい）を全（すべ）て見（み）たいという彼（かれ）のポリシーとして、相手（あいて）のカードを破壊（はかい）するカードはデッキに一切（いっさい）入（い）れていない（カウンターは除（のぞ）く）。
本来（ほんらい）であるならばかなりの自爆（じばく）発言（はつげん）だと思（おも）うのだが、それでも勝利（しょうり）する彼（かれ）のデュエルの腕前（うでまえ）は本物（ほんもの）であるといえる。

A student from Duel Academy Arctic.
He is enrolled in the main Duel Academy as an exchange student coming from overseas.

He and Judai Yuki quickly became close friends, with both of them being capable of seeing card spirits and sharing a passion for dueling.
Happy-go-lucky, much like Judai, but somewhat more thoughtful, considering that Judai never ponders about things at all.

Uses Decks based on Crystal Beasts, monsters using beautiful jewels as their motif.
He sees the Crystal Beasts as his family, and their close bond is the secret behind his strength.

His thoughts on the opposite sex are a complete mystery.
If a suitable lady were to show up, the Crystal Beasts would probably hold a family meeting.
