Ai enters Bohman's program and discovers the five Ignises that were absorbed into the Neuron Link. After escaping from Bohman's program, Ai entrusts his, as well as the other Ignises', final hopes and wishes to Playmaker. And now, the battle between Bohman and Playmaker enters its final phase!

Featured Duel: Playmaker vs Bohman

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Turn 6: Playmaker

As he controls no monsters, Playmaker discards "Dotscaper" (a Cyberse monster) to Special Summon "Threshold Borg" (2400/1400) from his hand via its own effect in Attack Position. Since it was sent to the GY, Playmaker activates the effect of "Dotscaper", Special Summoning it in Defense Position (0/2100) via its own effect. Playaker activates "Cynet Codec". Playmaker sets "Threshold Borg" and "Dotscaper" (2 Effect Monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Code Talker" (1300/↑↓) to the Extra Monster Zone. Since a "Code Talker" monster(s) was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck to his Field, Playmaker activates the effect of "Cynet Codec", targeting one of those monsters, and adding 1 Cyberse monster with the same Attribute as that target from his Deck to his hand, but for the rest of this turn, he cannot add other monsters with the same Attribute to his hand with the effect of "Cynet Codec", also he cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Cyberse monsters (even if "Cynet Codec" leaves the field). He targets the DARK "Code Talker" and adds the DARK "Micro Coder" from his Deck to his hand. Playmaker sets "Micro Coder" from his hand (as the effect of "Micro Coder" allows him to use it as Link Material for the Link Summon of a "Code Talker" monster from his hand) and the Link 2 "Code Talker" (2 or more Cyberse monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Encode Talker" (2300/↑↓↘) to the Extra Monster Zone. Playmaker activates the effect of "Cynet Codec", targeting the LIGHT "Encode Talker" adds the LIGHT "Cyberse Gadget" from his Deck to his hand. As it was sent from the hand or field to the GY as Link Material for the Link Summon of a "Code Talker" monster, Playmaker activates the effect of "Micro Coder", adding a "Cynet" Spell/Trap from his Deck to his hand. He adds "Cynet Optimization". Playmaker Normal Summons "Cyberse Gadget" (1400/300). Since it was Normal Summoned, Playmaker activates the effect of "Cyberse Gadget", targeting 1 Level 2 or lower monster from his GY and Special Summon it in Defense Position, but its effects are negated. He Special Summons "Micro Coder" (300/0). Playmaker sets "Encode Talker" and "Micro Coder" (2 Cyberse monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Cyberse Witch" (800/↙↓) to the Extra Monster Zone. Playmaker activates the effect of "SIMM Tablir" in his hand, revealing it in his hand to target 1 Level 4 Cyberse monster in his GY, Special Summon itself from his hand to his Monster Zone that a linked Link Monster he controls points to, and then add that target to his hand. He targets the Level 4 "Clock Wyvern" in his GY, Special Summons "SIMM Tablir" (0/1800) from his hand in Defense Position to one of the zones "Cyberse Witch" points to, then adds "Clock Wyvern" from his GY to his hand. As a monster was Special Summoned to a zone it points to, Playmaker activates the effect of "Cyberse Witch", letting him banish 1 Spell Card from his GY to add 1 Cyberse Ritual Monster and 1 "Cynet Ritual" from his Deck to his hand. He banishes "Cynet Fusion" and adds "Cyberse Magician" and "Cynet Ritual". As he activated its first effect this turn, Playmaker activates the second effect of "Cyberse Witch", letting him target 1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse from his GY and Special Summon it. He targets "Widget Kid" in his GY and Special Summons it (1500/900) in Defense Position. As "Widget Kid" was Normal/Special Summoned, Playmaker activates its effect, letting him Special Summon 1 Cyberse monster from his hand in Defense Position. He Special Summons "Clock Wyvern" (1800/1000). Playmaker activates "Cynet Ritual", allowing him to Ritual Summon 1 Cyberse Ritual Monster from his hand, by tributing monsters from his hand and/or field whose total Leles equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster being Ritual Summoned. He tributes the Level 3 "Widget Kid" and the Level 5 "SIMM Tablir" to Ritual Summon the Level 7 "Cyberse Magician" (2500/2000) from his hand in Attack Position. Playmaker overlays his Level 4 "Cyberse Gadget" and "Clock Wyvern" to Xyz Summon the Rank 4 "Firewall eXceed Dragon" (2500/2000) in Attack Position to one of the zones "Cyberse Witch" points to. Playmaker sets "Firewall eXceed Dragon" and the Link 2 "Cyberse Witch" (2 or more Effect Monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Transcode Talker" (2300/↑→↓) to the Extra Monster Zone. Playmaker activates the effect "Cynet Codec", targeting the EARTH "Transcode Talker" and adding the EARTH "Code Generator" from his Deck to his hand. Playmaker activates the Continuous Spell "Cynet Optimization", and activates its effect, allowing him to immediately Normal Summon 1 Cyberse monster, but he cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Cyberse monsters (even if "Cynet Optimization" card leaves the field). He Normal Summons "Code Generator" (1300/500). Playmaker sets "Cyberse Magician", "Code Generator", and the Link 3 "Transcode Talker" (3 or more Effect Monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Firewall Dragon Darkfluid" (3000/↙←↑→↘). Since its was Link Summoned, Playmaker activates the effect of "Darkfluid", letting him place counters on it, equal to the number of Cyberse monsters in his GY with different monster card types (Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, and Xyz). He has all four types of cards in his GY ("Cyberse Clock Dragon", "Cyberse Magician", "Cyberse Quantum Dragon", and "Firewall eXceed Dragon", respectively), "Darkfluid" gains 4 Counters ("Darkfluid" Counters: 0 → 4).

"Darkfluid" attacks "Perfectron Hydradrive Dragon". As a Link Monster it points to is battling, Bohman activates the effect of "Judgment Arrows", doubling the current ATK of that monster during damage calculation only (Perfectron: 4000 → 8000 ATK). During the Battle Phase, the effect of "Firewall Dragon Darkfluid" increases its ATK by 2500 for every counter on it that was placed on it by its own effect (Darkfluid 3000 → 13000 ATK). Due to the effect of "Perfectron", Bohman takes no Battle Damage from battles involving itself while it has a "Hydradrive Counter", also if it would be destroyed, Bohman can remove 1 "Hydradrive Counter" from it instead ("Perfectron" "Hydradrive Counters": 4 → 3) (Perfectron: 8000 → 6000 ATK). After damage calculation, since it battled, Bohman activates the effect of "Perfectron", destroying all monsters his opponent controls, but Playmaker chains the effect of "Darkfluid": When his opponent activates a monster effect, Playmaker can remove 1 counter from "Darkfluid" to negate that effect, also if this effect was activated while "Darkfluid" attacked, it can make another attack in a row (Counter 4 → 3) (Darkfluid: 13000 → 10500 ATK).

"Darkfluid" attacks "Perfectron" again. Due to the effect of "Perfectron", Bohman takes no Battle Damage from that battle since it has a "Hydradrive Counter", and he removes 1 "Hydradrive Counter" from it to prevent it from being destroyed (Hydradrive Counter: 3 → 2) (Perfectron: 6000 → 4000 ATK). After damage calculation, if it battled, the effect of "Perfectron" activates, but Playmaker removes 1 counter from "Darkfluid" to negate that effect and allow itself to attack again in a row, since this effect was activated when it attacked (Counter: 3 → 2) (Darkfluid 10500 → 8000 ATK).

"Darkfluid" attacks "Perfectron" again. Due to the effect of "Perfectron", Bohman takes no Battle Damage from that battle since it has a "Hydradrive Counter", and he removes 1 "Hydradrive Counter" from it to prevent it from being destroyed (Hydradrive Counter: 2 → 1) (Perfectron: 4000 → 2000 ATK). After damage calculation, if it battled, the effect of "Perfectron" activates, but Playmaker removes 1 counter from "Darkfluid" to negate that effect and allow itself to attack again in a row, since this effect was activated when it attacked (Counter: 2 → 1) (Darkfluid 8000 → 5500 ATK).

"Darkfluid" attacks "Perfectron" again. Due to the effect of "Perfectron", Bohman takes no Battle Damage from that battle since it has a "Hydradrive Counter", and he removes 1 "Hydradrive Counter" from it to prevent it from being destroyed (Hydradrive Counter: 1 → 0) (Perfectron: 2000 → 0 ATK). After damage calculation, if it battled, the effect of "Perfectron" activates, but Playmaker removes 1 counter from "Darkfluid" to negate that effect and allow itself to attack again in a row, since this effect was activated when it attacked (Counter: 1 → 0) (Darkfluid 5500 → 3000 ATK).

"Darkfluid" attacks "Perfectron" again and destroys it (Bohman: LP 2500 → 0).
