The Unhappy Maiden (character)

The Unhappy Maiden is a character version of the card "The Unhappy Maiden" in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008.

The character appears in the Civilization Duel World, needing to be healed by being given Life Point recovery cards that restore a total of at least 4000 Life Points.

For the purposes of this quest:

  • Cards that can give out a variable amount of Life Points due to being multiplied by a particular number count as a single instance of such. "Soul Absorption" counts as restoring 500 Life Points, and "Blessings of the Nile" counts as restoring 1000.
  • Cards that can give out a variable amount of Life Points due to being based entirely on values not specified on the card itself count as 0. "Draining Shield" and "Altar for Tribute" will not recover any Life Points for The Unhappy Maiden.
  • Effects that restore the Life Points of the user's opponent will not recover any Life Points for The Unhappy Maiden. Cards have to recover the Life Points of their user to count. "Rain of Mercy" would count as restoring 1000 Life Points due to affecting both players, but the card cannot be obtained in normal gameplay at this point.

By helping out The Unhappy Maiden, she will give the player 1 copy each of "The Unhappy Maiden" and "The Unhappy Girl", and she will be unlocked as an opponent in World Championship Mode.
