The Duel Statue.

The Duel Statue, known as the Duel Shrine (デュエル地蔵じぞう, Dyueru Jizō) in the Japanese version, is a place in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's associated with a famous story, where people go to make wishes.

Events[edit]

Carly Carmine went to the statue to collect information as a reporter. Sometime after, she goes and tells Jack about the shrine. Marco prayed here to the Duel Goddess. He left his cards asking her to use it to defeat Don Piero, who had previously repossessed many of Marco's family's belongings through fraud dealings. After he left, Jack Atlas took the Deck and used some cards from in it in concert with his own to defeat Piero.[1]

Non-canon appearances[edit]

The Duel Statue appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 5 and 6. The statue has a meter, represented at the top of the screen, which is filled up each time the player would obtain a copy of a card that the player already has 9 copies of in their possession. The player can place 1 card on the statue and obtain another copy of the same card once the meter is completely filled up, which resets it to zero so that the process can be repeated.

The Duel Statue also appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Tag Force Special, where it can grant various wishes in exchange of JP.
