Quinton

V is a character appearing in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. He is a participant in the World Duel Carnival. V has vowed revenge against Dr. Faker for causing his family's misfortunes. His name is pronounced like the letter V, instead of the roman number of five. His younger brothers (III & IV) have a crest on their bodies; V´s crest is blue and on his forehead.

According to a magazine scan, V is collecting "Numbers" cards on his own for the sake of his own goal. This makes him one of the known "Numbers Hunters", like Yuma Tsukumo and Kaito Tenjo.

Biography

After IV chose his new targets and Tron gave III the mission of giving Shark a "Number", V gives III "Number 32: Marine Biting Dragon - Shark Drake". When IV responds to Tron in a disrespectful tone, V reprimands him, saying he wouldn't tolerate any rude act against Tron.

Trivia

• Seemingly the eldest brother, V embodies the stereotypical 'big brother' similar to Zane Truesdale, Kaito Tenjo and Seto Kaiba.

• He is also similar to Zane Truesdale by appearing to be the most mature and level-headed of the brothers.

• He is similar to Jakob for these reasons:
  • He trusts the youngest member of the group, III, for being serious and listening to orders, similar to how Jakob has more trust in Lester then Primo.
  • He distrusts the middle age one for how the middle age one doesn't listen, and does what he wants.
  • He is the brother who is the most loyal to Tron as he seriously scolded IV at once after he tried to talk back to Tron in episode 33.

• In the opening BRAVING!, there appears to be a scene of him dueling Yuma but whether or not this is an actual event is yet to be seen.
