Don Thousand is a God of the Barian World, appearing in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime.

Design

Appearance

Don Thousand has an armored demon-like appearance with red eyes, dark red skin and black hardening. additional he has a big red eye at the center of his belly. He wears on his chest his own symbol, an enhanced version of the Barian symbol. the hardenings on his forehead form a structure that looks like a black version of the Emperor Key. He is surrounded by shadows which may point out to its evil qualities.

Etymology

Don is a name given to three different lakes, it also means gift or ser in Spanish. So, accordingly, its name might mean "Thousand Lakes", "Thousand Gifts" or "Ser Thousand". The most probable is the second, for it can obviously "gift" people such as Vector, but also the third hypotesys has its pros (as "Don Thousand" is probably related somehow with the Numbers archetype) He is cunning, smart and elderly as well as imprisoned, most likely because of his mischief-making.

Biography

History

Don Thousand battled Astral a few eons ago and lost, being sealed in the Lake of Ill Omen.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II

After being defeated by Yuma and Astral once more, Vector attempted to revive Don Thousand, while in order to do so traveling through a lake to the place where the god was sealed, who informed him that he must collect the seven legendary "Number" cards in order to revive him. He then entered Vector's body.
