Haruto Tenjo is Kaito Tenjo's younger brother. Haruto possesses a mysterious and strange power that can create paths to alternate realities.
Biography
Haruto was first shown on a platform within a pit that tons and tons of junk was being poured into. Here, he appears as though he may possess strong psychic powers. He claims he is "different" from other people. Also, he has fallen sick which is the reason why his brother is on the search for the "Number" cards, as Kaito was told that without them they cant get treatment for Haruto's condition.
Haruto, Dr. Faker, and Mr. Heartland are the reason why the Astral World is being attacked. Large accumulations of trash from the robots are pouring down into a small rip in space Haruto created, connecting to the Astral World. Haruto sadistically laughs at the world's inhabitants' screams, and says that he "needs more screams" as that is what comforts him.[1]. When Haruto asks Kaito if he is "weird", Kaito simply tells him that he wasn't and he was just suffering from a bad dream. While it is unknown what he meant, he probably said it so that Haruto does not feel worried about what is happening. Haruto is not affected by Orbital 7's time-slowing ability[2], indicating the possibility that his current state is the result of a Number possessing him.
In episode 022, it is shown that he and Kaito used to live in a wooden house, and that he used to like joking and was very talkative, but he can't remember any of that. Kaito complained that Haruto shouldn't continue using his powers like that, but Haruto said that it was okay as he was doing something good for the world.
