Back at the plant, the MIK soldiers are knocked out. Bochi calls them a bunch of fodder while Manya says that they're just like extras. A male voice from behind them asks if there's only extras here. He approaches behind them and introduces himself as Henry Honya, the MIK's Astronomical Observer, along with his younger siblings Jane and Peter. As they are about to introduce themselves, another guy charges in, knocking them over. The students are curious about him. The man informs that he and Yuhi have dueled before, but Yuhi is not here, neither is Yudias or his sister Yuamu. Manya whispers to London if the man is onto them and London replies that it'd be bad. The man introduces himself as the great prophet Nomurandamas or Nomura for short. Manya and London are relieved that he didn't notice. Nomura is angry at the two, telling them to take this seriously. London and Manya sweatdrop. Nomura introduces himself once again, but Damas, his partner, recites "Volume 83, Line 31". Nomura scolds him for this and the students of Alien Middle School 8 take out their Decks again, this time along with the Honya siblings and Nomura. They all call out once again "Go Rush!!". Behind them, another MIK soldiers watches.

At the MIK building, Manabu gets a call from one of the soldiers, who said that there are "rebels" in the plant (he is referring to the Alien Middle School 8 students) and they're being reckless. After Manabu hangs up, Nyandestar wonders if the students are attacking the plant. Manabu replies yes and doesn't know if Yuamu or Yudias are among them. He tells the guards that they have to act as reinforcements. One of the guards says that their job is to be on the lookout, but Manabu says it's fine and informs them that their squadron will go to the plant as reinforcements. Manabu and his guards run out of the building to go to the plant together. Yudias and Yuamu peer out of the alley in black suits. Yudias informs that the MIK are gone while Yuamu winks as she says "Just as planned". In a flashback, Yuamu tells Yudias that Asaka has another plan in mind because That Guy wouldn't let himself become a card without a plan. She recalls the words "Go look into what that is while the manufacturing plant is under attack." Asaka congratulates Yuamu for her observation while calling her "vice president", but Yuamu still declines it however. Yudias thinks for a moment and suspects that That Guy must have rented a room within Goha Company. He accompanies Yuamu to go investigate with him. After the flashback ends, Yuamu is seen using a metallic object to break inside Goha Company, with Yudias realizing that the MIK left because of the chaos. Yuamu thinks that Manabu was trying to help his own way and since she and Yudias are wasting time, their operation has begun.

At the streets, Nyandestar blames Manabu on leaving Goha Company on purpose. Manabu denies that, asking her what is she on about.

Back at the manufacturing plant, Nomura and the Honya siblings are defeated. Damas glows, declaring that they were defeated without ever seeing the light of victory. An annoyed Nomura thinks that his partner chose the right time to make the prediction. Manya did say that the enemies were extras anyway. Mitsuko thanks the enemies for losing the duel. Asaka tells everyone that they now have to take back the card machines. The students then break inside the plant's alien detention center, where Chupataro runs around wanting to be first. Mitsuko slaps him since he didn't listen to the joke thrice as she scolds him. Just then, a woman from the MIK arrives. Chupataro recognizes the woman as the prison guard who lent him her voice for his Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan show. The woman tells the students that she was chosen to become part of MIK's leadership because of her ability to mimic someone. She takes off her outfit, revealing that she is Meeeg-chan. Asaka questions about her special abilities. Chupataro analyzes Meeeg-chan's sheep aura and perfect behavior as if she was the real Meeeg-chan. Asaka is about to demand a Duel to Meeg-chan, but Chupataro stops her, saying that she is a familiar face. Meeeg-chan also reveals that Energy Copyko is her real name. She and Chupataro shout "Go Rush!!" as they begin to Duel.

Later, Yuamu and Yudias find that the door is locked in That Guy's room. Yuamu allows Yudias to unlock it. Yudias says "UTS! Velgear riva!" as he glows green and fires his "Smaller Eye Beams" at the lock, slicing it in half. Once they enter, they find that the room is a mess. Yuamu wonders if this is the room That Guy rented. Yudias cannot fathom where anything would be. He suggests that this is an amazing camouflage. Yuamu and Yudias decide to look for clues. Yudias knocks over a shelf and it falls onto him, thus finding a hidden door behind it.

Copyko sends "Ewekai Thunderlambda" to the Graveyard and quietly places three cards on her Duel Disk: "Great Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan MAX Wool" - A Maximum Monster, to everyone's horror. Ordering a direct attack with her Meeeg-chan Maximum, she throws a huge pink ball of yarn at Chupataro, whose LP fall to zero. Mitsuko scolds Chupataro that he lost in three minutes and 33 seconds, but London generously says that Copyko using a Maximum was unexpected. Copyko reveals that her ability is to copy the personality and abilities of all those she beats in duels as she brings out a Chupataro puppet. Manya says it's similar to her superior acting ability. Manya and Copyko shout "Go Rush!!" as they Duel, the latter's puppet adding "Chupa!".

 +
Back in the room, Yuamu finds a ladder which goes down as Yudias climbs on it. She tells him that there is a restaurant beneath them. Yudias suggests following it down.
 +

 +
At the streets, Ranran is exhausted from all that running around as she places her hand on a pole while panting. She tells Damamu that she has been continuously on the run, then remembers Yuhi being turned into a card after losing the duel with Tremolo. She has to hurry and tell the rest of the rebels about Yuhi being turned into a card. Damamu and Ranran hide behind the pole as they hear Nyandestar talking to Manabu elsewhere. Ranran says Copyko's name in realization and shock and finds out her ability. Damamu thinks this is fun and wants them to copy too. Ranran and Damamu rush off to the manufacturing plant to warn the others.
 +

 +
Yuamu peeks through a hole to see inside the restaurant as a waiter serves the customers ramen. She tells Yudias that this shaft goes behind the walls of Tahayasty. Yudias gives her a thumbs up, saying that this is also a camouflage.
 +

 +
Manya is shocked that Copyko is copying her while dueling. Mitsuko says that Copyko is three times stronger than she thought. It is now Bochi's turn to duel with Copyko, as to avenge Manya. They both shout "Go Rush!!".
 +

 +
Yudias and Yuamu finish climbing down the ladder and find various machines. Yuamu spots Kaizo, the drone That Guy had with him. She touches him in the head, turning him on as a flash of blue light appears on him. Kaizo restores himself and comments that girls with glasses are the best, making Yuamu sweatdrop. Kaizo turns off and unleashes smoke. There are three cards revealed inside him. Yuamu suspects that the cards are Maximums and Yudias notes they especifically are a Machine Type Maximum: "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord".
 +

 +
We then cut back to the manufacturing plant, Ranran and Damamu see that all of the rebels lost the Duel after Asaka's turn. Chupataro did not realize that Copyko had this much power. Manya says that no acting could ever match Copyko's ability to copy others. Bochi weakly concludes that he will not yield. Mitsuko finds out that they were all third-rate. Asaka comments how fearsome the Maximums are. Copyko brings out a puppet version of Asaka and imitates her voice. Ranran is shocked at this as Copyko tells Phaser that she is done. The Relic from before appears and turns all of the rebels into cards. Ranran wonders how could this happen. Damamu informs that they're in trouble. Ranran says that among the rebels turned into cards, Yudias nor Yuamu were here. This means that Ranran and Damamu still have hope, but not before Manabu and Nyandestar show up and catch them red-handed. Manabu says that he can't allow a traitor to the MIK escape. The soldier appears as well. Ranran tries to convince them that Yuhi and the others have been turned into cards and has to warn Yuamu and Yudias, but she creates a distraction by thinking that there are more insurgents behind the MIK. This works and Damamu and Ranran make a run for it. As Manabu and the soldiers chase them, he tells Ranran in thought that he leaves it to her.
 +

 +
A red light glows inside the MIK office, Yuamu and Yudias exit through a pothole and arrive at an alley. Yudias holds up the Maximum cards as he delcares that he and Yuamu have finally found them. Yuamu optimistically realizes that they can finally compete with the Ryugu brothers. Yudias suggests heading to the plant to act as reinforcements and rendezvous with Asaka and they can show them the power of the Maximum. Ranran arrives and finds the pair. She tells them that she is no longer with the MIK. Damamu also arrives telling them what happened at the plant, along with Ranran, who also tells Yuamu that her brother was also turned into a card from the previous episode. This shocks both Yudias and Yuamu. Damamu chants "Everyone, cards~!" as they imagine everyone who was turned into cards falling into the abyss, beginning with That Guy and finishing with Yuhi.

"Operation: Take Back the Surface" is the fifty-seventh episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on May 7, 2023.

Asaka and her rebel army lead an assault on Mutsuba Heavy Industries's card printing plant, taking down multiple MIK members through Dueling. However, an MIK commander named Energy Copyko stands in their way! Meanwhile, Yuamu's group sneaks into the Goha Company, and discovers something in the basement.

Summary[edit]

It is a foggy day. The students of Alien Middle School 8 walk out of the fog and approach the MIK soldiers. Asaka announces to them that they are retaking the surface and hereby declares that the Mutstuba Card Manufacturing Plant will be freed. Everyone takes out their Decks, preparing to duel and they all shout "Go Rush!!".

In the Badloon Castle, Ganimi tells Rovian that mass duel has begun. Rovian remarks that the duel's refrain begins and the decoys quietly play a toccata. Ganimi has no idea what she is saying since Yuna is absent. Menjaburo arrives with Sukai. Sukai reminds the girls that Menjaburo had invited him to a bowl of tsukemen, so they had to come. Rovian strums her Duel Guitar when she welcomes him in vivace. Sukai asks her what does she want from him and Menjaburo. Rovian tells him that there are no crescendo regrets, it was a prelude to a new door. Menjaburo is shocked that Sukai understands Rovian's space poems. Sukai says that they call it Informat's Intuition. Rovian thinks it's a riling request and asks the boys to do a dangerous investigation, with absolute hearing.

Back in the room, Yuamu finds a ladder which goes down as Yudias climbs on it. She tells him that there is a restaurant beneath them. Yudias suggests following it down.

Yuamu peeks through a hole to see inside the restaurant as a waiter serves the customers ramen. She tells Yudias that this shaft goes behind the walls of Tahayasty. Yudias gives her a thumbs up, saying that this is also a camouflage.

Manya is shocked that Copyko is copying her while dueling. Mitsuko says that Copyko is three times stronger than she thought. It is now Bochi's turn to duel with Copyko, as to avenge Manya. They both shout "Go Rush!!".
