In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 013|episode 13]], he was shown to hold hostages in a shopping mall, as he demanded money and a helicopter in order to release them. He even kicked an [[litterbot]] as a message. When [[Astral]] noticed he had a [[Number]], [[Yuma Tsukumo|Yuma]] went to try to get it, but [[Kite Tenjo]] appeared and [[Orbital 7]] stopped the time. He had no other choice then to Duel Kite. As Kite easily summoned his "[[Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon]]", his "[[Number 56: Gold Rat]]" was defeated quickly and he lost the Duel. When Kite used his [[Photon Hand]] to claim the "Goldrat" card, he aged very fast as his soul was taken in process. When Yuma and Astral arrived, they found out it was too late and the Number was already taken. The criminal then said "Numbers Hunter..." several times trying to warn Yuma before time returned to normal. It is unknown what happened to him afterwards, but he most likely was taken to the hospital like Kite's other victims.

Number 56's holder is an unnamed criminal appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime, and was the original owner of "Number 56: Gold Rat". His manga counterpart is Number 20's holder.
