My name is Sanokal, admin on this site, fanfiction author of Yu-Gi-Oh! Dissidia, part-time deviantartist, and the only New Zealander on the Internet, and that is all that you need to know. Oh fine, I'll put out a bit more.

G.O.D card appearances

Each "G.O.D." card references one or more of the Egyptian Gods:

  • "G.O.D.-Eyes" is a dragon with a saurian posture, referencing "The Winged Dragon of Ra", is the only one to possess a fixed original ATK score, referencing "Obelisk the Tormentor", and has an effect triggered by a specific action and can both raise its ATK by multiples of 1000 and reduce the ATK of an opponent's monster (in the manga), referencing "Slifer the Sky Dragon".
  • "Genesis Omega Dragon" is a serpentine dragon with an effect that increases its ATK by 1000 and one that is triggered by a specific action, referencing "Slifer the Sky Dragon", can destroy cards on the field instantly and is said to be the strongest of the series, referencing "The Winged Dragon of Ra", and its head is surrounded by spikes and crests, resembling those on the head of "Obelisk the Tormentor".

Card text (Toon monster fix)

All Toon monsters can attack the opponent directly while "Toon World" is on the field and the opponent controls no Toon monsters, and all Toon monsters except "Toon Dark Magician Girl" cannot attack during the turn they are Summoned. The first Toon monsters were Special Summon-only monsters with severe restrictions; while they could be Special Summoned rather than Normal Summoned, they required "Toon World" to be on the field for their initial Special Summon, were destroyed if "Toon World" was destroyed, had to attack Toon monsters if the opponent controlled them, and required an LP cost to attack. Later Toon monsters could be Normal Summoned and had relaxed restrictions, removing the LP cost for their attacks, the necessity to have "Toon World" on the field to be Summoned, and the requirement to attack opposing Toon monsters but they were still destroyed when "Toon World" was destroyed.

Toons received a fresh wave of support in Dragons of Legend 2 that provided several powerful support cards, including "Toon Kingdom", which could protect Toon monsters in a similar manner to their anime counterparts and was treated as "Toon World". Subsequent Toon monsters were released in Booster Packs with more relaxed restrictions than previously, removing their self-destruction effect when "Toon World" was destroyed.

There are four ways in which a Toon monster's text is written.

OCG/TCG

Toon monsters released in 2000

Card text: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing x monsters, while you control "Toon World". Cannot attack the turn it is Special Summoned. You must pay 500 LP to declare an attack with this monster. If "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card. Can attack your opponent directly, unless they control a Toon monster, in which case this card must target a Toon monster for its attacks.

Includes "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon", "Toon Summoned Skull", "Manga Ryu-Ran", and "Toon Mermaid". Only "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" has the current update of PSCT for this text; the other three all use an older text that implies that they cannot be Special Summoned, except by their own effects.

Toon monsters released in 2001

Card text: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing x monsters, while you control "Toon World". If "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card. Can attack your opponent directly, unless they control a Toon monster, in which case this card must target a Toon monster for its attacks.

Only 1 Toon monster uses this text: "Toon Dark Magician Girl"

Toon monsters released in 2002

Card text: Cannot attack the turn it is Summoned. If "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card. While you control "Toon World" and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly.

Includes "Toon Cannon Soldier", "Toon Gemini Elf", "Toon Goblin Attack Force", "Toon Masked Sorcerer". Only "Toon Masked Sorcerer" and "Toon Gemini Elf" have the current update of PSCT for this text; the other two all use older text.

Toon monsters released from 2015-2016

Card text: Cannot attack the turn it is Summoned. While you control "Toon World" and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly.

Includes "Toon Ancient Gear Golem", "Toon Barrel Dragon", "Toon Buster Blader", "Toon Cyber Dragon", "Red-Eyes Toon Dragon", and "Toon Dark Magician".

R

I like to consider myself an authority on R, considering I novelized it. Thus I'll attempt to clean up the related pages and add in summaries. Note this useful link as well, very difficult to find on the internet from my experience (thanks Deltaneos) and very valuable for potential DM, R, GX, and 5D's summaries that might need them in the future. You will be sorely missed, janime.

ARC-V

Okay, it seems like I'm the primary source of adding post-air information onto this wiki. So that's a thing. My memory might be a bit hazy though, so feel free to correct the info. One thing that I can't really do is upload images. I can move images from around the wiki, but what I'll do for when I don't have images is that I'll put down hidden notes for picture prompts.

Manga

I have easy access to most manga in English, except the recently released.

Current Priorities

  • With the end of VRAINS Season 1 comes an end to my perspective experiment. Thus I will be catching up on VRAINS and getting our content up to date.
  • Once my reserved books come in, write summaries for the English chapters of the manga that might need them. When I have time, assist properly in the cleanup of the manga summaries of Duelist.
  • TOP PRIORITY, as they take a long time to write, help update the overarching ARC-V summaries, correct the grammar in the character biographies, and severely shorten the history sections for pages like Lancers and Duel Academy (ARC-V). Summaries on the to-do list are 85, 135-140, 144-147, and then every other summary in order.
  • Doing the same for VRAINS. Summaries on the to-do-list are 32-37 in Season 1, and tentatively for Season 2; 50-58, 69, 70, 72-102.
  • Possibly assist with the restructuring of the second series anime pages and 5D's if numbers are needed.
  • Assisting with creating Rulings pages.

Grinding

01. Find the place that spawns Chansey. 02. False Swipe said Chansey. 03. Keep False Swiping until you've determined whether that Chansey has fling. This is critical to the infinite SOS chain for farming Chansey/Blissey for EXP. 04. Once you've completed step 4, switch out to either Execute line or Phantump line that has Harvest as their ability and has the move Skill Swap. Skill Swap with your target Chansey. 05. Then give it a Leppa Berry via Trick/Switcheroo/Bestow from a Pokémon that can learn the move. 06. And there you have it! Your infinite SOS chain for EXP farming is complete! As long as you don't knock out the Chansey of course.

Tip: - Use Decidueye. Chansey & Blissey that you encounter only has Egg Bomb and Fling. Poor attacl means literally no damage, lol.

Oh, a few more things.

Because Chansey knows Fling, it'll fling the Leppa Berry to your Pokémon, therefore restoring the PP of whichever move that's the lowest.

Harvest ensures it can do that infinitely while also keeping it's own PP topped up.

ARC-V Episode 80 Summary (started by Denversapple)

After his victorious Duel with Shinji, Sam met Yuya as he left on his Duel Runner. The Topsiders thanked Yuya as he "stopped" Shinji's drivel about the revolution, while the Commons and Crow expressed their hatred for Shinji's defeat. Yuya later realized that he put the victory over his entertainment Duel so he could reach Jack and that made him deepen the commotion between him and the Commons. Shinji returned and at the same time, Jean-Michel_Roger approached Yuya as he was impressed by the Duel, especially when Yuya Pendulum-Synchro Summoned. Because of this, the Commons suspected to have a connection from the Tops and the Security such as being chosen as Jack's opponent earlier though he is not known in the City. Roger defended Yuya saying that he just believed in his potential, by Yuya having the Pendulum Summon.

Roger also said that it was best for Yuya to test the Pendulum Summon with his battle with Jack, where Roger expected Jack's victory. Because of this, the High Council suspected that Roger might be trying to win Yuya by his side but Declan said that he's not that foolish. Sam also started to distrust Yuya and Roger sent Shinji to the Underground Labor Facility. After the incidents, Yuya left to his Duel Runner, claiming that she found Zuzu but a Security officer blocked him. Roger told the officer to let him go. Yuya escaped the Duel Palace and started to call Sora in the Tops' area and later in the slums, not knowing that he was being followed by an officer. Sora found Yuya and the two of them hid. The officer tossed a tracking device and left.

Sora explained that Zuzu was alive and he kept her in a safe place. He also explained his objectives since the Battle Royal and why he was in the Synchro Dimension: to save Zuzu. After Sora teleported away the end of his Duel with Yuya in the Battle Royal, he immediately came to Duel Academy to search for her, but she was not there. Sora also learned that Leo also wanted Zuzu and Celina, so he returned to Standard Dimension only to learn that Declan formed the Lancers, so he came to the Synchro Dimension. After hearing Dennis' connection in Lulu's disappearance, he sent Dennis back to Duel Academy to protect Zuzu. Yuya told him that because he sent Dennis back, the Academy would know that Zuzu and Selena were in the Synchro Dimension, but Sora interrupted that the Academy would know anyway since Obelisk Force may come in the Synchro Dimension soon. Because of Sora's loyalty to the Academy's goal to bring Celina back to the Fusion Dimension, he made a proposal to Yuy| A = Yuya must bring Celina to Sora while he handed over Zuzu to Yuya and she will be sent back to Standard Dimension. Yuya disagreed because he could not abandon Selena.

Roger eavesdropped on the conversation the whole time via the tracking device. Now knowing that Dennis returned to the Academy, he became afraid that Leo would send Yuri into the dimension. Hesitantly, he went to secure Yuya and Sora to forcefully tell him about Zuzu's location. Yuya swore to defeat Academy and hoped that Sora would open his eyes soon. Yuya saw an officer from a rooftop who shot a net aiming to trap Sora. Yuya pushed Sora out of the way and got caught instead. Yuya told Sora to protect Zuzu; as Sora left, Yuya wished him luck.

ARC-V Episode 135 section

Declan tells them to watch this; Yuya's path to victory, and Riley cries that he sees it; the effect of "Dark Rebellion" can halve the ATK of a Level 5 or higher monster and allow it to gain that much ATK, and Aster adds that "Dark Rebellion" can use the effect twice. Sora cries that Yuya will win.

But Yuri refuses to let Yuya, and he activates a Trap Card "Predaplant Reborn", Special Summoning a "Predaplant" monster from his Graveyard. He revives "Predaplant Stapeliaworm" in Defense Position, and he explains that once per turn when the ATK of a monster would change due to an effect, it can negate and destroy that card. As Declan, Riley, Aster and Sora grit their teeth in frustration, Yuri challenges Yuya to try it and lose "Dark Rebellion". Yuya responds by activating the effect of "Flatrat" as a monster was Normal or Special Summoned, making its Level the same as that of "Flatrat"; 5. "Flatrat" builds up energy by running on its rolling pin, and then casts that energy at "Stapeliaworm", raising it to Level 5. Then Yuya activates the effect of "Dark Rebellion", detaching an Overlay Unit and declaring "Treason Discharge". Yuri counters with the effect of "Stapeliaworm" to destroy "Dark Rebellion", but Yuya activates the effect of "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon" as the effect of a Level 5 or higher monster was activated, negating that effect and destroying that monster, then having "Clear Wing" gain ATK equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster. "Clear Wing" destroys "Stapeliaworm" just before it can strike "Dark Rebellion", rising to 2600 ATK. Yuri scowls in fury, and Yuya adds that now that "Stapeliaworm" has been destroyed, the effect of "Dark Rebellion" continues, and the ATK of "Starving Venom" is halved to 1400 and the ATK of "Dark Rebellion" is raised by that amount, to 3900. The specters of Yuto and Yugo appear in front of their Dimension Dragons, and Aster and Riley gasp that Yugo and Yuto are helping Yuya; they returned with their Dragons to their friend. Declan tells Yuya to do it, and Yuya detaches the other Overlay Unit from "Dark Rebellion" to activate its "Treason Discharge" effect again. "Starving Venom" falls to 700 ATK, and "Dark Rebellion" rises to 4600. Aster eagerly declares that it's decided, and Sora cries that Yuya wins. Declan tells Yuya to defeat Yuri.

But again, Yuri refuses to be defeated yet, and he activates another Trap Card - "Ridiculing World", which increases the ATK of all monsters Yuya controls by 100. Giggling dark spirits swarm Yuya's monsters as their ATK rises, and Yuri explains that it will prevent any monster with ATK that is higher than their original ATK from attacking this turn. He cackles madly, asking Yuya how this is; now he can't use his limbs anymore and he throws back his head and laughs. But since the ATK of a monster he controls changed, Yuya activates the effect of "Flatrat", Tributing it to return that monster's ATK to normal. As "Flatrat" runs so quickly on its rolling pin that it's spun into a circle of rainbow energy and rockets into the air, Yuri calls it useless; no matter which Dragon Yuya chooses, as soon as "Starving Venom" is destroyed, its effect will activate and destroy all of Yuya's Dragons, then inflict damage to him equal to their ATK and he'll be defeated. Yuya declares that it's Yuri's LP that will no longer remain, and he explains that he's returning the ATK of "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" to normal. He declares battle, and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" attacks "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon" with "Spiral Flame Strike". "Odd-Eyes" blasts the crimson plume at "Starving Venom", and Yuya adds that when it battles a Level 5 or higher monster, the battle damage will be doubled. The orbs on "Odd-Eyes'" wing spikes glow, and it unleashes the orange plumes of its "Reaction Force" effect. As the flames approach "Starving Venom", Yuri asks in shock if he's losing. Then he begins to laugh, and he continues to laugh as the flames engulf him and blast him onto his back, reducing his LP to zero as "Crossover" dissipates.

Yuya tells them that he won, by thinking only of winning, he won. Darkness begins to rise around him again and Riley nervously says Yuya's name.

Yuya turns to them, his irises glowing brightly and his face contorted by a fiendish smile, as he declares that it was just as they wished.

Aster, Sora, Declan and Riley all gasp in horror, and Yuya declares that he will keep on winning until they destroy the world. Darkness erupts from his body and sends his pendant flying away, and his "Stargazer" and "Timegazer Magicians" emerge from his Extra Deck and swirl in the air, combining into a single card. A starscape appears above them, the lining of the cloak of "Astrograph Sorcerer", who raises his staff as Yuya howls wildly, his eyes now completely blotted out by white and red light as his counterparts have been while Awakened, and both the three Dragons he controlled, as well as Yuri's "Starving Venom", whose eyes have also become blotted out by white and purple light, rise into the air and orbit the tip of his staff. Declan asks in shock what it is, and Yuya chants "Astrograph Sorcerer who governs spacetime! With your abyssal power overlay our desires!" Blue light radiates from "Astrograph Sorcerer's" staff, and pulse of blue light radiates from the tip, then an explosion of symbols that blind Declan, Riley, Aster and Sora and radiate out across the entire space. The light fades as they run outside, beholding numerous floating islands and tears in space showing the other dimensions, and as they look out across the empty expanse, they behold a massive, shadowy form. Riley realizes what it is, as does a grim Declan, and they behold Supreme King Z-ARC, his shroud of shadows now revealing tan sections beneath the darkness. Supreme King Z-ARC roars, his eyes glowing red beneath the darkness.

ARC-V Episode 136 section

Zarc comments that he doesn't even know if he can be stopped with his current hand, and Aster asks "What?" while Sora asks what that's supposed to mean. Darkness surrounds Zarc as he explains that he can Special Summon this monster from his hand when cards he controls are destroyed, and he holds up the card, chanting "Read time, read the stars, omniscient magician manipulating space-time! Descend here and now and give power to me! Come forth, Astrograph Sorcerer!" "Astrograph Sorcerer" appears with 2500 ATK, and Aster and Sora recognizes the monster as the one that transformed Yuya into Zarc. Zarc then activates the effect of "Astrograph Sorcerer", restoring all the cards that were just destroyed. His two "Darkwurms" appear from its staff, and the two "Supreme King Gates" re-materialize in the Pendulum Zones. Sora grits his teeth, protesting that he thought that they were totally annihilated. Zarc begins laughing and his dark aura expands. Aster asks what is going to happen, and Sora grits his teeth again, cracking his lollipop. Zarc explains that by Tributing "Astrograph Sorcerer" and banishing the four heavenly dragons from his Deck, Extra Deck, and Graveyard, he can activate its effect. He orders "Astrograph Sorcerer" to have the dragons become his food, and "Astrograph Sorcerer" glows blue and then dissipates. Zarc announces the four heavenly dragons; "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon", "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon", and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", and he orders them to become their foundation. As each Dragon is banished, the image of its owner appears beside it, and then angry red smoke begins belching from Zarc's body and crimson lightning begins to strike. Aster can only gasp "W-What?" and Sora asks what Zarc is going to do. But they get no answer as red lightning strikes the walls, and Aster notes that he doesn't really understand what's going on, but they'd better evacuate to somewhere safe. They two Academy students turn and run just in time as a fork of lightning hits the ground where they had been standing.

Back at Duel Academy, Shay and Kite see the red cloud has covered the entire island holding the city. Shay asks what on earth is going to happen, and Kite spots something and he tells Shay to look. They see Aster and Sora fleeing through a rip in space, and Kite wonders who they're Dueling. He sees Zarc's face, and he asks in shock if it's Yuya. He wonders if this is the Zarc that Yusho mentioned, and Shay asks in shock what Kite means. Kite muses that it must be; Zarc has revived. Shay looks back at Zarc, noting that this must be who Yuya, Yuto, Yugo and Yuri reunited into; the Demon Duelist. Kite suggests that they go; Aster and the others are in trouble.

Zarc Unity Summons his full form, "Supreme King Z-ARC" at last.

Alone in the belching red smoke, Zarc chants "Controlling the four heavenly dragons, the ultimate dragon who reigns in the fifth dimension! Right now it becomes one with me! Unity Summon! Come forth, Supreme King Z-ARC!" ("One merciless dragon, to rule over all others! Merge with me and we will dominate every dimension! Let us reunite, reunite as one! The ultimate union of man and monster! Pendulum, Xyz, Synchro, Fusion, all these powers are mine! With the mightiest power of each of the Four Dimensions combined into one! Together, we are Supreme King Z-ARC!" in the dub; the chant is longer and encapsulates the following explanation). Zarc ascends into the smoke, and then a titanic pair of wings erupts from the clouds as the Supreme King's red eyes gleam through the smoke. Then it beats its wings, dispelling the clouds and revealing Supreme King Z-ARC at last; a titanic grey and tan union of the Four Dimension Dragons with emerald highlights, its colossal tail and wings making up most of its size. It towers over the island with 4000 ATK as Zarc laughs and he declares that he is Pendulum, Xyz Synchro, and Fusion - the "Z-ARC" card is a hybrid of all four monster card types. He is the one who controls everything, the ultimate existence.

ARC-V Episode 146 section

He declares his turn and he draws "Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron". With the already set Pendulum Scale, he Pendulum Summons, reviving "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", "Performapal Coin Dragon", and "Performapal Odd-Eyes Minitaurus" (who slumps at the notion of being pummeled again). Jack angrily asks if Yuya doesn't understand, but Yuya tells Jack that he gets it; in other words, is Jack saying that he wants Yuya to be a master that doesn't get his hand bitten by his own dog. Jack seems surprised that Yuya is finally understanding, and he tells him that's right, telling Yuya to show him his strength as a master who freely manipulates the four ferocious Dragons. Yuya replies that he'll show Jack their power, and as Yuto's form flickers over Yuya's body, he tells Yuto that he kept him waiting; this is for him. He accelerates past Jack, and he overlays the Level 4 "Performapal Coin Dragon" and "Performapal Odd-Eyes Minitaurus", chanting "From the black darkness, the fangs of rebellion that fight against the powers of stupidity descend! Xyz Summon! Appear! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" They emerge in the Xyz Dimension, and Allen cheers that there it is, and Saya gasps that it's Yuto's Dragon. Dennis cheers, telling Yuya that that's it. Both Dimension Dragons roar, and Riley begins to react. Henrietta gasps his name, and Declan notes that the evil soul is reacting, after all, the Dragons and Zarc's soul are... Meanwhile, Yusho watches the Duel grimly. Yuya then Summons the Tuner monster "Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron", and then Yugo's image appears over Yuya as Yuya tells him that it's his time now. He explains that "Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron" use a card in his Pendulum Zone to Synchro Summon, and he tunes the Level 2 "Odd-Eyes Synchron" with the Level 5 "Stargazer Magician", chanting "Flap your beautiful and heroic wings to strike the enemy at the speed of light! Synchro Summon! Appear! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" ("Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction! I Synchro Summon! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" in the dub.) They pass into the space between dimension again, and Riley glows with a dark aura as she continues to cry and Henrietta gasps in horror. Yuri's outline then flickers over Yuya, and Yuya states that it's finally Yuri. The effect of "Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver" allows it to fuse with the "Timegazer Magician" in Yuya's Pendulum Zone, so he chants "Dichromatic eyes that illuminate the dark night! Become time's compass, and point to a new path! Fusion Summon! Appear! Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" ("...and together they'll bring out the most toxic monster ever seen! I Fusion Summon! The vicious, venomous, and voracious, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" in the dub.) As all Four Dimension Dragons fly in formation behind Yuya, the dark aura around Riley intensifies and Henrietta begs them to stop it. Yusho gently pats Riley's head, telling Henrietta that she has to endure it. The real fun is only just getting started.

ARC-V Episode 147 section

Yuya's counterattack, Yuya summons the four dragons, Declan summons the Superdoom Kings.

VRAINS Episode 72 section

Bohman calls "Let's go Playmaker!" and they both cry "Speed Duel!"

Playmaker takes the first turn, and Ai asks what he'll do, as Bohman can double the ATK of his Link Monsters using "Judgment Arrows" and will crush Playmaker instantly should he end his turn recklessly. Playmaker agrees, and he decides to create a formation to survive Bohman's attack this turn. He activates a Spell Card, "Cynet Mining", discarding a card to add a Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster from his Deck to his hand. He sends "Dotscaper" to the Graveyard, and adds "Cyberse Gadget" to his hand, which he promptly Summons. He activates its effect, Special Summoning a Level 2 or lower monster from his Graveyard in Defense Posotion with its effects negated, and he revives "Dotscaper". Then Playmaker chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" and declares that the Summoning condition is one Level 1 monster, setting "Dotscaper" to Link Summon the Link 1 "Linkuriboh". Then he activates the effect of "Dotscaper" as it was sent to the Graveyard, Special Summoning it, and chants again "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" He declares that the Summoning conditions are two Cyberse monsters, and he sets "Cyberse Gadget" and "Linkuriboh" in the Link Arrows to Link Summon the Link-2 "Cyberse Witch".

Playmaker then activates the effect of "Cyberse Gadget" as it was sent from the field to the Graveyard, Special Summoning a "Gadget Token". The he activates the effect of "Cyberse Witch" as a monster was Special Summoned to a zone that it points to, banishing a Spell from his Graveyard to add a Cyberse Ritual Monster and "Cynet Ritual" from his Deck to his hand. He banishes "Cynet Mining", and then adds "Cyberse Magician" and "Cynet Ritual" to his hand. Then the effect of "Cyberse Witch" allows Playmaker to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster from his Graveyard, and he revives "Cyberse Gadget". Playmaker then activates the Ritual Spell Card "Cynet Ritual", Tributing the Level 2 "Gadget Token", Level 4 "Cyberse Gadget" and Level 1 "Dotscaper", Ritual Summoning "Cyberse Magician". He equips it with the Equip Spell Card "Grid Rod", increasing its ATK by 300 and preventing it from being affected by Bohman's card effects, and "Cyberse Magician's" staff is replaced by a mystical rod as he rises to 2800 ATK. Ai cheers and he praises Playmaker's move as perfect, and Playmaker ends his turn. Behind them, Harlan muses that he sees; Playmaker brought out "Cyberse Magician" on his first turn to halve any damage he'd take and strengthen his defenses. Bohman notes that "Cyberse Magician" has 2800 ATK, so Playmaker is using him and "Grid Rod" to stop his attacks, but will it be enough to survive them?

He tells Playmaker to witness how he's evolved, and he declares his turn and draws, then Summons "Hydradrive Booster". He chants "Appear! The circuit that connects to the truth!" and sets "Booster", Link Summoning the Link-1 "Flow Hydradrive". He activates the Spell Card, "Hydradrive Rebuild", destroying a "Hydradrive" monster he controls. "Flow Hydradrive" is destroyed, much to Ai's surprise, but Playmaker recalls that the effect of "Flow Hydradrive" will allow Bohman to Special Summon a Token monster. Bohman Special Summons the "Hydradrive Token" in Defense Position, and Ai asks why Bohman went to the trouble of Summoning the Token. Bohman then adds that the effect of "Hydradrive Rebuild" will allow him to Special Summon a "Hydradrive" from his Graveyard with its effects negated if he activated the effect of the destroyed "Hydradrive" in the Graveyard this turn. He resurrects "Flow Hydradrive", and Playmaker deduces that Bohman destroyed his own "Hydradrive" in order to move his Link Monster to the Main Monster Zone. Bohman smiles and he confirms that he did, activating the Link Spell Card "Judgment Arrows" and chanting "Appear! The three arrows that judge the world!" Ai declares that there's Bohman's Link Spell, which will double the ATK of a monster it points to. Bohman then activates a Quick-Play Spell Card, "Hydradrive Defragment" as an effect destroyed one of his "Hydradrive" monsters this turn, allowing him to destroy one Spell or Trap Card his opponent controls. He chooses to destroy "Grid Rod", which explodes in "Cyberse Magician's" hand, reducing him back to 2500 ATK. Ai states that even if Bohman doubles the ATK of "Flow Hydradrive", "Cyberse Magician" will still have more ATK. Bohman admits that's true, but it's not enough to stop him now. He chants "Appear! The circuit that connects to the truth!" and explains that the Summoning condition is one "Hydradrive", setting the "Hydradrive Token" to Link Summon the Link-1 "Burn Hydradrive". Then he activates the effect of "Hydradrive Defragment" from his Graveyard, banishing it to add a "Hydradrive" Spell Card from his Graveyard to his hand, and he takes back "Hydradrive Rebuild". Ai muses that Bohman retrieved his card that destroys his own monster again, and he realizes what that means. Bohman activates "Hydradrive Rebuild" again, this time destroying "Burn Hydradrive", which activates its effect to Special Summon a "Hydradrive Token", and then the effect of "Hydradrive Rebuild" resurrects "Burn Hydradrive". Bohman chants "Appear! The circuit that connects the truth!" and declares that the Summoning condition is one "Hydradrive" monster, setting the "Hydradrive Token" to Link Summon the Link-1 "Coolant Hydradrive". Noting Bohman's three Link-1 monsters, Playmaker muses that a Link-3 monster is coming, and once again Bohman chants "Appear! The circuit that connects the truth!" He declares that the Summoning conditions are three "Hydradrive" Link Monsters, and he sets "Burn", "Flow" and "Coolant Hydradrive", chanting "Link Summon! Come out, the cursed conqueror! Link-3 Trident Hydradrive Lord!"

Ai declares that a Link-3 "Hydradrive" has arrived.

Playmaker activates the effect of the Ritual Spell Card "Cynet Ritual" from his Graveyard since he controls no monsters, banishing it and a Ritual Monster from his Graveyard to Special Summon two "Cynet Tokens". Bohman begins to respond, but then lowers his hand, deciding that he should observe their new possibility. Playmaker chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" and sets the two "Cynet Tokens" in the Link Arrows to Link Summon the Link-2 "Cyberse Wicckid". Then Playmaker Special Summons "Backup Secretary" from his hand since he controls a Cyberse monster, and activates the effect of "Cyberse Wicckid" since he Special Summoned a monster to a zone it points to, allowing him to add "Cyberse Synchron" from his Deck to his hand, which he then Summons. Then he activates the effect of "Cyberse Synchron", allowing him to increase the Level of a Level 4 or lower monster by its original value. Bohman muses that he sees, deducing what new monster Playmaker instinctively drew, but he'll go no further. He activates the "Judgment Dice" effect of "Rousing Hydradrive Monarch", and Playmaker and Ai are shocked to learn that Bohman can use the effect during their turn. Bohman generates a dice between his hands, and it lands on the DARK Attribute. Ai protests that it can't be DARK again, and Bohmam reminds them that all of their DARK monsters will be sent to the Graveyard and they will take 500 damage for each one. Playmaker controls two DARK monsters, "Cyberse Wicckid" and "Cyberse Synchron", so he'll take 1000 damage and Bohman will win.

Playmaker states that won't happen, and Bohman asks, "What?" Playmaker explains that since it was Link Summoned the effect of "Cyberse Wicckid" prevents Bohman's effects from affecting both "Cyberse Wicckid" and the Cyberse that it points to. "Cyberse Wicckid" generates an energy shield with its staff around both itself and "Cyberse Synchron", and Ai cheers, asking if Bohman sees the power of their bond. Haru scoffs, calling it an annoying effect, and Playmaker continues with the effect of "Cyberse Synchron", whose ports glow blue, increasing the Level of "Backup Secretary" from 3 to 6. Then Playmaker tunes the Level 1 "Cyberse Synchron" with the Level 6 "Backup Secretary" and as the lines on his suit glow light green he chants "Flash of lightning! The unknown power transforms into a soaring dragon! Synchro Summon! Descend! Cyberse Quantum Dragon!" Bohman observes that this is the power created by their instincts, but notes that "Cyberse Quantum Dragon" only has 2500 ATK; can he defeat Bohman's monarch with that?

VRAINS Episode 74 section

Gore declares his turn and draws, then he activates the effect of "Capaptera" since Earth controls more monsters than he does, allowing him to send one monsters Earth controls to the Graveyard. He chooses "Invalid Dolmen", but Earth replies that it's pointless; Gore's monsters can't affect his own while "Ivalid Dolmen" and "Crystal Heart" are co-linked. In that case, Gore Special Summons "Dinowrestler Pankratops" from his hand. Ai is shocked by the Level 7 monster, and Gore explains that he can Special Summon it when Earth controls more monsters than he does. Next he Normal Summons "Dinowrestler Eskrimamenchi", explaining that he can do so without Tribute when he controls a "Dinowrestler" monster. He chants, "Appear! The circuit to victory!" and he sets "Capaptera", "Eskrimamenchi" and "Pankratops" in the Link Arrows to link the Circuit and Link Summon the Link-3 "Dinowrestler King T Wrextle". Playmaker observes that it's The Gore's ace monster. Gore then activates the effect of "Capaptera" from his Graveyard as it was used to Link Summon a "Dinowrestler" monster, increasing that monster's ATK by 1000 until the end of the turn. "King T Wrextle" roars as it increases to 4000 ATK, and Gore declares battle, warning Earth that he can't activate Spell or Trap Cards when "King T Wrextle" battles. He orders it to route "Crystal Heart", but Earth yells that he won't let Gore and he slams his fists together, as does "Invalid Dolmen", blocking "King T Wrextle's" punch. Gore scowls, and Earth explains that Gore must attack "Invalid Dolmen". He vows that he won't let Gore lay a finger on "Crystal Heart", and Ai cheers that Earth was able to prevent the destruction of "Crystal Heart".

But, as Playmaker notes, "King T Wrextle" had 4000 ATK, so it still destroys "Invalid Dolmen" and Ai screams as "Invalid Dolmen" explodes into stone shards. Earth is blasted backwards, his LP falling to 3400, but he activates the effect of "Invalid Dolmen" as it was destroyed, negating the effects of all cards Gore controls. Smoke envelops "King T Wrextle" and flings it backwards, shrouding it in a ghostly aura as Ai cheers that Earth was able to remove the effect of "King T Wrextle". Then Earth activates the Trap Card "Gravity Vision", which activates by targeting an EARTH Link Monster that was destroyed by battle and Gore's monster, Special Summoning a "G Golem Token" in Defense Position and increasing its DEF by 800 times the destroyed EARTH Link monster's Link Rating. "Invalid Dolmen" was Link-3, so it increases to 2400 DEF, and in addition, as long as Earth controls the "G Golem Token" Summoned via this effect, "King T Wrextle" loses ATK equal to the Token's DEF, and it can't attack a non-Token monster. "King T Wrextle" falls to 1600 ATK, and Ai cheers that Earth is impressive; now "King T Wrextle" can't get past his Token. Playmaker warily agrees that Earth's defense is strong, but why is The Gore so confident?

Gore comments that Earth is quite skilled, so he'll show him his new power. He declares "Expanding thought capabilities! Brain Hack!" and he begins screaming as electricity crackles over his body, much to Playmaker, Ai, and Earth's shock. Gore sees himself in a clustered plantspace, and Playmaker asks what Gore did. Gore's pupils and the edges of his irises glow yellow, and he activates the effect of "Dinowrestler Eskrimamenchi" from his Graveyard since Earth Special Summoned a monster during Gore's turn, adding it to his hand and then Special Summoning a Level 4 or lower "Dinowrestler" monster from his Graveyard. He Special Summons "Capaptera", and then he activates the Quick-Play Spell Card, "Tyrant Dino Fusion", allowing him to Fusion Summon by sending the required Fusion Materials from his field to the Graveyard. He fuses "Dinowrestler King T Wrextle" and "Capaptera", chanting "I feel the power rising. Awaken, T Wrextle! Become the tyrant that devours everything! Appear! Dinowrestler Chimera T Wrextle!" "Chimera T Wrextle" appears with 3500 ATK, and Gore explains that the effect of "Tyrant Dino Fusion" will prevent its destruction by battle or card effects once. "Chimera T Wrextle" roars, buffeting Earth, and Gore declares that he'll show them what he was yearning for; the power that surpasses humanity's domain.

VRAINS Episode 75 section

Gore comments that he sealed away Earth's Skill, but does he still intend to continue this Duel? Earth replies that of course he does; Gore might have sealed away his Skill, but he's lost his ace monster and has few LP left. He'll protect "Crystal Heart" and defeat Gore. Gore comments that Earth's style is like looking at his past self, and he warns him that he'll show him the difference in their powers. He declares his turn and draws, then he Special Summons "Dinowrestler Coelasilat" - a Tuner monster - from his hand since he controls no monsters. Next since he controls a "Dinowrestler" monster, he Normal Summons "Dinowrestler Eskrimamenchi" without Tribute. Orange energy erupts behind him as Gore tunes the Level 2 "Coelasilat" with the Level 6 "Eskrimamenchi". He chants "The muscular ancient king, kick all your enemies! Synchro Summon! Appear, Level 8! Dinowrestler Giga Spinosavate!"

Earth frowns and he whispers "Synchro Summon..." Playmaker notes that Gore first used Fusion Summoning, and has now used Synchro Summoning. Blue Gal comments that The Gore has evolved. Ai protests that Earth still has a monster with 4400 ATK. Gore then activates the Spell Card "Spacetime Transcendence", banishing at least two Dinosaur monsters from his Graveyard, then Special Summoning another from his hand or Graveyard whose Level equals their combined Levels, though it won't be able to attack this turn. He banishes the Level 1 "Dinowrestler Martial Ampelo" and the Level 7 "Dinowrestler Pankratops" from his Graveyard, then orders the wild one to revive - "Dinowrestler Chimera T Wrextle". Both "Dinowrestlers" roar ferociously, and Earth asks what Gore can do by Summoning a monster that can't attack. Gore laughs, and he activates the effect of "Giga Spinosavate", allowing it to destroy a monster. He orders "Crystal Heart" to break apart as "Giga Spinosavate" rockets forwards and launches a kick at Earth's monsters.

Earth snaps that he won't let Gore, and he activates the effect of "Trilithon" as a card effect targeted a monster he controls, negating that effect and destroying that card. "Trilithon" generates a blue energy shield around "Crystal Heart", absorbing the fired blast and then reflecting it. Gore responds with the effect of "Giga Spinosavate" as it would be destroyed, destroying "Chimera T Wrextle" instead. "Chimera T Wrextle" intercepts the blast and disintegrates, and Gore activates its effect as it was destroyed by a card effect. A specter of "Chimera T Wrextle" forms in front of "Giga Spinosavate", and Playmaker asks what it is. Ai yelps that this looks bad, and Gore reveals that the effect of "Chimera T Wrextle" will now destroy all Attack Position monsters Earth controls. The specter glows orange and advances on Earth's monsters, and as Earth scowls in frustration, Playmaker notes that since this effect doesn't target it can't be stopped by the effect of "Dignified Trilithon". Ai yelps that this is bad; Earth's field will be empty if both of his monsters are destroyed.

But Earth activates a Trap Card, "Gravity Protection", allowing him to Tribute an EARTH monster and then equip it to one of his Link Monsters. He Tributes "Trilithon", and explains that while it is equipped to "Crystal Heart", it can't be destroyed by battle or card effects, and it gains half of the original ATK of "Trilithon". "Crystal Heart" increases to 1600 ATK, and the specter of "Chimera T Wrextle" sprouts shadow tendrils shaped like dinosaur heads that ricochet off another energy shield that protects "Crystal Heart". Earth pants heavily, asking how that is; he saved it. Ai is amazed, and Blue Gal adds that now "Giga Spinosavate" can't end him. Ai adds that since Earth has "Crystal Heart", he'll be able to resurrect the ace in his Graveyard. Gore only has 100 LP left, so Earth can win. Earth yells that he'll say it again and again; he'll protect "Crystal Heart". Blue Gal is struck by his dedication, and Playmaker wonders what The Gore will do in this hopeless situation.

VRAINS Episode 80 sections

Lightning declares his turn and draws, then he activates the Continuous Spell Card "Armatos Lex", returning "Judgment Arrows" from his Graveyard to his Deck to add "Armatos Legio Gladius" from his Graveyard to his hand. Shepherd gasps "What?" in shock as Lightning orders the Link Spell Card "Judgment Arrows" to return to his Deck, and then retrieves "Gladuis". Playmaker notes that Lightning was able to return "Judgment Arrows" to his Deck, and Ai states that Lightning is planning to use his Link Spell again, while Ghost Gal watches nervously. Varis notes that as he thought, the LIGHT Ignis anticipated that its Link Spell would be destroyed. Lightning then activates the effect of the Field Spell Card "Armatos Colosseum", sending "Gladius" from his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon "Speculata" and "Sica" from his Graveyard in Defense Position to the zones that "Centurion" points to. He chants "Appear! The circuit that guides the light!" and sets "Speculata" and the Link-2 "Centurion" in the Link Arrows, chanting "My light becomes eternal, my power becomes the truth! Shine on everything and create the path! Appear, Link-3 Armatos Legio Legatus Legionis!" Playmaker gasps that it's Lightning's Link-3 monster, and Ai declares that Lightning's ace monster has appeared.

Lightning ends his turn.

The Shepherd declares his turn and draws, and he Summons "Drone Recycler" from his hand and activates its effect, banishing a "Drone" Link Monster from his Graveyard to Special Summon a "Drone" monster from his hand whose Level is equal to the banished monster's Link Rating. He banishes the Link-2 "Warrant" to Special Summon the Level 2 "Drone Carrier" in Defense Position. He activates its effect as it was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Drone" monster, Special Summoning a "Drone" monster from his Graveyard, and he resurrects "General", furthermore activating its effect to Special Summon a "Drone" from his Graveyard to a zone that it points to. He revives "Drone Pawn", and then tunes the Level 2 "Drone Carrier" with the Level 4 "Drone Recycler". As the Summoning sequence begins, Lightning asks "Tuning?" The Shepherd chants "The elite sharpshooter with no equal. Fire your bullet at your prey! Synchro Summon. Level 6 Commandrone Double Sniper!"

The Shepherd Fusion Summons "Fortressdrone Beehive" to prevent Lightning from counterattacking.

Shepherd ends his attacks, but he vows that he won't let Lightning counterattack. He activates the effect of the Continuous Spell Card "Drone Unity", Tributing a "Drone" monster to draw a card. He Tributes "Drone Pawn" and draws the Quick-Play Spell Card "Drone Force Fusion", which he immediately activates, allowing him to Fusion Summon using "Drone" monsters, adding that the activation and effect of "Drone Force Fusion" cannot be negated. He fuses "Commandrone Double Sniper" and "Battledrone General", and Lightning is shocked that The Shepherd is using his ace monster as Fusion Material. Shepherd declares that he'll show Lightning that his Dueling is better than his, and he chants "My most powerful soldier and commander now become one to build an impregnable fortress! Fusion Summon! Fortressdrone Beehive!" It has zero ATK, but since it was Fusion Summoned using "Drone Force Fusion" it can't be destroyed by card effects, and when "Beehive" is Fusion Summoned it gains Drone Counters equal to the total Levels of its Fusion Materials. As the total was 6, it gains six Drone Counters. Shepherd then activates the effect of "Beehive", removing as many Drone Counters to Special Summon "Drone Tokens" for each. He removes five, Special Summoning five "Drone Tokens", and he explains that "Fortressdrone Beehive" gains 1000 ATK for every other "Drone" monster on the field, increasing it to 5000 ATK. Shepherd then Sets a card, ending his turn. Soulburner is shocked at the high ATK, and Flame muses that the five Tokens have zero ATK, but that when they're attacked the effect of "Drone Unity" will raise them to 5000 ATK, and he calls the strategy solid. Lightning muses that he sees, and he calls it a wonderful sight; it's fun for the climax of a Duel.

VRAINS Episode 81 sections

Playmaker and Soulburner fly across the skies of LINK VRAINS as Kolter informs them that the signal is coming from that area. Soulburner observes that Earth is on one of the floating islands, and Playmaker asks if Kolter can pinpoint the location. Then they notice something coming, and Ai states that Playmaker means Earth, right? He calls out to Earth, cheering that he knew that Earth was okay, and he spreads his arms and bids Earth to jump into them.

And then a thin figure on a Duel Board rockets towards them, and Ai barely has time to tell it not to jump into his arms. Playmaker and Soulburner recoil as the figure dives in between them and swings around to face them. Ai recognizes the figure - it's The Gore, who comments that he's found Playmaker. Playmaker whispers The Gore's name in shock, while Skye, Emma, and Aqua watch from Emma's hideout, as do Ryoken and Specter from Ryoken's speedboat. Ryoken observes that trouble has arrived, while Queen tells Gore to show her his strength. Gore declares that he'll end things with Playmaker today. Soulburner gasps in shock that Gore's face and aura are totally different from before; Gore is now as thin and frail as they are, a far cry from his usual muscular build. Soulburner asks if that is really The Gore, and Flame declares that Gore has been assimilated by placing an A.I. chip in his brain. Ai clenches his fist, muttering that Gore took Earth, and Soulburner declares that SOL Technologies must also be pursuing Earth and have sent The Gore. Gore tells Soulburner that he'll take him on after he's taken care of Playmaker and he bids Soulburner to wait patiently. Flame lightly comments that Gore already believes that Ai will lose, and Ai scoffs that it's a joke; Gore's the one who's going to lose. He tells Gore to give Earth back, but Gore ignores him and suggests to Playmaker that they go.

Playmaker begs The Gore to wait, protesting that he doesn't want to fight him. Ai asks in shock what Playmaker is talking about, and Gore asks if Playmaker wants to run away now. Playmaker protests that this isn't the time for humans to fight one another, as a huge threat is coming. Gore doesn't react, and Ai protests that he isn't the same Gore as before. Playmaker begs Gore to fight alongside him as they did against the Tower of Hanoi; he needs Gore's help. Gore declares that Playmaker defeated the opponent who defeated him, and Ai wonders what Gore is suddenly talking about. Playmaker explains that Gore means Varis, and Ai asks if Gore is still obsessed with that and notes that he can't let it go. Playmaker states that he was able to defeat Varis because Gore uncovered what card Varis had; he could have won on his own. Ai proudly begins to claim that Playmaker had him, but Playmaker angrily tells him to be quiet, and Ai quickly shuts up. Gore reflects that his gears began to malfunction after he lost to Playmaker, and the more he tried to stop them from malfunctioning, the more he deteriorated and fell, and he realized that he had to defeat Playmaker to climb out of that pit. Ai tells Gore to stop behaving like a child, and Gore also tells him to be quiet. Ai flinches back and he quickly shuts up again, muttering that even The Gore told him to be quiet. Playmaker asks if Gore really isn't the same as before; is The Gore - the proud fighter and Duelist - really gone? Gore reflects that he used to be a proud Duelist, and he can be again when he defeats Playmaker. He'll crush Playmaker and climb to great heights again. Flame grimly notes that Gore isn't listening no matter what they say, and Soulburner sadly whispers The Gore's name. Playmaker admits to The Gore that it seems he has no choice but to fight, and Gore agrees, stating that this will be Playmaker's final Duel. He accelerates past Playmaker, who turns in pursuit and they both declare "Speed Duel!"

Gore declares that he's going max from the start, and he chants "Expanding thought capabilities! Brain Hack Overlimit!" He lets out a wild cry as he sees himself in his other world, and his eyes glow orange as he declares his turn and Sets a monster, then ends his turn. Ai recalls that Gore made the same opening move against Earth, and Playmaker notes that Gore's Duel will begin when he attacks Gore's Set monster. Down below, several Duelists recognize Playmaker and The Gore, and they are shocked by the latter's appearance. Soulburner lands on a building, and then Aqua's voice calls Flame's name. Blue Maiden leaps off her Duel Board and onto another rooftop above Soulburner, commenting that it looks like it's started. Soulburner agrees, and he turns back to the Duel, admitting that he can't believe this is The Gore. He used to admire Gore as a hero who saved LINK VRAINS with Playmaker. Ryoken notes that tenacity can help people rise to new heights, but that it can also go wrong as it did with his father. Ai emerges from Playmaker's Duel Disk, noting that Gore's "Anti Skill" is a problem, as he can use it to stop their own Skill, and Playmaker agrees.

He declares his turn and draws, Setting the card that he drew and then Special Summoning "Linkslayer", explaining that he can Special Summon it from his hand since he controls no monsters. Next he Summons "Storm Cipher" and then since he Normal Summoned a Cyberse monster he Special Summons "Boot Staggered" from his hand. Blue Maiden observes that Playmaker has three monsters with at least 2000 ATK and is planning to end this instantly. Ryoken observes that Playmaker doesn't want to give Gore time to think. Playmaker declares battle, and "Storm Cipher" attacks the Set monster, generating a twister in its hands. Gore declares that his Set monster is "Dinowrestler Valeonyx", which emerges from the card image. "Storm Cipher" then releases its twister, which engulfs "Valeonyx". Gore then sends "Dinowrestler Martial Anga" from his hand to the Graveyard to activate its effect, preventing "Valeonyx" from being destroyed by battle with a monster that has equal or higher ATK. "Valeonyx" emerges unscathed from the twister, and Gore adds that the effect also ends the Battle Phase. Ai is shocked that the effect doesn't just protect Gore's monster, and Soulburner notes that it also ends the battle. Flame comments that Playmaker's strategy had been to defeat Gore quickly, but Gore was able to avoid it.

Playmaker ends his turn in frustration, and Gore asks him why he is trying to end the Duel so quickly; is he scared of him? Ai indignantly snaps that he isn't scared of Gore, and then Gore turns his gaze on Ai and he yelps that he's scared of Gore. Gore declares that Playmaker is scared of him, of his thinking ability and his "Anti Skill". Ai quietly calls Gore's personality twisted. Gore then activates the effect of "Dinowrestler Martial Anga" activates from his Graveyard at the end of the turn as it used its effect and Playmaker controls more monsters than him, Special Summoning itself. He scornfully decries Playmaker's Dueling as boring and within expectations, and reminds him that his Dueling previously defeated him and disrupted everything. He tells Playmaker to entertain him more, for only he can push Gore to great heights. He declares that he must defeat Playmaker. Ai admits to Playmaker that he thinks Gore is more dangerous than before.

Gore declares his turn and draws, and he immediately chants "Appear! The circuit to victory!" He explains that the Summoning conditions are two "Dinowrestlers" and sets "Martial Anga" and "Valeonyx" to Link Summon the Link-2 "Dinowrestler Terra Parkourio". Ai comments that it doesn't stand a chance against their monsters with only 1000 ATK, but Gore tells him not to get impatient, much to Ai's surprise. He activates the Spell Card "Crazy Evolution", Special Summoning a "Dinowrestler" monster from his hand in Defense Position whose Level is the same as a monster Playmaker controls. "Storm Cipher" is Level 4, so he Special Summons the Level 4 "Dinowrestler Systegosaur". The effect of "Systegosaur" then activates as it was Special Summoned, allowing Gore to add "World Dino Wrestling" from his Deck to his hand. The effect of "Crazy Evolution" then changes the Type of all monsters Gore controls to the Type of the monster he originally targeted - so both "Terra Parkourio" and "Systegosaur" become Cyberse monsters. Ai wonders why Gore made his cards Cyberse-Type.

Aqua suddenly senses something, and she sinks to her knees on Blue Maiden's Duel Disk. Blue Maiden asks her what's wrong, and Aqua feels a familiar sensation and she asks if it can be... Blue Maiden looks up in shock at Gore and Playmaker as Gore announces the main event, and he chants "Appear! The circuit to victory!" This time the Summoning conditions are two Cyberse monsters, and Playmaker, Blue Maiden, Aqua, Soulburner, and Flame all gasp in shock as Gore sets "Systegosaur" and "Terra Parkourio", Link Summoning a Link-2 and releasing a ball of light from his hand that swells into the monster. Aqua recognizes it in shock as the corrupted monster appears with 0 ATK and cloaked in an angry red aura, and Flame recognizes the monster too, while Ai screams "What?!" in shock - Gore has Summoned "G Golem Crystal Heart". Ai can only ask why as Gore smiles, and Aqua realizes in horror what has happened. Zaizen can't believe that The Gore has Earth's card either, and then he too realizes why. Ai snaps that "Crystal Heart" is Earth's card and he asks why Gore has it. But Gore doesn't respond, and Ai orders him to answer him; how did he get it? Gore claims that it isn't important how he acquired it, but how he'll use it. Ai curses Gore, and Playmaker grimly notes that there's something different about that "Crystal Heart" than the one Earth used. Ai pays closer attention, noting the dark red crystal and angry aura, and he agrees that it is different; it's like it's turned into Gore. Playmaker agrees; he senses that it's the same as The Gore. Ai gasps in shock, and he asks Gore if he really did it.

Gore leans forward and he confirms that he did. His left eye swells into a ball that resembles Earth, much to Blue Maiden, Soulburner, and Playmaker's collective horror. Gore closes his eye and the ball is replaced by the orange glow of Brain Hack, and Aqua whispers Earth's name. Ryoken declares that SOL Tech put the EARTH Ignis's data into The Gore; that is something that they would do. Meanwhile Specter wordlessly looks at the corrupted "Crystal Heart", trembling in silence. At SOL Technologies, Zaizen asks his staff if the Ignis data is in the A.I. chip, and his staff confirm it. Zaizen furiously snaps that just putting an A.I. chip in a human's brain is risky enough, but on top of that they added Ignis data to it. He angrily asks them why, and Queen's voice comes over the intercom, explaining that she ordered so. She reminds him that she needs data, and she utilizes all data efficiently. Zaizen angrily asks if she's willing to do anything, and Queen confirms that she is. Zaizen grits his teeth in fury, and Queen declares that business is about efficiency and production; that's the basis of basics.

Back in LINK VRAINS, Aqua confirms that Earth's data is in Gore, and Flame realizes what SOL did to Earth. Ai curses in frustration, and then he realizes what the signal that they followed was. Playmaker declares that it was a trap to lure them, and Gore agrees that it was. Ai screams at Gore to stop messing around, and Gore declares that the Ignis is under his control. Ai repeats his words, and Gore explains that they say the Ignis are a threat to humanity, and then he smiles fiendishly and claims that they aren't if they're under his control. Gore declares that he's surpassed Playmaker, and Ai angrily suggests to Playmaker that they crush Gore. Gore tells the DARK Ignis to keep talking, as he will be the next to fall under Gore's control. Ai refuses, but Gore continues his turn, activating the effect of "Dinowrestler Terra Parkourio" since it was used as Link Material, Special Summoning another "Dinowrestler" from his Graveyard with its effects negated. He revives "Martial Anga", and then activates the effect of "Crystal Heart", Special Summoning an EARTH Link Monster from his Graveyard so that it is co-linked with "Crystal Heart". He revives "Terra Parkourio", and as this effect was used, he places a G Golem Counter on "Crystal Heart", granting the EARTH monster that it points to 600 ATK. "Terra Parkourio" powers up to 1600 ATK, and Flame grimly notes that Gore is using "Crystal Heart" masterfully. Gore then activates the Field Spell Card "World Dino Wrestling", and since he has, the effect of "Terra Parkourio" activates and allows him to add a "Dinowrestler" monster from his Graveyard to his hand. He takes back "Valeonyx", and Playmaker declares that it's coming. Once again, Gore chants "Appear! The circuit to victory!" The Summoning conditions are at least two "Dinowrestlers", so Gore sets "Martial Anga" and the Link-2 "Terra Parkourio" in the Link Arrows, Link Summoning the Link-3 "Dinowrestler King T Wrextle". Playmaker grimly beholds the monster, and Soulburner and Blue Maiden leap up to another island to get a better view. Gore smiles, and he declares that he'll enjoy this final Duel between them.

VRAINS Episode 82 sections

One of Zaizen's staff declares that the synchronicity between The Gore and the A.I. is increasing. Gore sees himself in his other world, Playmaker appearing within it. He clenches his fist over Playmaker's images, and he declares that he's almost there; he's almost become a perfect Duelist. Ai observes that Playmaker seems unsure whether to defeat The Gore, and protests that this is about revenge for Earth. No matter how Playmaker feels about Gore, he's only thinking about crushing Playmaker; crushing them.

Playmaker replies that he knows, and he declares his turn and draws. He Summons "Dotscaper" and chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" setting "Dotscaper" and Link Summoning the Link-1 "Linkuriboh". The effect of "Dotscaper" then activates as it was sent to the Graveyard, Special Summoning itself. He chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" again and declares that the Summoning conditions are two monsters, setting "Dotscaper" and "Boot Staggered" to Link Summon the Link-2 "Security Dragon". Playmaker then activates the effect of "Security Dragon"; once while it is co-linked, it can return one of Gore's monsters to his hand. Ai tells "T Wrextle" to go home, but Gore explains that the effect of "Valeonyx" will prevent "King T Wrextle" from being affected by the effects of monsters with an equal or lower Link Rating. Ai freaks out, and the glow surrounding "King T Wrextle" fades and it roars. Playmaker observes that the effect of "Valeonyx" activated in the previous turn, and Gore smiles, declaring that the effects of Link-3 or lower monsters are useless against "King T Wrextle". Playmaker states that a Link-4 monster can affect it, and he Special Summons "Cross Debug" from his hand since he controls at least two Link Monsters. Gore watches as Playmaker chants "Appear for a third time! The circuit that leads to the future!" He sets "Linkslayer", "Cross Debug" and the Link-2 "Security Dragon" in the Link Arrows, Link Summoning the Link-4 "Firewall Dragon". Playmaker activates the effect of "Firewall Dragon", once it can return monsters to the hand up to the number of monsters it is co-linked to. "Firewall Dragon" draws back its head, crackling with electricity as Playmaker declares "Emergency Escape", and Ai thanks "King T Wrextle" for its time.

Gore mutters that everything they do it within expectations, and he activates the Trap Card "Dino Deceit" since a monster with an equal or higher Link Rating than a "Dinowrestler" Link Monster he controls activated its effect, negating the effects of all monsters Playmaker controls. "Firewall Dragon" comes to rest, and Ai yelps in frustrations that they've been negated again. Gore adds that the effect of his Trap also allows him to Set a Spell or Trap from his hand, and will force Playmaker to battle this turn. Playmaker grits his teeth, and Soulburner reflects that when the Battle Phase starts, The Gore can activate the effect of "King T Wrextle" and choose which monster he attacks with. Blue Maiden notes that at the moment, Playmaker can only attack "King T Wrextle". Gore warns Playmaker that if he doesn't attack with the monster he selects, that monster will be destroyed at the end of the Battle Phase. He chooses "Firewall Dragon", and Ai notes that it's as expected, but they can't attack with "Firewall Dragon" in this situation. Gore asks if Playmaker will attack, or...? Playmaker doesn't respond, and Gore notes that he won't attack, so it's gone. "Firewall Dragon" disintegrates, and Ai curses as Playmaker ends his turn. Ai laments that in the end they couldn't do anything.

Out on the speedboat, Specter comments to Ryoken that The Gore's Dueling has entered unknown territory now that he's been fused with an A.I. Ryoken notes that to defeat Playmaker, The Gore will still have to Duel beyond expectations.

Gore declares his turn and draws, declaring that he'll end Playmaker this turn. He Sets another card, then activates the Continuous Trap Card "Dino Domain", returning a "Dinowrestler" he controls to his hand. He chooses "King T Wrextle", and Ai is surprised that Gore returned his own monster despite preventing them from doing so last turn. But Gore explains that due to the effect of "Dino Domain", the effects of monsters Playmaker controls can't affect his monsters until the end of the turn, and when he controls a monster in the Extra Monster Zone, "Dino Domain" can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects. Soulburner notes that now effects can't affect The Gore's monsters, and Playmaker only controls "Linkuriboh", who can't use its effect. Blue Maiden wonders if that was worth returning The Gore's ace monster, "T Wrextle", but Aqua reminds them that Gore has "Crystal Heart". Sure enough, Gore activates the effect of "Crystal Heart", Special Summoning "Dinowrestler Terra Parkourio" from his Graveyard and placing a G Golem Counter on "Crystal Heart". A second ridge on the face of "Crystal Heart" lights up, and for each G Golem Counter, "Terra Parkourio" gains 600 ATK, increasing to 2200. Then Gore chants "Appear! The circuit to victory!" and sets "Valeonyx" and "Terra Parkourio" to Link Summon the Link-3 "Dinowrestler King T Wrextle" again. The effect of "Terra Parkourio" then activates as it was used as Link Material, Special Summoning "Valeonyx" from the Graveyard with its effects negated. Playmaker notes that "King T Wrextle" is once again in a zone that "Crystal Heart" is pointing to, and Gore reminds him that the effect of "Crystal Heart" will increase the ATK of "King T Wrextle" by 600 for every G Golem Counter on it. "King T Wrextle" powers up to 4200 ATK, and Gore declares that he's ending this.

At SOL Technologies, The Gore's body twists around inside his VR chamber, and Zaizen notes that at this rate he'll be in physical danger and orders the staff to forcibly log him out. One of the staff protests, and Zaizen snaps that Gore can't take it anymore. But Queen reappears on a screen and warns Zaizen that she told him not to butt in, and to leave if he is unable to stop himself. Zaizen grits his teeth furiously.

Gore declares battle, and "King T Wrextle" attacks "Linkuriboh", raising a fist that brims with flaming power. Due to the effect of "World Dino Wrestling", "King T Wrextle" gains 200 ATK, rising to 4400. Playmaker activates the effect of "Cross Debug" from his Graveyard, banishing it and targeting "Firewall Dragon" in his Graveyard to prevent "Linkuriboh" from being destroyed and increasing its ATK by that of "Firewall Dragon". "Linkuriboh" powers up to 2800 ATK with a resolute look as "King T Wrextle" punches it in the face and flings it backwards. Gore warns Playmaker that he'll still take damage, and Playmaker falls to 1000 LP. The ATK of "King T Wrextle" and "Linkuriboh" both return to normal, and Playmaker grits his teeth. Gore comments that this is fine; the more Playmaker fights back, the greater heights Gore reaches. He ends his turn, and Soulburner grimly notes that Playmaker managed to survive. Blue Maiden notes that he's surrounded on all sides, so no matter what Playmaker does, his next turn will be... Ai notes that they have 1000 LP left, so they can activate their Skill, but... Gore tells Playmaker to show him how he struggles pathetically until the very end, and Playmaker retorts that it might be pathetic, but he won't give up until the end.

He declares his turn and draws "Grid Sweeper", and then a Data Storm begins to blow around them. Ai looks at Playmaker in surprise, don't tell him he's... Playmaker confirms that he is, and Ai protests that Gore has "Anti Skill", and he asks if Playmaker is desperate. Playmaker retorts that he'll bet on his instincts, and Ai asks if he's being serious. Gore asks "Instincts?" in confusion, and he tells Playmaker that relying on instincts means that he's fallen. Ai snaps that Gore is one to talk; he's all instinct himself. Gore retorts that that's why he gave that up and fused with an A.I. Playmaker is shocked by that statement, and he tells Ai "Let's go!" Ai agrees; let's be desperate. A Data Storm emerges and envelops them, and Soulburner and Blue Maiden gasp in shock. Gore calls it pointless, and Playmaker surfs into the Data Storm with a wild cry as Gore watches, activating his Skill, "Neo Storm Access". Gore reminds them that once per Duel he can negate their Skill, and the symbol appears over the back of his hand as he declares "Anti Skill", casting a ball of light into the Data Storm and dispelling it. Playmaker falls from the Data Storm, and Ai curses. The effect of Gore's Skill then allows him to draw two cards, and he tells Playmaker that it's over.

Playmaker declares that he is overlaying the Level 4 "Firewall Guardian" and "Grid Sweeper", and the lines on his suit glow dark blue and lightning crackles from his Duel Disk as a blue X-shaped cybernetic array with four small red circles between the spokes materializes behind him. Soulburner asks what it is, and Blue Maiden asks if it isn't a Link Summon. Playmaker uses his two monsters to build the Overlay Network, and they disperse into colored particles and enter the red circles, causing a red circle to spin behind the portal, and datastream-like energy flows from the tips and forms a light blue galaxy-style portal in front of Playmaker. Playmaker chants "The wall of power that annihilates everything! Manifest as the dragon's fang! Xyz Summon! Appear, Rank 4! Firewall eXceed Dragon!" The new Xyz Monster appears with its twin Overlay Units rotating behind it in circles, with 2500 ATK.

Gore is shocked to see an Xyz Summon, and Playmaker activates the effect of "eXceed Dragon", detaching two Overlay Units to Special Summon a Link-4 Cyberse Link Monster from his Graveyard so that it is linked to "eXceed Dragon". He revives "Firewall Dragon", and adds that "eXceed Dragon" will also gain 500 ATK for each Link Arrow that the monsters linked to it have. Ai states that "Firewall" is Link-4, and "Clock Lizard" is Link-2, and Playmaker finishes that "eXceed Dragon" will gain 3000 ATK, bringing it to 5500. Then Playmaker activates the "Emergency Escape" effect of "Firewall Dragon", and its head begins to crackle with electricity. Ai announces that they'll return "King T Wrextle" to Gore's hand. But Gore activates the effect of "Dino Domain", by returning a "Dinowrestler" to his hand, his monsters will be unaffected by the effects of Playmaker's monsters until the end of the turn. He returns "Valeonyx", who explodes into red particles, but Playmaker then activates the effect of "Grid Sweeper" from his Graveyard, banishing both it and "Clock Lizard" from his field to destroy a card Gore controls. As "eXceed Dragon" drops to 4500 ATK, Gore points out that his monsters aren't affected by the effects of Playmaker's monsters.

But Playmaker reveals that his target is "World Dino Wrestling", and the Field Spell explodes, allowing Playmaker to attack with more than one monster. He declares his Battle Phase, and Gore activates the effect of "King T Wrextle", forcing "Firewall Dragon" to attack first. It only has 2500 ATK in comparison to the 4200 ATK of "King T Wrextle", so if it attacks, Playmaker will lose all his LP, so he can't attack. Ai curses that it's happened again, but Playmaker attacks anyway, much to Gore's shock, and as "Firewall Dragon" turns red, Ai screams in shock. Soulburner asks Playmaker if he wants to self-destruct, but Playmaker activates the effect of "Firewall Guardian" from his Graveyard since he declared an attack, banishing it from the Graveyard to negate "Firewall Dragon's" attack and causing it to fade back to blue. Then, Gore's monster can only be affected by its own effects until the end of this turn and its ATK becomes zero. Gore gasps "zero ATK?!" as his eyes swell into balls resembling Earth, and Ai comments that even God or Ai couldn't have anticipated this. Playmaker attacks "King T Wrextle" with "Firewall eXceed Dragon", who spreads its blue hardlight wings and attacks with "Rising Crypt Limit", blasting "King T Wrextle" away.

Varis chants "Appear! Magnus Dux

Varis declares his turn and draws, then he activates the effect of his Field Spell "Boot Sector Launch" since his opponent controls more monsters than him, allowing him to Special Summon "Rokket" monsters from his Graveyard in Defense Position equal to the difference. He revives "Magnarokket Dragon" and then Normal Summons "Estrangement Dragon" from his hand. Lightning asks if this is what Varis is doing; Summoning a weakling? He points out that since he has "Judgment Arrows", Varis will have to Summon a monster with at least 5000 ATK to defeat him. Varis retorts that he'll show Lightning the moment where humanity's Dueling surpasses his expectations, and he activates the effect of "Estrangement Dragon" since it was Summoned, allowing him to Special Summon another copy from his Deck to Lightning's side of the field in Attack Position. Lightning is shocked that Varis Summoned it to his field, and Varis explains that "Estrangement Dragon" can't be attacked if its controller controls another monster, and since it was Special Summoned by an effect, it will be sent to the Graveyard at the end of this turn. Ai wonders what Varis is planning to do, but Playmaker notes that Varis has two Level 4 monsters, and he asks if it can be?

Varis overlays the Level 4 "Estrangement Dragon" and "Magnarokket Dragon" to build the Overlay Network, chanting "When two soaring, heroic roars merge into thunder, it opens the eternal door and shows its power! Xyz Summon! Appear, Rank 4 Borreload eXcharge Dragon!" The new "Borreload" appears with 3000 ATK, and Playmaker notes that Varis had a new trump card ready. Ai comments that Varis does the unexpected as usual, calling a Rank 4 with 3000 ATK crazy. Lightning chuckles at the sight of an Xyz Monster, but claims that it's not enough to defeat him. Varis retorts that the fact that the LIGHT Ignis thinks so highly of himself proves that he's shallow. He activates the "Anti Enemy eXcharge" effect of "Borreload eXcharge Dragon", detaching an Overlay Unit to reduce the ATK of a monster by 600. He chooses "Magnus Dux", reducing it to 1900 ATK, and also allowing him to Special Summon a "Borrel" monster from his Graveyard. He revives "Borreload Dragon", and tells the LIGHT Ignis that he's coming. "Borreload eXcharge Dragon" attacks "Magnus Dux", and then Varis activates the "Anti Enemy Rokket" effect of "Borreload Dragon" to further reduce the ATK of "Magnus Dux" by 500, to 1400. Ai cheers that the ATK of "Magnus Dux" decreased again, and Lightning declares the effect of "Judgment Arrows", doubling the ATK of "Magnus Dux" to 2800. Varis states that it's still lower than the ATK of "eXcharge Dragon", and "eXcharge Dragon" attacks with "Borrel Cannon of Thunder", building up blue energy in its wing, body, and maw cannons and blasting it in a surge of light that obliterates "Magnus Dux" and reduces Lightning to 1500 LP. Ai celebrates Varis destroying "Magnus Dux", and Lightning growls in frustration.

To everyone's utter shock, Bohman Link Summons a Link-5 monster - "Chimera Hydradrive Dragrid".

Bohman chants "Appear! The circuit that determines the truth!" and he declares that the Summoning conditions are five Link Monsters will different Attributes. Playmaker holds back a gasp of shock, and Ai protests that it can't be. Bohman sets "Grand", "Flow", "Alteration", "Coolant" and "Burn Hydradrive" and Link Summons a Link-5 monster, much to the shock of Playmaker and Ai, the three Commanders, and Zaizen and Ghost Gal. Four serpentine heads materialize from elemental twisters, and then two more from a beam of light and a final central one rises up as "Chimera Hydradrive Dragrid" appears with 4000 ATK.

Ai asks if it's seriously a Link-5 monster, and Bohman activates the effect of "Chimera Hydradrive Dragrid"as it was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, placing a Hydradrive Counter on it. The red cross on "Dragrid's" central head lights up, and Clarissa asks in shock if Bohman summoned a Link-5 monster. Aso comments that Bohman is easily leaping over the hurdles of LINK VRAINS, while Genome notes that a phenomenon occurs in LINK VRAINS every time Bohman performs an action, and he deduces that Bohman must be using people. Ai freaks out over Bohman Summoning a Link-5 monster, and he asks if this means that Bohman is better than they are.

Bohman declares that he'll show why he said that Ai's sacrifice was pointless, and he activates his Skill. Playmaker gasps "What?" and up above them, the Neuron Link glows green again and begins to move. Aso protests that it's impossible; the Neuron Link was destroyed. Winds begin to whip up, and Playmaker gasps that it's a Data Storm. Bohman declares that this is his world, and he can use it as data to make up for shortcomings. The Data Storm erupts from the sky, catching Frog and Pigeon in its grasp before they can move and the log out with a scream as it swirls them round. Clarissa laments the return of the Neuron Link after they sacrificed so much to stop it. Playmaker steps forwards, protesting that Bohman will be destroying this world, but Bohman declares that it's a small price to pay to defeat Playmaker. The cross on Bohman's chest glows and he chants "Come! The new card created from my will! Master Storm Access!" and the Data Storm concentrates in his palm into a new card. He chants "Appear now! The circuit that determines the truth!" and sets "Chimera Hydradrive Dragid", declaring that the Summoning condition is at least one Link Monster, then chants "The embodiment of God carves a brand new history! Come forth, almighty dragon! Link Summon! Link-5 Perfectron Hydradrive Dragon!" It has 0 ATK, but Bohman activates its effect to place five Hydradrive Counters on it, and then it gains 1000 ATK for each. "Perfectron" increases to 5000 ATK, and Playmaker starts in shock. Clarissa is horrified that "Perfectron" has 5000 ATK, and Aso cries that this is bad; Bohman still has "Judgment Arrows" active. Genome adds that when Bohman deals damage, the ATK of "Perfection" will double and a single strike will be enough to defeat Playmaker.

VRAINS Episode 102 sections

Playmaker declares his turn and draws. Since he controls no monsters, he discards "Dotscaper" to Special Summon "Threshold Borg" from his hand, and then he Special Summons "Dotscaper" from the Graveyard via its own effect since it was sent there. Next he activates the Continuous Spell Card "Cynet Codec", and then he chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!", setting "Dotscaper" and "Threshold Borg" to Link Summon the Link-2 "Code Talker". Playmaker explains that the effect of "Cynet Codec" will now activate, allowing him to add a Cyberse monster with the same Attribute as the "Code Talker" he just Summoned from his Deck to his hand, and he adds "Micro Coder", explaining that he can use it in his hand to Link Summon a "Code Talker" Link Monster, so he chants "Appear again! The circuit that leads to the future" and sets "Micro Coder" and "Code Talker" to Link Summon the Link-3 "Encode Talker". Bohman smiles, observing that "Encode Talker" is still far weaker than "Perfectron". Ai snaps that their Duel is only just getting started, and Playmaker activates the effect of "Cynet Codec" again. Ai explains that this time they will add the LIGHT "Cyberse Gadget" from their Deck to their hand, and Playmaker also activates the effect of "Micro Coder" from the Graveyard as it was used to Link Summon, adding "Cynet Optimization" from his Deck to his hand. Then he Summons "Cyberse Gadget", and via its effect, Special Summons a Level 2 or lower monster from his Graveyard. He revives "Micro Coder", and then chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" again, setting "Encode Talker" and "Micro Coder" to Link Summon the Link-2 "Cyberse Witch". Next Playmaker activates the effect of "SIMM Tablir" from his hand, adding "Clock Wyvern" from his Graveyard to his hand, and then Special Summoning "SIMM Tablir" to the zone that "Cyberse Witch" points to. This activates the effect of "Cyberse Witch", allowing Playmaker to banish "Cynet Fusion" from his Graveyard to add "Cynet Ritual" and "Cyberse Magician" from his Deck to his hand, and then the other effect of "Cyberse Witch" allows Playmaker to revive "Widget Kid". Ai reminds Bohman that the effect of "Widget Kid" will allow them to Special Summon "Clock Wyvern" from their hand.

Playmaker combines the powers of the other Ignis, Link Summoning his own Link-5 monster - "Firewall Dragon Darkfluid".

Then Playmaker activates the Ritual Spell Card "Cynet Ritual", Tributing the Level 3 "Widget Kid" and the Level 5 "SIMM Tablir" to Ritual Summon "Cyberse Magician". Bohman muses on the Ritual Summon, and then Playmaker overlays the Level 4 "Clock Wyvern" and "Cyberse Gadget" to build the Overlay Network, Xyz Summoning the Rank 4 "Firewall eXceed Dragon". Bohman is shocked to see an Xyz Summon this time, but Playmaker immediately chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" and sets "Cyberse Witch" and "Firewall eXceed Dragon" to Link Summon the Link-3 "Transcode Talker". Bohman is baffled that Playmaker would use his Xyz Monster to Link Summon, and he wonders just what Playmaker is trying to do with all of these repeated Summons. Playmaker retorts that it seems that Bohman can't hear the voices of everyone guiding him. Bohman is surprised at the notion of voices, and he looks around and wonders if it was because the Neuron Link was destroyed. Playmaker replies that it's not that; it's because Bohman has no desire to connect with others. The world that Bohman wants to create is a selfish one that steps on everyone's hearts, and no matter how many minds Bohman steals, without heart he'll never hear the voices that guide to the future. Bohman asks "My heart?" and he thinks of Harlan. Playmaker declares that he can hear everyone's voices yearning for peace, and he tells Bohman that he's coming. He activates the effect of the Continuous Spell Card "Cynet Codec", adding the EARTH "Code Generator" from his Deck to his hand, and then activating the Continuous Spell Card "Cynet Optimization", allowing him to Summon another Cyberse monster this turn, Summoning "Code Generator". Playmaker then chants "Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" He declares that the Summoning conditions are at least three Effect Monster, and he sets "Cyberse Magician", "Code Generator" and the Link-3 "Transcode Talker" in the Link Arrows to link the circuit - five Link Arrows worth of monsters. Bohman can only gasp "What?!" in shock as Playmaker chants "The mysterious power filling the universe! Rain on the miracle star and create infinite life!" As he chants, a droplet of water falls from the rusted skies of the ruins of the Cyberse, hitting the earth and causing an eruption of wind and then fire, and Playmaker chants "Link Summon! Appear, Link-5 Firewall Dragon Darkfluid!" The Link-5 "Firewall" appears in a flash of rainbow light, embodying the elements of the other Ignis and standing at 3000 ATK.

Bohman protests that this is impossible; the only Link-5 monsters that exist are the ones that he created, so why does Playmaker have one? Ai furiously yells that this is the power that everyone entrusted to them. Bohman can only watch in shock as Playmaker activates the effect of "Darkfluid" as it was Link Summoned, placing a counter on it for every different kind of Cyberse Fusion, Ritual, Synchro and Xyz Monster in his Graveyard. He places four counters on "Darkfluid" and declares battle, ordering "Firewall Dragon Darkfluid" to attack "Perfectron Hydradrive Dragon". "Darkfluid" rises into the sky and spreads wings of purple energy diamonds as the green lines on its body turn red, and Bohman declares in satisfaction that it doesn't have enough ATK to destroy "Perfectron". Ai tells Bohman that he's wrong, and Playmaker explains that when it battles, "Darkfluid" will gain 2500 ATK for each counter on it, so it gains 10000 ATK, rising to 13000 ATK. "Darkfluid" attacks with "Neo Tempest Flame", breathing a stream of fire from its maw as the image of Flame rushes alongside the attack. Bphman declares that due to the effect of "Judgment Arrows", the ATK of "Perfectron" will double. "Perfectron" rises to 8000 ATK, and Bohman adds that the damage will become zero while "Perfectron" has a counter. Then he activates the effect of "Perfectron", removing a counter to prevent its destruction, causing an energy shield to intercept the flames. Playmaker points out that the ATK of "Perfectron" will decrease, and "Perfectron" falls to three Hydradrive Counters and 6000 ATK. So what? Bohman asks. He activates the effect of "Perfectron" since it battled, destroying all monsters Playmaker controls, and he declares that it all went to waste; "Darkfluid" is destroyed -

No, that goes to waste, Playmaker tells Bohman. He activates the effect of "Darkfluid", removing a counter of his own to negate the activation of Bohman's monster's effect and allow "Darkfluid" to attack again. "Darkfluid" falls to three counters and 10500 ATK, and Playmaker orders it to attack "Perfection" again, this time generating a sphere of water between its claws as it attacks with "Neo Tempest Aqua", firing a beam of water from the sphere. Aqua appears to command the attack, and Bohman declares that the effect of "Perfectron" will prevent him from taking damage, and by removing a counter it won't be destroyed. The energy barrier appears again to block the beam of water, and Ai declares that now the ATK of "Perfectron" are even lower as it falls to two counters and 4000 ATK. Playmaker then activates the "Karma Gear" effect of "Darkfluid", which falls to two counters and 8000 ATK. Bohman gasps as he realizes what's happening, and Ai comments that Bohman finally noticed that he's fallen into a combo of destruction that he can't escape, and this is the power that his friends entrusted to him and Playmaker. Bohman grits his teeth, asking if Playmaker was able to instantly figure out the power of "Darkfluid" and perfect this combo. Playmaker replies that by bonding with others, humans can evolve beyond imagination. Everyone's voices guided him here, and that's the power of connection. He orders "Darkfluid" to attack again, this time with "Neo Tempest Earth", and "Darkfluid" corkscrews tail-first towards "Perfectron" as Earth appears to launch a flying kick. Bohman stubbornly activates the effect of "Perfectron" again, preventing its destruction. It loses a counter, coming down to one as the energy barrier intercepts "Darkfluid's" tail, and Ai reminds Bohman that the ATK of "Perfectron" decreases again. Playmaker declares "Karma Gear" as "Darkfluid" negates the destruction effect of "Perfectron", which falls to 2000 ATK as "Darkfluid" falls to one counter and 5500 ATK. "Darkfluid" attacks again with "Neo Tempest Windy", and it launches its wing spikes as Windy - with his normal purple eyes - appears to command them to fire blasts of wind. Bohman furiously yells that "Perfectron" won't be destroyed, and it removes its last counter, intercepting the wind blasts with its energy shield. Playmaker warns Bohman that it isn't over, and "Darkfluid" uses its last counter, returning to 3000 ATK as it roars at Bohman.

Ai declares that now Bohman has no counters, so "Perfectron" has zero ATK and can't prevent its own destruction anymore. He tells Bohman to eat this; this attack will combine everyone's powers. "Darkfluid" rises into the air, its energy spikes expanding on a ring of data, and Playmaker orders "Firewall Dragon Darkfluid" to attack with "Neo Tempest End". "Darkfluid" fires a surge of rainbow energy from its maw that engulfs "Perfectron" and blows it and Bohman away, reducing Bohman's LP to zero. Bohman reflects that this is the Duel that Playmaker was going for. He thinks about what he can hear in his heart, as he remembers looking over the wind field in Windy's Cyberse with Harlan, who called him "big brother".

VRAINS Episode 104 sections

Ai declares his turn and draws, then activates the Field Spell "Ignister A.I.Land", explaining that it allows him to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower "@Ignister" monster from his hand while he controls no monsters in his Main Monster Zones. He Special Summons "Pikari @Ignister", then chants "Appear! The circuit that guides the dark!" and sets "Pikari" to Link Summon the Link-1 "Linguriboh", a darker and frowning version of "Linkuriboh". Then as he has no monsters in his Main Monster Zones again, he activates the effect of "Ignisteer A.I.Land" and Special Summons "Bururu @Ignister" Next he Normal Summons "Doyon @Ignister" and activates its effect, adding an "@Ignister" monster from his Graveyard to his hand, and he holds up "Pikari". Once again, Ai chants "Appear! The circuit that guides the dark!" and he explains that the Summoning conditions are three Cyberse monsters, including a DARK monster. He sets "Bururu", "Doyon" and "Linguriboh", chanting "The creation of dark shadows! The wisdom of dark night scatters throughout the world! Dance! Whirl! The maelstrom gathers in my hand to become the power of rising vigor! The abyss-" "That's too long bro!" Roboppi calls, and the music and Ai both stop short. "Surpass limitations! Link Summon! Appear, Link 3 Dark Templar @Ignister!" Ai chants. Roboppi comments that Ai wrapped up a lot.

Ai activates the effect of "Ignister A.I.Land" for the third time, Special Summoning "Pikari" again. Then he activates the effect of "Dark Templar @Ignister" as a monster was Special Summoned to a zone that it points to, Special Summoning as many "@Ignister" monsters from his Graveyard as possible to zones that his Link Monster points to. He resurrects "Doyon" and "Bururu", and then tunes the Level 3 WIND "Bururu" with the Level 4 "Doyon", chanting "Chaos that roams the dark road! The gale that soars the blue sky will bring the path! Synchro Summon! Appear, Level 7 Wind Pegasus @Ignister!" Roboppi tells him that he wrapped it up flawlessly this time, and Ai irritably tells him to stop commenting on everything. He activates the effect of "Bururu" from his Graveyard as it was used as Synchro Material for a Cyberse Synchro Monster, Special Summoning the other Synchro Material from his Graveyard. He resurrects "Doyon" and triumphantly declares that he has two Level 4 monsters. He overlays "Doyon" and the LIGHT "Pikari" to build the Overlay Network, then chants "The supernatural! Earth-shattering! Awaken that power from eternal lamentation! Xyz Summon! Come! Rank 4! Light Dragon @Ignister!" Queen smiles and comments on its 2300 ATK, declaring that it's not enough to defeat her given that "Golden Allure Queen" has 5000 ATK. Ai smirks as Queen tells him that he can't win with this formation, and Ai asks if she's sure.
