* In episode 58, Espa Roba uses this card during his Duel against Rex Raptor. When "Serpent Night Dragon" attacks this card, Espa activates "Mesmeric Control" to negate the attack and reduce the ATK of "Serpent Night Dragon" by 800. This card then attacks and destroys Rex's "Serpent Night Dragon", winning Espa the duel. Later Espa uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. He Tribute Summons this by Tributing Joey's "Swordsman of Landstar" (which Espa took control of via "Mind Control"). This card's effect then destroys "Chasm of Spikes". In the next episode, Espa equips this monster with "Amplifier", increasing its ATK by 500. This monster then attacks and destroys Joey's "Alligator's Sword". Joey then summons "Baby Dragon" and "Time Wizard". He then activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds in its effect, allowing Joey to transform "Baby Dragon" into "Thousand Dragon". After Joey attacks this card with "Thousand Dragon", Joey was shocked that this card is unaffected by the effect of "Time Wizard". Espa then explains that this card's armor is made of a special alloy that is guaranteed not to age or corrode for ten-thousand years. This card then destroys "Thousand Dragon". On Espa's Standby Phase, "Amplifier" increases this card's ATK by 300. This card and "Reflect Bounder" then attack and destroy two "Sheep Tokens". Joey then activates "Roulette Spider" to target this card spin it around like a roulette until Espa orders it to stop. When Espa yells at this card to stop, it points at his "Reflect Bounder". Due to the second effect of "Roulette Spider", this card attacks and destroys "Reflect Bounder". The effect of "Reflect Bounder" then activates, which destroys this card and inflicts the Battle Damage from the battle to Espa, thus winning Joey the Duel. Joey then won this card from Roba as per the Battle City Rules.

Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

  • This card's attack name in the original Japanese is Cyber Energy Shock; Psychic Wave while its effect is known as Trap Search and Trap Crush. Its effect not only negated, but destroyed face-up and face-down Trap Cards on the field.

Battle City[edit]

  • In episode 58, Espa Roba uses this card during his Duel against Rex Raptor. Later Joey activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds in its effect, allowing Joey to transform "Baby Dragon" into "Thousand Dragon". Joey then activates "Roulette Spider" to target this card and spin it around like a roulette until Espa orders it to stop.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appeared on the screen of the laptop Tristan was using when he was trying to let Serenity Wheeler know how the Duel between Joey and Espa was going.
  • In episode 63, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Weevil Underwood. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Swordsman of Landstar". This card then attacks and destroys Weevil's "Flying Kamakiri #2". On Joey's next turn, this card attacks and destroys Weevil's set "Kiseitai", but this activates the effect of "Kiseitai", equipping itself to this card. On Joey's next Standby Phase, the second effect of "Kiseitai" activates, increasing Weevil's Life Points by half of this card's ATK. Joey then uses this card to attack and destroy Weevil's set "Skull-Mark Ladybug", but this activates the latter's effect, increasing Weevil's Life Points by 500. On Joey's next Standby Phase, the second effect of "Kiseitai" increases Weevil's Life Points by half of this card's ATK. After Joey Normal Summons "Panther Warrior", he Tributes this card in order to allow "Panther Warrior" to attack Weevil's set "Pinch Hopper".
  • In episode 74, this card appears within a series of flashbacks that show all of Joey's Duels in Battle City.
  • In episode 87, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Odion. When Odion's "Embodiment of Apophis" attacks Joey's "Swordsman of Landstar", Joey activates "Foolish Burial" to send this card to Odion's Graveyard. Joey then activates "Graverobber" to Special Summon this card to his side of the field. Joey then uses this card's effect to destroy Odion's "Embodiments of Apophis". This card, "Battle Warrior" and "Swordsman of Landstar" then attack directly. After Odion activates "Swords of Revealing Light" Joey switches this card to Defense Position. In the next episode, Odion's "Mystical Beast Serket" attacks and destroys this card. "Mystical Beast of Serket" then gains ATK equal to the half of this card's ATK.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a series of flashbacks that Joey has when he notes to Odion that he has met many people on his way to the Battle City Finals and he kept fighting all the way no matter how grim the situation was.
  • In episode 89, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Odion has when he explains that "Mystical Beast Serket" counts as three Tributes due to it absorbing three of Joey's monsters which was why he could Tribute it for the Tribute Summon of "The Winged Dragon of Ra".

Virtual World[edit]

  • In episode 110, the four remaining the Big Five members later tried to take the bodies of Yugi's friends by force as defeating them in Duels proved to be useless. Joey quickly summoned five monsters to stall for time while he and his friends tried to get away on the truck. Leichter, as this monster, destroys "Battle Warrior" and "Baby Dragon". After defeating the monsters, the Big Five went after the truck, but the gang are able to get the truck started and escape. Eventually the gang ends up in a desert and later crash. Before the Big Five can take the bodies of Yugi's friends, Noah captures them for questioning on their actions.

Battle City Finals[edit]

  • In episode 124, this card is shown in a flashback that Joey has when he remembers all the Duelists he faced on his way to the Battle City Finals.
  • In episode 125, this card is shown in Joey's hand during his Duel against Yami Marik, He was forced to discard this card due to the effect of "Helpoemer". In the next episode, Joey activates "Question" to make Marik guess what the first monster that was sent to his Graveyard was. As Yami Marik could not guess what card Joey sent to the Graveyard via the effect of "Helpoemer", Joey Special Summons this card from the Graveyard. Joey then uses this card's effect to destroy Marik's "Coffin Seller", "Nightmare Wheel" (which frees Joey's "Rocket Warrior" from the effect of "Nightmare Wheel") and set "Malevolent Catastrophe". This card then attacks and destroys Marik's "Legendary Fiend" (which had 2200 ATK via its own effect). Later Marik Tributes this card and Joey's "Baby Dragon" in order to Special Summon "Lava Golem" to Joey's side of the Field.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers obtaining this card from Espa Roba during Battle City.
  • In episode 135, this card is seen in a series of flashbacks Yugi has when he remembers the previous Duels that Joey went through in Battle City.
  • In episode 144, this card is shown when Téa Gardner and Serenity go through a park. They see this card under the control of a kid Dueling another kid. The former-mentioned kid Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Rocket Warrior". After this card was summoned, its effect activates, destroying the latter-mentioned kid's "Solemn Wishes". What happened next is unknown as the scene goes back to Téa and Serenity.

Waking the Dragons[edit]

  • In episode 170, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Valon. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Battle Warrior". This card then attacks Valon's "Psychic Armor Head", but Valon uses the effect of his Armor monsters to redirect the attack to his "Buster Knuckle" (which had 1900 ATK via its own effect and "The Seal of Orichalcos"), destroying it instead. Valon's "Burning Knuckle" (which had 1700 ATK via its own effect and "The Seal of Orichalcos") then attacks this card. This card then destroys "Burning Knuckle", but this activates the effect of "Burning Knuckle", decreasing this card's ATK by the ATK of "Burning Knuckle". On Joey's next turn, Joey uses this card to attack Valon's "Jet Gauntlet", but this activates the effect of "Jet Gauntlet", destroying both battling monsters at the start of the Damage Step without applying damage calculation.
  • In episode 182, Joey Summons this card to aide in the battle against The Great Leviathan. Yami Yugi, Joey, and Kaiba, after bringing out three monsters each, then summon their Legendary Dragons. Yami Yugi then used "Legend of Heart" to transform the Dragons into the three Legendary Knights. All the monsters summoned by Yami Yugi, Joey, and Kaiba then attack The Great Leviathan. When the Great Leviathan counterattacks, Yami Yugi quickly has Timaeus absorb the power of "Big Shield Gardna" to protect everyone from the attack. While this saves the chosen Duelists and the Legendary Knights, it doesn't save the other monsters summoned by the Chosen Duelists.

Grand Championship[edit]

  • In episode 186, the KC DuelTek 760 uses this card during its Duel against Yami Yugi while the latter was using Rick's Deck. The computer Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Berserk Gorilla". Due to this card's effect, the computer's "Robbin' Goblin" is destroyed. This card then attacks and destroys "The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave". On the computer's next turn, this card attacks and destroys "Baby Dragon". On the last turn of the Duel, Yugi summons "Spirit Ryu" and uses it to attack this card. Yugi then activates the effect of "Spirit Ryu" during the Damage Step, discarding the six Dragon-type Normal Monsters in his hand to increase the ATK of "Spirit Ryu" by 1000 for each Dragon discarded. This makes the ATK of "Spirit Ryu" 7000. "Spirit Ryu" then destroys this card, winning Yami Yugi the duel.
  • In episode 187, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. In the next episode, this card is still shown to be in Joey's hand.

Due to this card's second effect, the effect of Syrus' "Rebirth Judgment" is negated. Later Makoto sends this card to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon "Jinzo - Lord".
