Ishida Glatt (グラット石（いし）田（だ） Guratto Ishida) is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. A citizen of Mutsuba Town with a fascination towards rock balancing, Ishida tends to be confused for an alien.

Ishida is a young boy with long and messy dark purple hair, combed to visually appear like a stalagmite. He dons an outfit reminiscent to that of a caveman.

When speaking, he tends to use the phrases "Ishi-dabba-doo" and "nice/bad balance"

History

Ishida has complained multiple to Asaka about the speed she is going, but won't except any money from her.

Go Rush

After Asaka turns the ship and causes Yudias and Yuna to fall down a slope, Ishida breaks out of a pile of rocks which Yudias mistakes him for a primative alien. Ishida explains that he isn't an alien but a rock-balancing artist.

Showing Yudias and Yuna is rock-balancing art, Yudias is excited to see such balancing but Yuna doesn't believe it to be art. Yudias tries to creative his own, but Ishida tells him he has no balance and that balancing is like the universe. He explains that like how the moon orbits earth, like an apple falling from a tree, like a cat in a box, like eating cup noodles at night, and like being under a blanket, all are balance. And the one who masters balance masters the universe. Learning this, Yudias asks Ishida to be his teacher which he excepts and they get to work and that they will live among the rocks for a month. Yuna questions what this has to do with balancing, which Ishida explains that in the morning they will meditate on rocks and in the evening after bathing in rocks they will sleep on the rocks and that if your balance is good it will be just like a bed. They will also eat granite, rhyolite and limestone as their 3 meals a day as it's apart of a balanced mean. However they won't literally eat them, because by looking at them you will absorb the nourishment into your stone heart. And by doing this, you will learn the truth of the universe. Yudias says he will do it, and Ishida introduces them to his rock family which at this point Yuhi and Yuamu appear. Asaka turns the ship again, causing Ishida's rock-balacing art and rock family to fall apart. This annoys Ishida and he won't take anymore of Asaka ruining his art in his rock car, which Yuamu breaks. He explains how he doesn't want cash from her, only stones and how he wants to go back to earth. Yuna suggests to him that he duels Yudias for it, which he accepts. He attempts to use a rock disk, but it's too heavy so he uses a normal one instead. Yudias transforms forgetting Ishida isn't an alien, but Ishida believes it to just be a cosplay.

After losing the duel to Yudias, Asaka appears. He tells her he won't take any money so he is given a shiny stone instead and says he won't complain anymore. Ishida's Sister then appears to tell him dinner is ready, and they both leave.

Deck

Ishida uses an EARTH Rock Deck, comprised of cards based on different machinery and vehicles that are reimagined to fit a prehistoric setting. The core strategy of the Deck is to control monsters with Levels 1-through-3 or 5-through-7, and take advantage of powerful supplementary effects granted by individual cards when such conditions are met.
