Captain Corn is a character appearing in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL manga. He is a Numbers Hunter, as well as a Numbers holder.

Design

Captain Corn is pretty much what his name says. His face resembles a piece of corn, whilst his clothing showcases his career as a pirate via a large comical pirate hat which features a skull and crossbones and tight leather pants. He also has a large handlebar mustache and is always seen smoking a cigar.

Captain Corn died from unknown reasons, but he was known to be a pirate who sailed around the sea, enjoying his life as a pirate. His favorite food was corn in all forms. When Dr. Faker found his body, he opened a compass which he found on Corn's body, and a piece of corn fell onto Corn's body, reviving him with the appearance of a cob of corn.

Theme Park

After being revived by Dr. Faker, Captain Corn worked as a entertainer on one of the roller coaster rides within the Heartland Fairground, dressed as a his previous career of a pirate. He uses the ride to bring Duelists who possess "Numbers" to him, which he will then Duel, and get their "Numbers" cards.

When Yuma Tsukumo and his friends from the Numbers Club entered the ride, Captain Corn separated Yuma from the others and challenged him to a Duel betting their "Numbers". Straight away, he gained the advantage by Summoning his "Number": "Number 50: Black Corn", which shocked Yuma and Astral. After a grueling Duel, Yuma manages to defeat Corn, sending him stumbling forward which unfortunately for him results in his groin coming into contact with a gearstick, causing him immense pain before exploding into a pile of popcorn, which Yuma and his friends then eat.
