"Strike Bounzer" attacks this card, with Yuma using "Half Unbreak" to halve the battle damage. After Astral returns, Yuma combines this card with "Double or Nothing!" and "Double Tension", increasing its ATK to 7600. It attacks "Photon Papilloperative", but Nistro uses "Bounzer Guard" to redirect the attack to "Strike Bounzer". Regardless, this move wins Yuma the Duel.

Yuma uses the effect of "Utopia" to negate the attack, then uses "Double or Nothing!" to double the ATK of "Utopia" and let it attack again. It destroys "Excalibur", winning Yuma the Duel.
Barian Invasion
- In episode 87, Yuma plays this card while teaming with Ray Shadows against Girag. He overlays "Ganbara Knight" and "Dododo Buster" to Xyz Summon it after changing the Level of the latter card to 4 via its own effect. When "Number 106: Giant Hand" attacks Ray's "Shining Destroyer", Yuma detaches an Overlay Unit to negate the attack, but Girag detaches an Overlay Unit from "Giant Hand" to negate the effect. In episode 88, this card attacks "Giant Hand", but the effect of "Giant Hand" activates, destroying this card and inflicting damage to Yuma equal to its ATK. Ray uses the effect of "Shining Sly" to Tribute Yuma's "Gogogo Golem" and reduce the damage to 0. Girag detaches an Overlay Unit from "Giant Hand" to negate the effect, so Yuma takes the damage. Ray Special Summons this card with "Shining Reborn" by Tributing "Sly" and "Shining Rabbit" and sending Yuma's hand to the Graveyard, giving Yuma "Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force" in the process. Yuma plays that card to Rank-Up this card into "Number C39: Utopia Ray V".

Shark attacks it with "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon", but Yuma uses the effect of "Utopia" to detach and Overlay Unit and negate the attack. Shark attacks it with "Jawsman", but Yuma activates his face-down "Bye Bye Damage", preventing its destruction in battle and inflicting 800 damage to Shark. On his turn, Yuma attacks "Leviathan Dragon" with this card, but negates his own attack by detaching the overlaid "Gagaga Magician". This lets him activate "Double or Nothing!", letting this card attack again with its ATK doubled. "Leviathan Dragon " is destroyed and Yuma wins the Duel.
- In Rank 5, Tokunosuke Hyori, Special Summons this card from Yuma's Extra Deck via the effect of "Ultra C". It attacks and destroys Yuma's "Full Elf". It later attacks "Baby Tragon" while under the effect of "Half Unbreak". Yuma attacks directly with "Needle Swordsman" via the effect of "Baby Tragon", returning "Ultra C" and "Mistrust" to Flip's hand and giving Yuma control of "Leviathan Dragon" and this card back. This card attacks directly to win after "Leviathan Dragon" destroys "Urangutan".
- In Rank 8, Yuma plays this card against Kaito Tenjo. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. In the next Rank, Yuma activates "Blustering Winds" to increase its ATK by 1000. This card attacks "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", but Kaito activates that card's effect, banishing both monsters until the end of the Battle Phase, resulting in this card losing its Overlay Units. The monsters return and "Galaxy-Eyes" gains 500 ATK for each Overlay Unit this card had. "Galaxy-Eyes" attacks this card, but it is not destroyed, since "Galaxy-Eyes" is not a "Number" monster. Yuma plays "Cross Attack", preventing his "Leviathan Dragon" from attacking, but letting this card attack directly. Kaito plays "Photon Current", adding the ATK of "Utopia" to that of "Galaxy-Eyes" and redirecting the attack to it. The Duel ends when Kaito leaves to see to Haruto, just before the attack would have defeated Yuma.
- In Rank 12, Yuma plays this card against Captain Corn. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. This card attacks "Number 50: Blackship of Corn", but Captain Corn uses "Incornceivable" to Special Summon "Giant Kra-Corn" and redirect the attack to it. Corn activates the effect of "Blackship" to destroy this card, but Yuma redirects the target to "Zubaba Knight" with "Oopsword". The effect of "Giant Kra-Corn" powers up "Blackship" and it attacks "Utopia", but Yuma uses "second Reflector" to negate the effect and inflict damage to Corn.
- In Rank 14, Yuma plays this card against Thunder Spark. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Knight Hunger Monger" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks "Number 91: Thunder Spark Dragon", but Spark uses "Dragon Booster" to increase its ATK, prompting Yuma to negate his own attack with "Negate Attack". In the next Rank, this card would have been destroyed by the effect of "Thunder Spark Dragon", but Yuma uses "Ray of Hope" to prevent the destruction of this card. This card attacks directly on the next turn, winning Yuma the Duel.

Yuma Special Summons this card with the effect of "ZW - Ultimate Shield". He then activates "Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force", Ranking Up this card into "Number C39: Utopia Ray V".
- In chapter 14, Yuma plays this card against Raizo Akuma. He overlays "Goblindbergh" and "Gagaga Magician" to Xyz Summon it. He uses "Limited Barian's Force" to Rank it Up into "Utopia Ray V". When that card is destroyed, Yuma returns this card to his Extra Deck. He then overlays "Goblindbergh" and "Tatakawa Knight" to Xyz Summon it again. This time, he uses "Rank-Up-Magic Numeron Force" to Rank it Up into "Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory".
- In chapter 15, Yuma plays this card against Kento Naito. He overlays "Tasuke Knight" and "Ganbara Knight" to Xyz Summon it. He equips it with "ZW - Tornado Bringer" and attacks "Noble Knight Gawayn", who is not destroyed by battle due to the effect of the "Noble Arms of Destiny" equipped to it. "Tornado Bringer" is destroyed via the effect of Kento's "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights". Kento increases the ATK of this card with "Forbidden Chalice", but negates its effect, letting "Artorigus" attack and destroy it. Yuma uses "Xyz Revenge" to Special Summon this card and attach an Overlay Unit from "Artorigus" to it. He then uses this card to Summon "Utopia Ray".
- In chapter 17, Yuma plays this card against IV. he overlays "Dododo Witch" and "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. He equips it with "Tornado Bringer" and attacks and destroys "Gimmick Puppet Scissor Arms". IV destroys "Tornado Bringer" with "Spell Shattering Arrow", then destroys this card with the effect of "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder".
- In chapter 19, Yuma plays this card against Kaito Tenjo. He overlays "Copy Knight" and "Ganbara Knight" to Xyz Summon. He uses "Xyz Veil" to prevent his Xyz Monsters from being targeted by card effects, letting this card safely attack "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", after having reduced its ATK with "Mini-Guts" by Tributing "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn". This card destroys "Galaxy-Eyes", with "Mini-Guts" inflicting the ATK of "Galaxy-Eyes" to Kaito afterwards, winning Yuma the Duel.
- In chapter 23, Yuma plays this card against Master Evil. He overlays "Goblinbergh" and "Gagaga Magician" to Xyz Summon it.
